Chapter 19 - My Bloodline System

Chapter 19 Manifesting Mana (2)

[Your Skill Regeneration has evolved. Please pick a path from the given.]

[1: Body Regeneration. Increased bodily regeneration could heal up to a lost arm.]

[2: Soul Regeneration. Heals only the soul, not the body. Can heal soul shattering attacks.]

[3: Mixed Regeneration. Can heal both the body, soul, and mind together with decreased speed .]

Kai was still on the river path, and he was in a lotus position, still trying to push out his mana. He slowly was understanding how to do it.

So the second the notifications came, he got up to read them and instantly picked the last option.

He did not even read them because the system had already informed him of the paths, and he already knew what he wanted to pick.

[Your Skill Regeneration has evolved.]

[Error]

[Level 2 system activating]

[All titles have changed. Due to you only having one, nothing too bad happened.]

[System reboot]

[ . . . ]

[Reboot completed]

[New skills achieved]

[The Level 2 system has changed all titles, making them permanent and giving you an ability or a stat. But due to you gaining a new level at the same time you got a new skill, you have gained two things.]

[Separate. Allows you to split skills.]

[Synthesize. Combine two skills to form one.]

[Due to Separate activating, your title is now split into two, a silver key and a system given title.]

[Silver Key Evolver. Evolves any skill or attribute once only.]

[Title: Evolver. When you have this title active, your newly evolving skills will gain max rank, though this title completely absorbs 550 mana.]

Kai was in a trance. After all, he was very close to getting the new skill and was putting all of his attention on the mana that was slowly flowing smoother and smoother within his body. Slowly he started to push it out.

This was all meant to allow him to finally manifest mana, though he still did not know its use, so he decided to ask the system later.

Meanwhile in the real world, around Kai's body was a very thin and faint golden aura, but no one was really focused on it. Why?

Well, every single monitor connected to Kai was screaming at this moment as all five nurses ran around in panic, while the doctor was examining Kai with panic as well.

His heart rate was elevated, his brain activity, his mana, literally everything in his body was above normal, and his body was devouring the mana feed too.

The insane mana absorption speed was due to his skill evolving.

The system had told Kai that it would take at least 24 hours for him to wake up, but that prediction was before his regeneration skill had evolved.

He was already at the brink of waking up, but he was so close to getting mana manifestation.

Inside Kai's mind space, finally he felt it. Mana leaving his body. He felt his own mana being around him in his mind space. Unbeknownst to him, the same phenomenon was going on in real life as well.

And then finally he heard the chime.

Ding

[New skill achieved]

[Mana Manifestation Level 1. Allows the host to control mana outside the body and to push his own mana outside of his body.]

Kai stood up, his clothes soaking wet, and then he got out of the river and his clothes instantly dried. After all, everything in this world was under his will.

He smiled with pride and screamed into the sky, "FINALLY!"

Though his celebration was cut short as a chime resounded in his mind.

Ding

[Your regeneration skill has boosted your awakening to less than one hour.]

Kai was stumped and said, "What? Why?"

[Your regeneration skill called Mixed Regeneration has reached its maximum level.]

Kai was utterly dumbfounded and muttered, "Wait, huh? How?"

[Would you like me to play back the notifications you missed in your enlightenment?]

Kai sighed. "Y-yes? And what is enlightenment?"

A red holographic screen appeared.

[Enlightenment. Enlightenment is a natural phenomenon that allows the host to progress faster in his understanding of anything that is currently within his mind. No one can control it, and it is a very rare thing. If interrupted, you could die.]

Kai stared at the screen before him and he did not even understand what that meant, but he understood the underlying idea.

Kai muttered, "M-my skills then?"

The system showed him the notifications, including the new skills and that he had already reached level two.

Kai smiled and said, "Now that is something I can get along with. Show me my stats."
