Kai smiled and then it faded away. His face was twisted in a sense of utter confusion and blissful surprise and he shouted in happiness, "1K mana!"

Kai grinned and said, "Raise everything by one point."
[Would you like to raise even locked attributes?]
Kai stared at the screen and asked his own question, "Sure, but what are those?"
[Locked attributes are physical attributes or mental ones like soul strength, mana purity, and even perception and enlightenment. All can be raised to many levels. Right now you only have a few and you can unlock two of them. Soul strength and perception. Do you wish to unlock them?]
Kai smiled. "Sure, why not."
Kai felt a warm feeling flowing through his chest like he had just drunk a warm drink and he sighed in satisfaction.
When he looked at the holographic red screen again it had shifted once again.

Kai raised an eyebrow saying, "Why is my soul strength just not available?"

Kai's brows furrowed and he muttered slightly, "That I call Earth? What's that meant to mean?"
Though a loud sound of a bell tolling was heard throughout Kai's mind space.

Kai was grinning hearing this and said, "At least I will not have to spend a thousand years here. I would honestly go insane."
Kai's vision darkened and he slowly felt his senses returning to him. In fact they were stronger and greater than normal. He felt like he could detect everything around him.
In room F1-7 of the Lifeline Hospital, Kai's body finally stabilized and his eyes were fluttering open.
As Kai opened his eyes, his body flinched due to the bright light and he closed them reflexively. Then he opened them again, seeing his father and mother standing above him with worried looks.
Doctor Kyle was sitting on a chair next to Kai's bed and further away was a person sitting next to Kai's brother Ray. Both were talking like they were familiar with each other. In fact the person was the same one who had appeared the last time Kai was abducted to the hospital.
Kai finally started seeing properly, not blurry anymore, and then he slightly smiled and stood up on the bed.
Instantly, the second he got up sitting on the bed, his mother lunged at him for a bear hug while his father just sighed in relief.
On the other hand Ray did not even look amused. In fact he looked annoyed and pissed off that Kai was even alive, but clearly he was hiding it very well. Due to Kai's higher perception he literally felt the tiny amounts of killing intent directed at him.
All of the nurses had already left but one was still there. She was Kyle's assistant, his personal nurse. It was Nova. She also seemed tired like Kyle, so both were sitting down while Nova looked disheveled and utterly spent.
Kai finally was able to speak after his mom let him go and instantly sent a barrage of questions at him.
She said, "What happened to you? Are you okay? Why did you scream like that? Do you even know how much panic you caused us? Kai, are you mentally alright?"
Kai sighed and said, "I do not know what happened to me. I am fine. I do not know. I felt an intense sharp boiling pain in my heart and it felt like the depths of hell, but I am fine and clearly mentally I am A OK."
Kyle simply said, "You are going to have to answer some things for us in a day or two, but for now I will leave you alone."
Kyle got up and Nova followed, trying her best to fix her long black hair that was currently in a mess, yet still beautiful as she left with Kyle.
And with that two days passed and Kai was allowed to move around in the hospital but not leave it and was constantly followed around by Nova.
Though Nova herself seemed more annoyed that she had to follow Kai around like a dog.
After a few hours of walking around, Kai entered his room once again, F1-7.
As she helped Kai sit down on the bed, Kai simply said, "You know I do not need your help."
Nova sighed and said, "For the last time, if I could leave you I already would have the second I could."
Kai fake winced saying, "So harsh."
Nova simply scoffed and sat down on the couch.
Though her mind was in turmoil.
