Chapter 54 – The Return to the Set and the Conclusion of John Wick 2
March 1, 2016 – The Day After the Oscars
The Best Actor Oscar trophy gleamed on Jacob Stewart's desk.
It was a symbol of everything he had accomplished.
But instead of resting, he was ready to get back to work.
That morning, he woke up early, put on workout clothes, and headed straight to the set of "John Wick: Chapter 2".
The crew was already waiting for him, standing, and as soon as he arrived, everyone started applauding.
Chad Stahelski, the film's director, approached, smiling.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have an Oscar winner on set now!"
Jacob laughed and raised his hands.
"Stop it, people! John Wick doesn't have time for celebrations."
The stuntmen and technicians laughed, but they knew Jacob was serious.
He didn't want to be treated differently.
He was there to deliver the best possible performance and finish the film with excellence.
And so began one of the most intense months of his career.
March 2016 was a physical and mental test for Jacob.
The filming was exhausting.
He spent 12 to 14 hours a day on set, alternating between fight scenes, car chases, and frantic shootouts.
The first major sequence they filmed was a hand-to-hand combat in a marble bathroom, where John Wick faced three assassins at the same time.
Jacob trained for hours to ensure that every movement was precise and realistic.
At the end of the day, he was covered in bruises and sweat.
But he just smiled and looked at Chad.
"Can we do it again?"
Chad laughed and looked at the stunt coordinator, J.J. Perry.
"Does this guy never stop?"
J.J. laughed. — He's John Wick in real life.
The crew restarted the cameras and Jacob reshot the scene with the same intensity.
One of the most anticipated scenes in the film was a shootout in an underground club in Italy, where John Wick faced dozens of enemies with pistols, knives, and automatic rifles.
Jacob spent weeks training CQB (Close Quarters Battle) tactics with special operations specialists.
When it came time to film, he mastered the sequence with surgical precision.
He moved like a true professional, firing while moving, changing magazines quickly, and eliminating targets with brutal efficiency.
The film crew watched in awe.
Taran Butler, Jacob's shooting coach, smiled as he watched his performance on screen.
— Honestly, this guy could compete in any real shooting championship.
At the end of the scene, Chad shouted:
— CUT! Perfect, Jacob!
Jacob sighed, holstered his pistol, and smiled.
"I think Wick is ready to kill more people."
The entire crew burst into laughter.
Another epic moment from filming was a car chase shot through the streets of Rome.
Jacob trained with extreme driving instructors to perform the scenes without needing a stunt double.
In the scene, John Wick drove a classic muscle car while being chased by armed assassins, dodging bullets, drifting at high speed, and using the car itself as a weapon.
There were no special effects.
Jacob actually performed all the maneuvers.
After the scene, Chad approached, still impressed.
"Jacob… You're a lunatic. That was one of the best chases we've ever filmed."
Jacob smiled and unbuckled his seatbelt.
"I told you Wick doesn't accept stunt doubles."
The entire crew applauded again.
March flew by.
Jacob was exhausted, covered in cuts, bruises, and aching muscles.
But at the same time, he felt more alive than ever.
He knew he was delivering something special to the franchise's fans.
Finally, the last week of filming arrived, in April.
The final scene was filmed in an old, abandoned cathedral in Italy.
It was the climax of the film, where John Wick faced his final enemy in an intense duel.
Jacob held a silenced pistol, his clothes torn, and his face covered in fake blood.
He looked at the camera and prepared himself.
Chad shouted:
— Action!
And then…
John Wick fought like never before.
Each punch, each shot, was charged with pure intensity.
When Chad finally yelled "CUT!", silence filled the set.
And then, applause erupted.
John Wick: Chapter 2 was officially filmed.
Jacob took a deep breath, feeling immense relief.
Chad approached and hugged Jacob.
"You did it, man. You just elevated this franchise to a new level."
Jacob smiled.
"Now it's time for the fans to see what we've prepared for them."
The crew celebrated with champagne on set, and Jacob felt that this film would be something grand.
He had closed another epic chapter of his career.
And now, it was time to rest… at least for a while.
Chapter 55 – Well-Deserved Vacation and the Coachella Party
April 2016 – The Beginning of the Vacation
After months of intense filming for John Wick: Chapter 2, Jacob Stewart finally had a moment to breathe.
It was April, and he was officially on vacation.
No rehearsals, no grueling action scenes, no fight choreography, and no need to train with weapons daily.
And what better way to celebrate?
Coachella.
The legendary music festival in the California desert was the perfect place to relax, enjoy, and have fun without worries.
And he knew that, besides the music and parties, he would be surrounded by beautiful women, celebrities, and friends from the entertainment industry.
So, he packed his bags and set off for a weekend that promised to be unforgettable.
Jacob arrived in Indio, California, on a private jet, accompanied by some Hollywood friends.
As soon as he landed, the dry desert heat hit his face, and he smiled.
He was ready to party.
Wearing a tight white t-shirt, ripped jeans, leather boots, and Ray-Ban sunglasses, he already looked like a rock star.
He went straight to a VIP house rented by some celebrities, where he met old acquaintances.
As soon as he entered the luxurious mansion, he was greeted by a tight hug from Leonardo DiCaprio.
"Jacob! The man of the moment! Finally decided to enjoy life a little?"
Jacob laughed, grabbing a beer from the table.
"I deserve it, right?"
Jennifer Lawrence appeared out of nowhere and put an arm around him.
"Oh, if it isn't the Oscar winner! Let's see if you can have as much fun as you can act."
Jacob raised his bottle and winked.
"Challenge accepted."
The night had barely begun, and he already knew it would be legendary.
Jacob and his friends went to the festival's VIP area, a space reserved for the biggest names in Hollywood and music.
The place was filled with luxurious tents, an open bar, and access to the best shows of the event.
Jacob walked among the celebrities, greeting friends like Kendall Jenner, Hailey Baldwin, The Weeknd, Drake, Gigi Hadid, and Chris Hemsworth.
That's when he smelled a familiar perfume.
He turned and saw Rihanna, wearing short denim shorts and a tight top, mirrored sunglasses, and a provocative smile.
"Look who decided to come out of hiding!" she said, laughing.
Jacob smiled and hugged her.
"And you, are you going to teach me how to enjoy the festival the right way?"
She took his hand and pulled him towards the stage.
"Come with me, darling. You'll learn from the best."
Jacob was in the VIP front row, while the stage exploded with lights and energy.
The sound of guitars and heavy beats filled the air, the crowd screamed, and the vibrations from the speakers made his heart race. He felt the adrenaline rush through his body.
There, surrounded by friends and beautiful people, he felt more alive than ever.
Beyoncé appeared out of nowhere and approached him, whispering in his ear with a smile.
"Jacob, can you dance or can you only fight?"
He laughed.
"I think I'll have to prove it to you."
She took his hand and began to dance to the rhythm of the music, and soon others began to join in.
It was a perfect chaos of partying, music, and lust.
After the shows, Jacob was taken to a private party inside the festival, accessible only to VIP guests.
The place was a true oasis in the middle of the desert, with illuminated pools, luxurious cabanas, and a bar serving the best drinks in California.
He grabbed an aged whiskey and walked around the place, observing everything.
That's when Taylor Swift appeared beside him, holding a glass of champagne and smiling.
"You know, Jacob…" she began, leaning closer to him. "You've been getting a lot of attention lately."
Jacob smiled slightly.
"Is that good or bad?"
She laughed.
"That's… interesting."
Before he could answer, Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin arrived together, both with provocative looks.
Kendall ran her hand across his chest and smiled.
"So, Oscar winner… How about having a night you'll never forget?"
Hailey moved closer, biting her lip.
"I guess he doesn't have a choice, does he?"
Jacob just smiled and finished his whiskey in one gulp.
"Well… Let's find out."
The sun rose slowly on the desert horizon, bathing the landscape in golden hues.
Jacob woke up in his VIP suite, the soft linen sheets wrapped around his body.
He glanced to the side and saw Kendall, Hailey, and Taylor asleep around him.
The night had been absolutely legendary.
He smiled to himself and ran a hand over his face.
This was what it meant to live at the top.
He wasn't just a famous actor.
He was a living legend.
And with that, he knew…
His vacation was just beginning.
