Chapter 29 - Chapter 27 the mansion (part 1)

Chapter: The Mansion They Bought Without Telling Me (Part 1)

Jay-Jay's POV

The next morning in London began far too peacefully.

Which was suspicious.

I sat near the tall hotel window with a cup of coffee, reviewing financial files from J & Elvara Global on my tablet.

Outside, London's skyline looked calm and grey under the winter sky.

For once, nobody in the suite was shouting.

Nobody was arguing.

Nobody had broken something.

That alone made me uneasy.

Right on cue—

BANG.

The suite door flew open so violently it hit the wall.

I didn't even bother looking up.

"What exploded this time?" I asked calmly.

Percy's voice echoed through the room.

"Baby sistah!"

I sighed and finally looked up.

Percy stood dramatically in the doorway like a celebrity entering a red-carpet event.

Black sunglasses.

Perfectly styled hair.

White shirt tucked neatly into expensive trousers.

Behind him stood Sebastian, Aurora, Chloe, and Leo.

I stared at Percy.

"Why are you dressed like you're about to attend the Met Gala?"

Percy gasped like I had insulted his entire bloodline.

"Excuse me?"

Sebastian walked past him holding a cereal bowl.

"He woke up at six in the morning just to fix his hair."

Percy glared.

"Perfection requires discipline."

Aurora dropped onto the couch beside me.

"Anyway, get ready."

"For what?"

Leo tossed a set of car keys into the air.

"We're going somewhere."

I narrowed my eyes.

"Where?"

Percy placed a hand over his chest dramatically.

"To your new home."

My brain paused.

"…What?"

Sebastian grinned.

"The mansion."

Oh , yes I forgot, my memory is becoming like of a goldfish .bcz of these idiots. 🙄

I stared at them slowly.

"You people bought a mansion."

Everyone nodded proudly.

"You bought a mansion."

More nodding.

I put my coffee down carefully.

"You bought a mansion… without telling me."

Percy smiled proudly.

"It was a surprise."

I grabbed the nearest pillow and threw it at him.

"You spent millions on a surprise?!"

Percy dodged instantly.

"BABY SISTAH! Don't touch my handsome face!"

He rushed to the mirror beside the wall and inspected his hair.

"You don't know how long it takes to settle this hair with my beautiful hands."

Sebastian nearly choked laughing.

Leo rubbed his forehead.

"Let's leave before she kills someone."

Forty minutes later we were driving through London.

I sat in the back seat beside Aurora, arms crossed.

"If that house looks ugly, I'm selling it."

Sebastian turned around from the front seat.

"You won't."

"Why?"

Leo answered calmly while driving.

"Because the backyard alone is bigger than your office floor."

I stared at him.

"…What?"

Aurora grinned.

"Just wait."

Ten minutes later the cars slowed as we turned onto a quiet private road surrounded by tall trees.

Then the mansion appeared.

And I froze.

It looked like something from an architectural magazine.

A massive modern glass mansion stood ahead, glowing softly under the morning light.

Multiple floors of sleek white stone and glass.

Long terraces and balconies stretching across the structure.

A stunning reflective courtyard pool at the center.

In front of the mansion lay a long infinity pool surrounded by lounge chairs.

The gardens around the property were perfectly landscaped.

It looked less like a house and more like a luxury resort.

I stepped out of the car slowly.

"…You bought a billionaire headquarters."

Percy spread his arms proudly.

"Welcome home."

I stared at the mansion.

"How much did this cost?"

Suddenly everyone became very interested in the clouds.

I turned to Percy.

"How much."

Percy cleared his throat.

"…Around forty or forty five million."

I blinked.

"…WHAT?"

Sebastian raised both hands.

"In our defense, it was discounted."

I pointed at the mansion.

"THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT BETTER!"

Percy flipped his hair.

"Relax baby sistah. It's an investment."

Aurora grabbed my arm.

"Come on."

The front doors opened quietly.

The moment I stepped inside, I stopped walking.

The entrance hall was enormous.

A grand double-height space stretched upward, with polished marble floors reflecting warm golden light.

Above us hung a breathtaking chandelier made of dozens of glowing glass spheres suspended from the ceiling.

The light scattered across the marble like stars.

In the center of the hall sat a huge luxury seating arrangement of soft white sofas forming a square around a modern glass table.

Behind it stood a sleek bar counter and an open kitchen finished in dark marble and wood.

Massive glass walls revealed the outdoor pool and gardens.

The entire place felt like a luxury hotel.

I turned slowly.

"…You bought a palace."

Sebastian spread his arms proudly.

"Nice, right?"

Leo leaned against the wall casually.

"It had good reviews."

Aurora laughed.

"You should have seen Percy when he first walked in."

Percy glared.

"I was appreciating the architecture."

Sebastian grinned.

"You screamed louder than Aurora."

"I DID NOT!"

"You did."

Percy pointed accusingly.

"You're jealous of my appreciation for beauty."

Sebastian laughed.

"No, I'm jealous of your hair."

Percy instantly ran to check his reflection in a glass panel.

"Is it okay?"

Aurora groaned.

"Oh my god."

We moved toward the living hall.

The room was breathtaking.

The sofas formed a massive seating area perfect for large gatherings.

The marble walls and golden lights created a warm luxurious glow.

Huge glass windows opened toward the infinity pool outside.

Chloe spun slowly in the middle of the room.

"This place is insane."

Leo nodded.

"There's more."

Sebastian pointed toward the backyard.

"Come see the pool."

The moment we stepped outside, I understood what he meant earlier.

The infinity pool stretched across the back of the mansion like a blue mirror.

Beyond it the landscaped garden extended across the property with stone pathways, trees, and soft lights hidden in the ground.

It looked like something from a luxury resort advertisement.

Sebastian grinned.

"First person to jump in wins."

Before anyone could react—

SPLASH.

Sebastian dove straight into the pool fully clothed.

Aurora screamed laughing.

Chloe clapped.

Leo shook his head.

Percy looked horrified.

"YOU IDIOT!"

Sebastian surfaced laughing.

"The water's warm!"

Percy pointed dramatically.

"Do you know how expensive that pool is?!"

Sebastian leaned on the edge.

"Relax."

Percy crossed his arms.

"You're banned from the mansion."

Sebastian grinned.

"You don't own it."

Percy looked at me.

"Baby sistah, ban him."

I sighed.

"Get out of the pool."

Sebastian climbed out, completely soaked.

Aurora laughed harder.

"This place is going to be chaos."

And for the first time since arriving in London…

I actually smiled.

Maybe they were insane.

But somehow—

This ridiculous mansion already felt like home.
