The whole room watches as the new employee steps through the doors and greets them.
"H-hello, my name is Alex Moore.... I'm glad to be joining all of you as the newest addition."
He told them nervously.
"Why so nervous sweetie, none of us are gonna bite." Ken stated, smirking a little too much.
Alex arched his back, trying to make himself smaller.
"Geez, if you keep being a creep , no one is gonna apply for a job here anymore."
Andy told him as he stood up and walked towards him.
"Besides, we have to treat our new workers with respect." He stated, extending his hand out to him.
"Glad to have you aboard Alex." Andy stated.
Alex reached out and held his hand tightly, "Thank you, Andy..." he whispered his name silently.
The other executives all made their introductions and proceeded on with the meeting.
Alex was told to take a seat between one of the empty chairs, his petite body sinking into the material slightly.
As the meeting went on, Alex couldn't keep his off Andy. The meeting went on without any further issue as the date was set.
As everyone came to leave, Andy noticed Alex still seated in her chair.
"Didnt expect to see you here, if you'd ask me, I'd say you're following me."
He muttered, his expression still that blank, empty stare but with a slight hint of a smirk.
Alex scolfed at his accusations but couldn't manage to hide the blush and smile creeping up her face.
"Still the same jerk as always i see, the only difference is that now you're employed and making money."
Alex told him as he stood up, he jabbed his manicured finger on Andy's chest, circling the muscles there.
"All this money and power, and now you're acting like you never had a thing for me. How predictable, men are all the same."
He started pouting hard as he turned away from Andy.
Andy patted his head softly. "Arent you a man too, are did you finally complete the transition?"
Andy asked as Alex slapped his hand off his head.
"I told you I hate it when you do that, it makes me.... shut up!"
Andy smiled as he saw how flustered he was, he started heading towards the door.
"Come on, I know you want to catch up, so stop being a drama king and follow me." He started as he walked out.
Alex followed him soon after, he caught up and punched his shoulder. "Jerk, its drama queen not king, you idiot."
He told him as he stepped into the elevator.
From the corner of her office door, Ashley watched on, her expression neutral and unreadable.
23:45pm
Andy and Alex talked as they both walked home, remembering the good times before work or responsibility.
"No, I wasn't the problem, Mr Anderson just couldn't handle my bombastic personality and charm."
Alex told him as she made some hand gestures to better explain.
"Alex, you threw hydrochloric acid at a student, you almost melted his skin off. You were almost arrested."
Andy tells him, chuckling a little. Alex gasps loudly, placing his hand on his chest, cycling the muscles there.
"Well, I'm glad you were to help me, besides you loved that side of me. The dangerous and unpredictable side of me, I got you addicted."
Alex stated while giving a triumphant smile.
Andy just rolls his eyes and keeps walking, they reach Alex's apartment.
"Anyway, I'm off, I have to get ready for this whole ass trip i dont wanna go too." Andy states.
Alex waves him goodbye as he steps inside, Andy barely takes a few steps before he hears someone running towards him.
He turns and Alex gives him a bear hug, wrapping his arms and legs around him. "I'm really glad I'm working with you, Andy."
He mutters.
Andy just pats his head, but Alex allows him this time. He lets go and warns Andy about the criminals that wonder at night.
"Dont worry, I'll be fine." Andy states as he makes the long journey back home.
01:29am...
Andy passes through a nearby park that appears to be open, he believes it's a shortcut that will get him home faster.
As he makes his way through, he can't shake off the feeling of something or someone is following him.
He manages to make it to the center of the park, a dimly lit area away from prying eyes.
He notices a few individuals sitting in the dark and turns back. But more appear from behind him.
"Oh come on, can't I even catch a break for once." He mutters under his breath.
One man steps forward, a dirty old man with barely any front teeth.
"Well lookie, who we got here, a little rich boy all by himself, well son, why don't you empty your pockets and get it."
The old man says in what Andy believes is a Texas accent.
"Listen old man, I really don't have time for this, so if you could just forget that I was ever here, I'd really appreciate it."
Andy told them, but he noticed that some of them started closing on him.
"Sorry sonny, but as you can see, you walked into our territory and we don't take kindly to trespassers here."
The old man, signaling his men to approach Andy.
Andy started taking off his jacket and belt, he presented them in front of the old man.
"Here, take it, I don't want any trouble , sir." He stated.
The old man reached out and grabbed the jacket, but the moment he looked down and up, Andy kicked him in the mouth.
Andy kicked the man a few feet back.
"Sorry, I forgot to mention that it's a bad idea to attack a red belt in karate, so I suggest you get the hell out of here."
He started as he wiped his shoe on the grass underneath him.
The old man looked at him and tried to speak, but his teeth and blood were the only thing that came out.
"Huh? Speak up i cant hear you buddy." Ansy stated, making fun of him.
"But seriously, just because someone looks simple and harmless, doesn't mean he can't defend themselves."
He tells them.
The old man gets up and snaps his fingers, the men surround Andy with weapons, Andy sighs a little, the nervousness finally creeping in.
"Alright, I guess a formal agreement could not be met, so I suggest a more hands on approach."
He states as they close in on him.
