The dwarf was still admiring his own handiwork when Luo Feng spoke again, his voice calm and respectful.
"Master blacksmith, can you forge one more weapon for me?"
The dwarf raised a thick eyebrow, then grinned widely and slammed his fist on the table. "Hah! Ye still have more tricks up yer sleeve? Aye, I can. What do ye need?"
Luo Feng reached into his Storage Bag once more. He pulled out a final large chunk of pure Adamantite and a fist-sized, crackling Legendary Lightning Magic Stone that pulsed with bright blue-white energy. Sparks danced across its surface even as he held it.
"I want you to forge a spear-trident," he said. "Mix both materials together — the Adamantite for the shaft and blades, and infuse the Lightning Magic Stone into the head so the entire weapon carries lightning power. Make the three prongs sharp and strong enough to pierce anything."
The dwarf's eyes lit up like forge flames. He took the Adamantite and the glowing stone, turning them over in his rough hands with clear excitement. "A spear-trident with lightning running through it… That's a fine, dangerous request. The stone will make the blades crackle with electricity on every strike. Lightning will jump between the prongs. I like it!"
He nodded firmly. "I can do it. Come back tomorrow at noon. It'll be ready — perfectly balanced and hungry for battle."
Luo Feng bowed. "Thank you. How much should I pay for all the forging — the swords, armors, dagger, and this new weapon?"
The dwarf waved a meaty hand dismissively, still staring at the Lightning Magic Stone with glee. "Bah! Forget the coin. The joy of working with such pure Adamantite and a legendary stone like this is payment enough. Ye've given me materials most blacksmiths only dream of."
Luo Feng smiled his gentle smile. He reached into the Storage Bag one last time and pulled out a small sealed barrel of the special grape wine from Eden Village — one of the few they had kept for themselves.
"Then please accept this as thanks," he said, placing the barrel on the table. "It is the same wine the Duke praised so highly. The longer you keep it, the better it tastes."
The dwarf's beard twitched with delight as he popped the seal and took a deep sniff. His eyes rolled back in pleasure. "By the ancestors… this smells like liquid gold! Ye've got yerself a deal, lad. Tomorrow at noon — the lightning trident will be waiting."
Luo Feng, Miya, Kael, and Lin Wang bowed once more and left the forge, the ringing of the dwarf's hammer already starting behind them as he began working on the new weapon with obvious enthusiasm.
Outside, Miya slipped her hand into Luo Feng's, the new katana now resting comfortably at her hip. "Another weapon?" she asked softly, a playful smile on her lips. "You really are preparing for everything, aren't you?"
Luo Feng squeezed her hand gently. "For the village. For all of us. One day we may need every blade we have."
The four of them walked back toward the Silver Lantern Inn under the midday sun, the ox-cart waiting to be loaded for the long journey home. Tomorrow at noon they would collect the final lightning-charged trident… and then the road back to Eden Village would truly begin.
