Chapter 34 - Chapter 64-65

Chapter 64 – Planning the Vogue Cover

May 2, 2016 – The Decisive Meeting

The morning sun illuminated Los Angeles, and Jacob Stewart was already up, sipping his black coffee while reading the day's headlines.

As expected, his appearance at the Met Gala was all over the newspapers and entertainment websites.

But what really caught his attention was a Vogue article that mentioned his name.

Vogue Magazine – "The New Male Icon?"

"Jacob Stewart stole the spotlight at the 2016 Met Gala, wearing an impeccable Giorgio Armani tuxedo. But, more than his presence at the event, sources indicate that editor-in-chief Anna Wintour is interested in bringing him to the cover of Vogue. If that happens, Stewart will solidify his position as one of the most influential men in the fashion world today."

Jacob smiled slightly.

This was real.

And today, he would finalize the details.

He finished his coffee, put on a blue dress shirt and jeans, grabbed his car keys, and drove to his agent's office, Richard Calloway.

Richard Calloway's office was modern and minimalist, located in one of Beverly Hills' most luxurious buildings.

As soon as Jacob entered, Richard was already waiting with an euphoric expression.

"Jacob, my friend, do you realize what's happening?! You're about to be the face of Vogue! This is HUGE!"

Jacob smiled and sat down in the chair facing him.

"Yes, I know. That's why we're here, right? To sort everything out."

Richard picked up an elegant white card with gold lettering, the same one Anna Wintour had given Jacob at the Met Gala.

He held the phone and looked at Jacob.

"Ready to talk to the most powerful woman in fashion?"

Jacob shrugged, relaxed.

"Let's go."

Richard dialed the number and put it on speakerphone.

The phone rang three times before a refined voice answered.

— Anna Wintour speaking.

Richard straightened up immediately.

— Good morning, Anna. This is Richard Calloway, Jacob Stewart's agent. He's here with me.

Jacob interjected casually and confidently.

— Good morning, Anna. I hope you're well. I've thought a lot about your proposal and I think it's something I want to do.

On the other end of the line, Anna smiled, clearly pleased.

— I'm happy to hear that, Jacob. Vogue wants you in our next issue. And, if you're available… we'd like to do the photoshoot as soon as possible.

Richard exchanged a quick glance with Jacob and then replied.

— What do you think about tomorrow?

Anna didn't hesitate.

— Tomorrow is perfect. Vogue Studio, New York. 10 a.m. I'll be waiting for you.

Jacob smiled.

— Then see you tomorrow, Anna.

The call ended.

Richard slammed his hands on the table, excited.

"Jacob, you just landed a Vogue cover in LESS THAN 24 HOURS! That's historic!"

Jacob laughed.

"Well, now we just need to make sure I look like a real model, right?"

Richard picked up the phone again.

"Leave that to me. I'll call the Armani team to get the looks ready for the photoshoot. You just need to get a good night's sleep and be ready tomorrow."

Jacob stood up, grabbed his car keys, and left the office.

Tomorrow, he would be photographed for one of the world's most iconic magazines.

And he was ready for it.

Chapter 65 – The Day of the Vogue Cover Shoot

May 3, 2016 – The Vogue Studio in New York

The clock struck 9:30 a.m., and Jacob Stewart had just arrived at the Vogue studio in New York.

The building's entrance was bustling, with stylists, photographers, and assistants rushing to and fro, adjusting the final details for the most anticipated photoshoot of the year.

Jacob stepped out of the limousine wearing a black button-down shirt open at the top, slim-fit jeans, and Italian leather boots.

But that wouldn't be his main look.

He went straight to the dressing room, where his team was already waiting for him.

Inside the studio, fashion legend Anna Wintour was already waiting for him.

With her iconic sunglasses and impeccable posture, she analyzed him from head to toe.

— Punctuality. Natural elegance. This only confirms to me that we made the right choice.

Jacob smiled and shook her hand.

"Thank you for giving me this opportunity, Anna."

She simply gave a discreet nod.

"Now we're going to transform you into the definition of the modern man."

And then, the transformation began.

The Giorgio Armani team had prepared three exclusive looks for Jacob, custom-made for this special shoot.

The brand's head designer, Giovanni Sartori, brought the suits and smiled when he saw Jacob.

"Finally, a man who wears a suit as if he were born for it."

Jacob laughed.

"I'll take that as a compliment."

Giovanni pointed to the first suit, a black Italian velvet tuxedo with subtle satin details.

"This will be the main look. The idea is to convey sophistication and strength at the same time."

Jacob put on the tuxedo, adjusted the lapel, and looked at himself in the mirror.

He looked like a real secret agent.

Anna Wintour approached and analyzed the suit with a critical eye.

— Yes. This is perfect.

She turned to Vogue's lead photographer, Mario Testino, and said:

— Let's start with this one.

Jacob took a deep breath.

It was time to shine.

The studio was lit with professional lights, high-definition cameras, and a minimalist set that highlighted Jacob and his unique presence.

Mario Testino, one of the most renowned photographers in the fashion world, picked up his camera and positioned himself.

— Okay, Jacob, I want you to forget you're being photographed. Just relax and be yourself.

Jacob nodded and began to pose.

First series of photos: Him sitting on a black leather sofa, legs crossed, holding a glass of whiskey as if he were on a sophisticated night in a luxury hotel.

Second series: Standing, adjusting his tie while looking directly at the camera, exuding confidence.

Third series: In a gray Armani overcoat, walking through the studio as if he were going to a gala event. Mario paused for a moment and looked at Anna.

"This man isn't just an actor. He has presence. He belongs in this world."

Anna simply smiled.

She knew this from the moment she saw him at the Met Gala.

After several photos from different angles and lighting, Mario Testino finally lowered the camera and smiled.

"We have the cover."

The team applauded discreetly.

Jacob knew that this moment was special.

But the session wasn't over yet.

Now, it was time for the interview.

After changing clothes and putting on a navy blue Armani blazer, Jacob was led to a room decorated with leather sofas and an elegant coffee table.

A Vogue journalist, Emily Carter, sat down in front of him, with a recorder on the table and a notepad in her hands.

She smiled and began.

"Jacob, it's an honor to interview you. You are one of the most talked-about men in the world right now."

Jacob laughed, relaxed.

"I don't know if this is good or bad, but I'm glad to be here."

Emily crossed her legs and looked at him intently.

"Let's start with the basics. Who is Jacob Stewart off-screen?"

Jacob thought for a moment before answering.

"A normal guy. Someone who loves to work out, spend time with my dog Lucky, compete in shooting sports, and now, learn Jiu-Jitsu."

Emily smiled.

"That brings me to my next question. You're not just an actor. You're a sharpshooter, now you're training Jiu-Jitsu, and you're still considered one of the best-dressed men in the world. Do you feel like you're redefining what it means to be a Hollywood star?"

Jacob leaned forward, reflecting.

"I don't know if I'm redefining anything, but I like being authentic. I've always admired guys like Steve McQueen, who not only acted but had an interesting lifestyle off-screen." I don't do these things for image, I do them because I love them.

Emily jotted something down in her notepad and then smiled before asking:

"Speaking of style, Giorgio Armani made you one of the faces of the brand. What's it like being one of the icons of men's fashion today?"

Jacob gave a slight smile.

"To be honest, I never imagined I'd be in this world. But fashion is more than about clothes. It's about how you present yourself to the world. And Giorgio Armani understands that perfectly.

Emily nodded, impressed by Jacob's maturity.

She then turned the page of the notepad.

"Last question. What can we expect from Jacob Stewart in the coming years?"

Jacob took a deep breath and smiled.

"Many things. I want to continue exploring my acting career, expand my skills in shooting sports and martial arts. And who knows… maybe direct a film in the future."

Emily raised her eyebrows.

"Direct? That would be incredible. Any genre ideas?"

Jacob laughed.

"I think everyone would expect an action film, right? But I also love psychological thrillers. Let's see what the future holds."

Emily turned off the recorder and smiled.

"Jacob, that was one of the most authentic interviews I've ever done. Thank you so much for your time."

Jacob shook her hand and smiled.

— The pleasure was all mine.

The following week, Vogue officially released the cover of the issue featuring Jacob Stewart.

The image was perfect.

Jacob, wearing a black Armani tuxedo, sat on a leather sofa, looking directly at the camera with intensity.

The cover title read:

"Jacob Stewart – The Man Everyone Wants to Be"

The internet exploded.

The issue sold out in less than 48 hours, becoming one of the best-selling issues of men's Vogue.

Jacob Stewart was no longer just a movie star.

Now, he was an icon of style, action, and modern masculinity.

And, deep down, he knew…

This was just the beginning of something even bigger.
