3rd person POV
It was another day of school, as usual Ayanokouji goes to his seat as Katagiri greets him like usual. It was just like any other day until Karma spoke.
Karma: guys have any of you gotten any points yet?
Everyone heard Karma and they were all eyes and ears on him.
Kirigaya: I haven't yet
Shirogane: same here
Light: This is a bit strange; is there some sort of delay?
Ryuzaki: That could be the case.
As everyone was talking about why there were no points given, Shigeru-sensei arrived.
Shigeru: Good morning class, I have some bad news.
Tatsuya: I'm guessing this has something to do with why none of us have gotten any points yet.
Shigeru: You are correct Tatsuya, there has been a delay in the distribution of points due to some unfortunate events.
Yuuki: What kind of unfortunate events?
Shigeru: I don't know just yet but until it is resolved, for now there will be no points distributed.
Everyone was disappointed at the news but for now they all decide to wait until something happens.

"I heard they took quite the beating"
"kuku, of course they did or at least that's what they're going to think"
I'm currently meeting with Ryuen on the rooftop. I must say, his use of violence is intriguing. I could've thought of that myself if I wanted to.
"Are you really going to betray this class of yours?" Ryuen asked
"Of course, I am but not yet. I want to see them sink into despair slowly, but it seems that you're already doing it for me"
"Did I do a good job?" he said with a smirk
"Yes, when I checked out the building myself. It is quite the stunt you pulled there with those little minions of yours"
"But seriously, you're not planning to destroy Class D fully?" I asked
"Just like you said, I want to see Class D suffer before I completely destroy them"
I looked back at him and laughed
"hahahaha, well you put on quite a show Ryuen but I'm sure you remember our little deal?"
"Of course, if I help you crush Class D then I'll offer my services to you in crushing Class S and Class A as well"
"With that said you know it will cost you a million points"
"I know, but don't worry" I said as I looked at my phone already containing 2,132,450 points.
"I'll pay you by the end of the week, besides..... "

Ayanokouji POV
It was another day of school. Those delay in distribution of points is quite unfortunate but either way that's nothing to think about too much. As I got inside the classroom, suddenly Karma walked up to me.
"Have you heard the news yet?" he asked
"What news?"
"Well do you know that red head guy who is from Class D" he asked.
"Wait you mean Sudo?"
"Yeah, that guy, I heard from a few sources that he got in trouble because he beat up a bunch of Class C students" I know he's quite violent sure, but I wonder what the reason behind this is.
"Not only that, but in one week's time they will hold a trial involving this Sudo as well the Class C students and the student council will be there as well" Lelouch explained.
"And depending how the trial goes, Class D might lose a hefty number of points"
So that's how it is huh? but I do want to know something, however.
"Where did the incident take place?" I asked
"It's in that special annex building" surprisingly Light answered.
"I didn't think of it at the time, but I noticed that the red head went into that building along with some students who I recognize is from Class C."
"So, you saw them yourself"
"Exactly but given the information that Karma gave; I think that there is a possibility that he was set up by those Class C students or Sudo instigated the fight himself." he said
"I do agree with you Light" Ryuzaki joins in.
"But unless we know what really went on there, we need substantial evidence of sort"
Both Light and Ryuzaki are both discussing about incident. They seemed pretty invested in this situation but now that I think about it. Both Light and Ryuzaki do share some commonalities in terms of dealing with crime.
"So you two are planning an investigation?" Karma asked with curiosity
"Yes, we need to get to the bottom of this. Whether Sudo is innocent or not. I think it would be better to find out" Ryuzaki said
"What about you Kiyotaka-kun are you joining them?" Karma asked
"I don't think so, besides I already saved Sudo once and I wouldn't want to bother with him for awhile"
"Well I do"
"If he was wronged by those students then I think it would be sufficient if we find out if he caused the situation or not."
"I do not stand for any injustice, and if there is an injustice among society then I'll be the one to deal with it" wow Light seems, enthusiastic if you call it like that. I get that he wants to be a detective in the future, but he sounds slightly obsessed with this bringing someone to justice business. But I don't want to judge, maybe that's just who he is.
"Well then why don't we investigate the building later Light."
Light nodded in agreement to Ryuzaki.
"I'll help as well if you don't mind" a voice was heard, and it was Akise.
"Sure, the more the merrier"

Light POV
Ryuzaki, Akise, and I are currently investigating clues about the situation that a student from Class D named Sudo got himself into. Now the building itself is usually empty. I remember myself and Ryuzaki going into this building in particular because what's peculiar about it is that there were no surveillance cameras in this place. This would've been the perfect place to commit a crime.
"You remember don't you Light?" Ryuzaki looked at me and asked a question
"Yes I do, looks like whichever one of them started the fight, it happened where the school couldn't witness it."
"So this must be a setup then" Akise said curiously
"Exactly but which one of them though?" I asked
"We can't say for sure but..." before I could say anything more my phone rung
"Hello"
"I think I might have a lead for you"
"Ayanokouji? you're saying you found something?"
"Yes, I've found a witness" Well this is convenient, guess this investigation is progressing as planned.
"So who is the witness?" Ryuzaki joined in.
"Sakura Airi from Class D" The three of us looked at each other, and it seems that we all have the same idea.
"Very well then, thanks for the help, Ayanokouji"
"It's no problem" he said as he stopped the call.
"Well, we have ourselves a witness, but I think the real question is who would even set this up?" Akise asked
"Since they're from Class C, then I do have an idea on who would've setup this sort of crime" I said
"If you are thinking what I'm thinking then let's at least confirm first before we make any sort of conclusion"
"Don't worry, I think you know, and I know that we already have the answer to that."
"I'll ensure you that there will be justice"
