That incredibly comfortable pillow from that night seemed like a dream now; Andrew could never find that feeling again.
It wasn't the bolster pillow, nor was it the quilt.
Andrew even went to Ethan and the others' dorm room and tried all six of their pillows, but none of them felt right.
"Oh my god, Johnson, what is on your pillow? Why is it wet?"
Andrew disgustedly threw Johnson's pillow right back.
"Maybe it's the drool from when I sleep."
"Damn it, why didn't you say so earlier."
Andrew instantly felt a wave of nausea and quickly wiped his hand on Ethan's body next to him.
"Hey! Don't wipe yourself on me!"
"It's fine, you haven't showered anyway. We can just wash up together later."
"I &...% * ¥ # @"
Ethan desperately wanted to beat Andrew up, but the most important thing right now was to take a shower first.
"By the way, Andrew, why were you squeezing all of our pillows?" Johnson asked, confused.
"Nothing, just checking whose pillow was soft. I was planning to buy a new pillow, but yours are all too hard," Andrew replied casually, immediately sitting down on the chair belonging to his godson, Ethan, and relaxing comfortably.
The last few days of military training were very relaxed. Today was the second to last day. After rehearsing tomorrow's formation march, they were dismissed for rest.
He was still at school because Scarlett had asked him to wait a moment, saying she would be off work soon.
In the dorm room now, Stark was playing games while spouting profanities, and Tony had been completely hooked by a girl he met while gaming.
Andrew learned from Ethan that this girl was from the same school, which made Tony excited as if he had lost his mind talking to his mother.
The remaining three people, along with Andrew, were chatting. It started with beautiful women, and then somehow the topic shifted to Scarlett.
Bruce spoke first: "By the way, do you guys know? Our English teacher is super strict. I saw on the school confession wall that seniors said Scarlett's class is really easy to fail."
"Then aren't we doomed?"
"Actually, I think if I can have such a beautiful teacher teaching me, failing the class might not be unacceptable."
"Being good-looking is one thing, failing is another. Do you seriously not want to graduate?" Johnson's comment brought everyone back to reality.
"Scarlett is cold and aloof. I heard from a few seniors that she shows no mercy at all. If you're late, leave early, or make any other mistake, your usual participation score will be deducted directly, and it's very easy to get a failing grade."
As soon as he finished speaking, Stark, who had finished his game, immediately shouted, "Holy crap, isn't that screwing us over? I checked the class schedule; English class is all at 8 AM. I was planning to be late to sleep in a bit longer."
Ethan, who was showering in the bathroom, also stuck his soaking wet head out to join the fun, "I advise you all not to be late for her class. It's terrifying."
"Speaking of which, Ethan, why do I feel like you're quite afraid of Scarlett? Do you know her?"
"Know her? She substituted for us for a semester in high school. Andy and I have experienced how terrifying she is. I'm going back to my shower now. If you want to know anything else, ask Andy."
After speaking, Ethan retracted his head back into the bathroom to continue showering.
The remaining five people in the dorm room all looked uniformly toward Andrew, making him a bit awkward.
"Andrew, is Scarlett really as terrifying as Ethan says?"
If this question had been asked a few days ago, he would have admitted it without hesitation, but now, after the misunderstanding from a few nights ago was cleared up, Andrew no longer felt any fear or dread toward Scarlett.
"Actually, it's alright. She was harsh back then to push us for the college entrance exams. Teacher Scarlett is just a bit aloof normally; there's nothing else bad about her."
When the others heard this, they didn't doubt it, "I knew Ethan was exaggerating. How could such a beautiful professor possibly be terrifying?"
Tony excitedly added, "Besides, Professor Scarlett is so beautiful. Even if she's a bit harsh, I know she's definitely doing it for my own good."
"7."
However, this made Ethan lose his composure. He rushed out of the bathroom wearing only boxer shorts, not even drying his body, and frantically grabbed Andrew's arm.
"Andy, what nonsense are you spouting? Have you forgotten high school? Scarlett was scarier than our homeroom teacher; she didn't even make a sound when she walked."
"I didn't forget. What I said is the truth."
"Bullshit! Don't you remember she directly caused someone to drop out?"
"That was because that person needed surgery, so they only took a one-year leave. Also, put your pants on first."
Even though Andrew explained it this way, Ethan still didn't believe him. He shook Andrew's arm, shaking his body, "Andy, where did you hear this rumor? You can't be fooled by her charming appearance. You aren't Tony, that idiot."
Tony, "Hey, hey, hey, what do you mean? I'll sue you for defamation!"
Andrew pushed Ethan's hand away and said calmly, "It's not a rumor, it's a fact. I heard it from…"
Suddenly, Andrew stopped mid-sentence.
He originally wanted to say that Scarlett told him, but that would expose the fact that he was co-renting with her.
Scarlett clearly disliked being disturbed. If his loose tongue today led to rumors that affected her life, Andrew would feel he deserved to die.
"Anyway, it's not a rumor, it's a fact."
As soon as Andrew finished speaking, he received a message from Scarlett telling him to come to the car so they could go home. He left, leaving the six people in Ethan's dorm.
"Brother Tony, don't be so jumpy. Look, Andrew said Scarlett is just aloof."
"Nonsense! What benefit would I get from lying to you guys? Do I look like I'm lying?"
"That seems true."
For a moment, the five people other than Ethan had a vague and uncertain impression of Scarlett, unsure if she was truly terrifying or not.
On the other side, Andrew arrived next to Scarlett's car, opened the door, and sat inside.
Scarlett didn't rush to start the car; instead, she first asked him,
"Were you tired today?"
"Huh?"
Andrew was momentarily stunned. Why was she suddenly showing concern for him? Hadn't she never asked before?
He hesitated for a moment before answering, "Not tired, why?"
"Then you still have the energy to go shopping?"
"Yes?"
Andrew was even more bewildered, not knowing why Scarlett was asking this.
"Then can you cook tonight?"
"Huh????"
Andrew was dumbfounded. How did the topic suddenly turn to cooking?
"Can't?"
Scarlett looked at him, her tone still somewhat cold, but her gaze was much calmer now, without the previous iciness.
"Yes! Why are you asking?"
"I'm tired of takeout and the cafeteria. I want to eat the food you cook just once. If you can't, just forget it."
