The next day passed in a relaxed rhythm. After a quiet breakfast, Luo Feng, Miya, Kael, and Lin Wang headed to the Adventurers Guild and picked a simple herb-gathering quest — nothing dangerous, just a request to collect a few common medicinal plants that grew on the outskirts of the capital. They spent the afternoon wandering peaceful meadows and light woods, gathering the required herbs while chatting and enjoying the fresh air. Miya stayed close to Luo Feng, her new katana at her hip, while Kael and Lin Wang tested the feel of their new Mithril swords with playful swings.
They returned to the guild just as the sun began to set, turned in the herbs, received a small payment, and headed back to the Silver Lantern Inn as twilight settled over the city.
The following noon, they returned to the dwarf's forge.
The master blacksmith was waiting for them, a wide grin splitting his bearded face. On the table lay the finished weapon — a magnificent spear-trident. The entire shaft and three prongs were forged from pure Adamantite, now a deep, glossy black. Crackling purple lightning danced continuously over the surface, small arcs of violet electricity leaping between the prongs and occasionally sparking outward. The weapon hummed with raw power, far beyond anything the dwarf had expected.
Luo Feng's eyes widened slightly as he looked at it. Miya, Kael, and Lin Wang stared in awe.
The dwarf lifted the trident with both hands and held it out proudly.
"This trident is no longer ordinary," he declared, voice thick with amazement. "When I mixed the Adamantite with that Legendary Lightning Magic Stone, something… changed. It evolved. The lightning didn't just infuse it — it transformed the whole weapon. Now it carries cosmic-level power. It can cut through the void itself. I've never seen anything like it in all my years. I have no idea how it turned out this way. The runes I carved reacted strangely, and the stone fused deeper than any metal I've ever worked. This is no longer just a weapon… it's a cosmic trident spear."
He handed the weapon to Luo Feng. The moment his fingers closed around the shaft, faint purple lightning danced harmlessly over his skin, as if recognizing its new master. The trident felt perfectly balanced — light yet incredibly strong.
Luo Feng bowed deeply. "Thank you, master. This is beyond what I expected."
The dwarf waved it off with a laugh. "Just take good care of it, lad. And keep bringing me that wine — I'll be drinking it for years!"
After leaving the forge, the four of them returned to the Silver Lantern Inn as evening fell. They ate a hearty dinner together — roasted meat, fresh bread, and soup — while talking about the long journey home that would begin the next morning. Little Lila served them with her usual cheerful energy, and her mother gave them a warm farewell, knowing they would be leaving soon.
When they finally went upstairs, Kael and Lin Wang retired to their room. Luo Feng and Miya entered theirs, closed the door, and spent the night as they had grown used to — wrapped in each other's arms, doing what married couples do, before falling asleep naked together under the blanket, bodies warm and hearts content.
Morning would bring the start of their journey back to Eden Village, now better armed, richer in goods and gold, and carrying powerful new weapons — especially the cosmic lightning trident that hummed softly beside Luo Feng's bed.
