Chapter 26 - Chapter 24 the revised decision

Chapter — The Revised Negotiation

(Jay's POV)

Morning sunlight filtered through the tall glass windows of my office, spreading across the polished floor and the large desk where several files were neatly arranged.

I sat quietly in my chair, reviewing a stack of financial reports from J & Elvara Global.

Numbers.

Contracts.

Profit charts.

Every page told a story about the company's future.

It had been a long time since I personally sat inside this office and worked through documents like this. For almost a year and a half, I had stayed away from the company building.

But now I was back....

And things had already begun moving faster than before.

I turned another page of the report when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in."

The door opened and Ellie stepped inside, holding a tablet and a thick blue file.

She closed the door behind her and walked toward my desk.

"Jay," she said.

I looked up from the documents.

Ellie never called me boss.

Never ma'am.

From the day she started working with me, I had told her clearly that titles were unnecessary.

Only a few people in the world knew who truly controlled J & Elvara Global, and Ellie was one of them.

"What is it?" I asked.

She placed the blue file on my desk.

"Jay-Jay, the revised documents you asked for from Watson Enterprises have arrived."

I leaned forward slightly.

"They finished the financial corrections?"

"Yes."

Ellie opened the folder and slid several papers toward me.

"They adjusted the expansion rate, updated the investment ratio, and corrected the logistics projections."

I quickly scanned the pages.

The revised documents looked much better than the original proposal.

They had actually listened.

Interesting.....

Ellie continued speaking.

"They also requested another meeting today."

I looked up again.

"A meeting?"

She nodded.

"They want to finalize the revised agreement between J & 'Elvara Global and Watson Enterprises. "

Of course they did.

Companies like Watson Enterprises preferred to close negotiations quickly once both sides began agreeing on the numbers.

"When?" I asked.

"In about thirty minutes."

I closed the file slowly.

"And they asked for the strategist who suggested the corrections to attend."

Ellie raised an eyebrow slightly.

"That means Roselia."

A small smile appeared on my face.

"Yes," I said quietly.

ROSELIA.

The identity I used whenever I attended corporate meetings where my real identity had to remain hidden.

I stood up and walked toward the mirror near the wall.

The woman staring back at me did not look like Jay-Jay.

Heavy makeup subtly changed the structure of my face.

Long dramatic eyelashes made my eyes appear different.

And the gray contact lenses completely hid my natural eye color.

Even my hairstyle was different today.

Anyone who had seen me before would hesitate before recognizing me.

And that hesitation was enough.

"Let's go," I said.

The conference room on the third floor was already occupied when Ellie and I arrived.

Executives from Watson Enterprises sat on one side of the long table.

Five of them.

The finance director.

The legal advisor.

The operations strategist.

Two analysts.

And near the end of the table sat a man quietly writing in a notebook.

Keifer.

He looked up briefly when we entered.

His gaze moved across the room before returning to his notes.

Observant.

Quiet.

Exactly like he had been during the previous meeting.

Ellie and I took our seats along the side of the table.

Just another pair of executives from J & Elvara Global.

Nothing more.

The chairman cleared his throat.

"Let's begin."

The finance director from Watson Enterprises connected his laptop to the screen.

"Thank you for meeting with us again so quickly."

A new presentation appeared.

"This is the revised proposal based on the recommendations discussed during our previous meeting."

Graphs filled the screen.

Updated profit projections.

Adjusted investment distributions.

Corrected logistics models.

I opened the documents Ellie handed me and began reviewing them carefully.

They had improved several sections.

But one clause still needed attention.

The presentation ended after a few minutes.

"That concludes the revisions," the finance director said.

The room fell silent.

Everyone began reviewing the printed documents.

Finally the chairman spoke.

"Any comments?"

I raised my hand slightly.

"Yes?" he said.

I tapped the contract page in front of me.

"The revised projections are much stronger."

The Watson executives relaxed slightly.

But then I continued.

"However, the phase-two investment structure still creates imbalance."

The operations strategist frowned.

"What kind of imbalance?"

I slid the paper forward.

"Watson Enterprises still holds a majority share in the infrastructure investment."

"That's because we're providing the logistics network," one analyst replied.

"Yes," I said calmly.

"But J & Elvara Global is providing the technology system that manages the network."

The room grew thoughtful.

The strategist leaned back slightly.

"What adjustment would you recommend?"

Before I could answer, he turned toward the end of the table.

"Keifer."

Keifer stopped writing and looked up.

"Check the balance ratio."

He opened his laptop and quickly ran the numbers.

The room waited.

After a moment he spoke.

"If the investment ratio changes to forty-five percent for Watson and fifty-five percent for J & Elvara Global, the structure becomes balanced."

The analysts quickly verified the calculation.

"He's right," one of them said.

The finance director nodded slowly.

"That adjustment is acceptable."

The chairman looked satisfied.

"Then we'll include that change."

Pens moved across documents as the correction was added.

The meeting continued for another twenty minutes as both companies finalized the revised agreement.

Finally the finance director closed his laptop.

"That completes the revisions."

People began gathering their papers.

Chairs moved slightly as the meeting ended.

I closed my folder and stood up.

Just as I turned toward the door, someone approached.

Keifer.

He stopped beside my chair.

"Excuse me."

I looked up at him.

"Yes?"

"I believe you were the one who suggested the financial corrections during the previous meeting."

"Yes."

He studied my face carefully and looked into my eyes, for a moment, I forgot that for him

I am not Jay-Jay.

For a brief moment I wondered if the makeup or contacts had somehow failed.

But his expression remained calm.

"I don't think we were introduced," he said.

The room around us buzzed with quiet conversation as people prepared to leave.

"What is your name ?"

The question hung in the air for a moment.

Ellie glanced toward me from across the room.

I kept my expression neutral.

"My name is Roselia," I said smoothly.

The name sounded natural.

As if it truly belonged to me.

Keifer repeated it quietly.

"Roselia."

He nodded once.

"You have a strong understanding of financial strategy."

"Thank you."

He closed his notebook.

"Your suggestions improved the proposal."

"That was the goal."

For a moment he looked at me again.

Not suspicious.

But thoughtful.

Then someone from Watson Enterprises called him.

"Keifer, we're leaving."

He turned slightly before looking back at me.

"Well, it was nice meeting you, Roselia."

"You too."

He gave a small nod before walking toward the door with the rest of his team.

Ellie waited until the room was nearly empty before approaching me.

"That was close," she whispered.

" I'll tell the board to be more careful. "(^_^)

I exhaled slowly.

"Yes."

Ellie lowered her voice.

"Do you think he recognized you?"

I shook my head.

"No."

But deep inside, I wasn't completely certain.

Because when Keifer had looked at me

earlier…

There had been a brief moment where his eyes narrowed slightly.

As if something about my face seemed familiar.

Still, my identity remained safe.

To him…

To the world 🌎....

To my family... only Aries knows about and I also know he is my hand brother, he told Mr about it , yes , we talk but in front Angelo and the others , we pretend to hate each other, bcz we want to see , for how much time will our family keep the truth from us .😏🤔

To everyone in the building.....

To Section E ...

I wasn't Jay-Jay.

I wasn't the hidden CEO of J & Elvara Global.

I was simply a strategist named Roselia.

And for now—

That secret remained perfectly hidden.
