The morning sun burst through the curtains in Jade's bedroom atop the 2 story penthouse, the light warming the room a little as she slowly got up.
She stared at the ceiling for a while, her eyes devoid of any emotion.
She groaned as she sat up, vest raising up to reveal her tanned stomach.
"Ashley was supposed to wake me up this morning, where could she be?." Jade asked herself.
She got off the bed, her feet sinking into the plush carpeting beneath her.
She yawned loudly, her eyes darting towards the digital clock on her night stand.
7:49am...
"Oh I'm late..... Ashley is going to have to explain herself for this!."
She said, growling slightly as she walked towards the bathroom.
She brushed her teeth and completed the other tasks that are part of her morning routine.
She exited the bathroom as a cloud of thick steam followed her behind.
She wraps a towel around her head.
The other towel wrapped over her chest to show the fullness of her breasts.
Her face slightly flushed.
She sits on the edge of her king sized bed, her hand reaching for her phone as she dials Ashley's number.
Ring! Ring! Ring!
[No Answer.]
Jade mumbles under her breath, her expression shifting to one of annoyance.
"Why isn't she answering her phone, doesn't she know that she was supposed to check in..." Jade complains under her breath.
She calls Ken to ask him if Ashley has contacted her.
"Well good morning beautiful, how may I preserve this unexpected call?" He asked, his tone cocky.
"Shut your mouth Ken and listen, has Ashley already reported at work today? Cause she hasn't passed by my house." She asks him.
Ken takes a few seconds to answer, his tone now calm and collected.
"Yes she has, but she left with that rookie.... what was his name again...."
"Oh yes Andy Matthews, that I.S you hired a week ago..." he tells her, his voice becoming slightly bitter when speaking about Andy.
Jade stays quiet for a well, but her breathing increases slightly as her nose flares up.
"I see.... so neither Andy nor Ashley are at the office....thank you for this information." She tells him as she hangs up.
She bites down on her perfectly manicured nail, her eyes glittering with something dangerous.
"So.... she's started again....well two can play that game Ashley."
She tells herself as she gets dressed.
After a few minutes, she exits the bedroom in an emerald designer dress, her black heels contrasting perfectly with her sunglasses.
A Gucci designer handbag in her right hand. She straddles towards the kitchen, her heels clicking hard against the oak floors.
Her hips swayed hypnotically as her breasts bounced in rhythm.
Her maid, Anna, is waiting for her with a cup of coffee."Morning madam, I have your coffee just as you like it."
She declares, bowing before handing Jade the cup.
She sniffs it once and takes a sip, her lips smacking together.
"This is.... excellent as always Anna, keep it up and be ready to receive your reward night." Jade tells her as she leaves.
Anna blushes slightly, "T-thank you madam, it will be an honor..." she says, bowing her head to hide her blush.
Jade walks outside as two individuals in black are waited by a pristine white Limo.
"Good morning madam, your ride is ready." One of the men said.
"We will arrive within 15 minutes madam." The other adds on.
Jade barely responds, she just lets out a scoff and walks towards the door.
One of the men opened the door, allowing her to enter.
She didn't say a single word but her driver already understood.
He started the engine and drove off.
Jade sipped her coffee as her mind simulated different scenarios of events, her grip tightening and loosening from time to time.
8:45am
Jade finally arrived at the office, without a single word, she stepped out of the limo and walked towards the building.
She threw her coffee, the cup hitting a child in its face but she couldn't care less.
The reception area felt colder as jade walked through, everyone from employees to clients moved away from her, they could sense her explosion coming.
She boarded the elevator, her heels tapping impatiently as it raised.
She was headed for floor five, Andy's office and department.
"I swear if he isn't in there at this time....." she left the thought hanging.
The elevator finally made its stop at Andy's department, Jade didn't spare any time, quickly matching towards his office.
The employees of the department avoid eye contact at all costs.
Jade paused before Andy's office, her hand hovering over the handle.
She grips it and twists, the door creaking open.
Her gaze immediately lands on his desk, she notices he is not there and all she needs. She closes the door and turns back.
One of Andy's juniors makes eye contact and drops a stack of papers, her hands quickly moving to pick them up.
As she reaches for the last, Jade's foot presses down on it, forcing her look up and the intimidating figure before her.
"You.... your name is Rachel, when your boss arrives, please tell him that his boss is looking for him....understood?" Jade asked her.
Rachel could only nod slowly, fear creeping up her whole body.
