On the University Rooftop
After what had happened in the cafeteria, Shion felt she needed some quiet, so she quietly went up to the university rooftop, where the fresh air and wide-open sky offered a brief escape. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to forget the whispers and laughter of the students below.
Suddenly, the rooftop door swung open dramatically, its hinges letting out an annoying screech. Shiyoung stepped inside without Shion noticing, then closed the door behind him.
Shion (trying to open the door): "What is this?! The door won't open!"
(She steps back, shouting) "Is anyone there? The door won't open!"
(She hears a familiar laugh from behind, then turns to see Shiyoung)
Shiyoung (with a mocking smile): "You don't know how to open a door... but you know how to kick me hard, don't you?"
(He tries the door but fails) "Stupid door!"
Shion (sarcastically): "The door is stupid? Or are you the stupid one?"
(Both sit down after giving up on the door, thinking of a way out.)
Shion (teasingly): "What if we just jump from here?"
Shiyoung (shocked): "What?! We're on the seventh floor! Do you have seven lives and want to waste them? Are you crazy?"
Shion (laughing): "I was joking."
Hours of silence pass... until the sound of the door opening breaks the quiet.
Max enters loudly, laughing and pointing at them:
Max: "I can't believe my eyes! What are you doing here, Shiyoung, with Shion?"
Shiyoung explodes in frustration: "Shut up, Max!!!"
Jay rushes in, clearly worried:
Jay: "Shion! What are you doing here? You scared me!"
Shion (with a light smile): "It's not my fault... we got stuck together... that's all."
