Chapter 32 - Chapter 30 the chaotic shopping day ( part 2 )

Jay-Jay's POV

By the time we left the mask boutique, Percy was carrying three shopping bags in each hand and still complaining like the world had personally offended him.

"This is unacceptable."

Sebastian walked beside him casually.

"You bought half the store."

Percy flipped his hair.

"That is not the issue."

Leo raised an eyebrow.

"Then what is?"

Percy stopped dramatically in the middle of the sidewalk.

"No one appreciated my fashion sense."

Aurora groaned.

"Oh my god."

Chloe laughed.

"You literally approved everyone's outfits like a judge."

Percy nodded proudly.

"Yes."

Sebastian shook his head.

"You act like you own a fashion empire."

Aurora chimed in "I own , who's asking "

I said "your boyfriend....who follows you like a lost puppy "

Everyone laughed at that , and Aurora's face turned crimson red .

Percy looked offended.

"My style alone could build one."

I sighed and kept walking.

London's evening lights were slowly beginning to glow across the streets.

Luxury stores illuminated the sidewalks with golden lighting, while the glass windows reflected the city's movement.

Aurora suddenly grabbed Chloe's arm.

"Wait."

Chloe looked confused.

"What?"

Aurora pointed toward another boutique.

"Tailoring."

Sebastian groaned loudly.

"No."

Percy nodded seriously.

"Yes."

Leo sighed.

"This day is never ending."

The tailoring studio inside the boutique looked quiet and elegant.

Soft lighting illuminated rows of mirrors while mannequins displayed luxury gowns and suits.

A stylist approached us politely.

"Good evening."

Aurora smiled.

"We need adjustments."

Percy immediately stepped forward like a celebrity.

"Yes."

He pointed at himself.

"Priority client."

Sebastian whispered to Leo,

"He's going to ask for a throne next."

Percy ignored them.

"Perfect fitting is essential."

Aurora disappeared behind the fitting room curtain first.

A few minutes later she stepped out wearing her gown.

The silver and grey dress shimmered under the lights like moonlight.

The thin straps rested elegantly over her shoulders while the fabric flowed smoothly down to the floor..

Sebastian blinked.

"…Okay wow."

Chloe nodded.

"That looks amazing."

Percy walked around her like a fashion inspector.

"Turn."

Aurora rolled her eyes but spun once.

Percy nodded thoughtfully.

"Yes."

Aurora crossed her arms.

"Yes what?"

Percy smiled.

"Approved."

Sebastian laughed.

"You really think your opinion matters."

Percy gasped dramatically.

"My opinion defines beauty."

Aurora shook her head.

"You're impossible."

Next Chloe stepped out.

The peach and pink gown looked even better when worn.

The soft peach skirt flowed elegantly while the upper part of the dress blended into a delicate pink shade.

Aurora clapped.

"Chloe!"

Chloe twirled slightly.

"What do you think?"

Sebastian whistled.

"That's actually perfect."

Percy nodded seriously.

"The color combination is excellent."

Chloe grinned.

"And my peach Louboutins will match perfectly.and Jay what do you think ."

"It's perfect " I said .

Aurora laughed.

"You planned that from the beginning."

Chloe shrugged proudly.

"Obviously."

Finally the stylist turned to me.

"Miss?"

I took the wine-red gown and stepped into the fitting room.

The soft fabric slid smoothly over my shoulders.

The off-shoulder design framed the neckline perfectly while the deep red color looked powerful and elegant.

When I stepped out of the fitting room, the room went quiet.

Aurora's eyes widened slightly.

"Jay…"

Chloe smiled slowly.

"That's the one."

Sebastian leaned against the wall watching.

"Okay."

Percy stared at me like he had just witnessed a miracle.

Then he placed a hand over his heart.

"Baby sistah."

"Yes?"

"You just destroyed everyone."

Sebastian laughed.

"Relax."

Percy shook his head.

"No."

He pointed at me dramatically.

"That dress is illegal."

Aurora nodded.

"He's right."

Chloe crossed her arms.

"Completely unfair."

I looked at them.

"Is that a compliment?"

Sebastian shrugged.

"Yeah."

Leo nodded calmly.

"It suits you."

The stylist began adjusting the gowns carefully.

Pins moved quickly along the fabric while measurements were taken.

Meanwhile the boys were dragged toward the suit section.

Sebastian grabbed the first coat he saw.

"This one."

Percy nearly fainted.

"No."

Sebastian frowned.

"What?"

Percy pointed dramatically.

"That suit looks like something a taxi driver would wear."

Sebastian stared at him.

"You're unbelievable."

Leo walked toward a rack and picked up a sleek black suit.

"This."

Sebastian nodded.

"Good."

Percy examined it carefully.

"Acceptable."

Sebastian groaned.

"Stop approving things.

Percy flipped his hair.

"Someone must maintain standards."

Twenty minutes later the fitting session ended.

Shopping bags filled with gowns, heels, masks, and suits surrounded us.

Aurora stretched her arms.

"That took forever."

Chloe laughed.

"But it was worth it."

Sebastian grabbed several bags.

"I feel like we robbed a store."

Percy corrected him.

"We elevated the fashion industry."

Leo sighed.

"Let's go home."

The drive back to the mansion was quieter than the morning.

Everyone looked tired but satisfied.

Aurora leaned her head back against the seat.

"I'm excited for the masquerade."

Chloe nodded.

"It's going to be insane."

Sebastian smirked.

"Imagine the reactions."

Percy smiled proudly.

"They will be speechless."

Leo looked at him.

"Why?"

Percy pointed toward the girls.

"Look at them."

Aurora laughed.

"Okay fair."

When we arrived back at the mansion, the evening sky had turned dark.

City lights shimmered across the horizon.

Inside the living hall, shopping bags were dropped across the couches like trophies.

Sebastian collapsed onto the sofa.

"I'm never shopping again."

Percy sat down carefully beside him.

"You say that now."

Sebastian pointed at him.

"If you drag me into another store tomorrow

—"

Percy interrupted.

"Tomorrow we organize the wardrobe."

Sebastian stared at him.

"You're joking."

Percy smiled.

"I never joke about fashion."

Aurora burst out laughing.

"Poor Sebastian."

Chloe grabbed her mask from one of the bags.

"29th is going to be interesting."

Leo crossed his arms.

"Yes."

Sebastian looked at everyone.

"So let me get this straight."

He pointed around the room.

"Wine-red queen."

He pointed at me.

"Silver baddie."

Aurora laughed.

"Peach princess."

Chloe threw a pillow at him.

"And us?"

Percy stood dramatically.

"Kings."

Sebastian smirked.

"Masked kings."

Percy nodded proudly.

"Yes."

He looked around the mansion.

"And 29th 's night…"

He smiled confidently.

"…London won't know what hit it."

.....

I will post the dresses on the day of the party.
