The Midterms have passed, and it seems that most of us managed to once again get 100 while those like Kururugi, Kirigaya and the rest that were 95 and below have also improved. Shigeru-sensei was impressed by the improvement.
It's currently Saturday meaning there are no classes. I'm with Katagiri and Karma right now. Karma decided to join in since he wanted to buy something from the mall. Thoughts ran into my mind on what exactly he's scheming. I'm betting that it's probably another plan on trying to prank the senpais.
"Hey have you heard?" Katagiri spoke
"About what?" asked Karma
"Class D seems to have the same idea as us" I looked at Katagiri as he said his words as questions are running in my mind.
"Really? how did a defective class managed to figure out the same plan as us?"
"Ehh, must be coincidence" Katagiri said. He could be right; I mean coincidences can be freaky but there's no way that Horikita or Hirata would've figured it out themselves. This might just be a hunch but could there be someone pulling their strings without any of us noticing?
"I don't think that they could've figured it out on their own. Someone else must've come up with the same idea"
"Seriously, I mean who's even smart enough from their class to even have that idea?" Karma asked
"I have no idea but whoever this person is, he/she must be brilliant enough to also figure out the S-System." I answered. Both Katagiri and Karma looked at me with curiosity.
"Wait you said you guys investigated Class D, right? So, you're saying there's someone that you guys didn't even notice in class? heh I thought you're brilliant than that Kiyotaka-kun" wait when did you start using my first name? Well, it doesn't matter. I answered his question.
"I don't usually care about the rest of the class aside from the more notable ones like Horikita. But if there is someone among them that is intelligent enough then this person might actually be a potential challenge to our class"
"If someone like that is dangerous then should we do something about it?" Katagiri asked.
"I don't think we should take action yet since we don't have any information on this mystery student."
As we continue to walk and have our conversation, we heard a voice and the three of us stopped.
"Ayanokouji-kun!" The three of us looked back and it was Kushida running towards us. She stopped in front of us, he looked pretty tired with all that running.
"What is it Kushida?" I asked
"Can you help us?" help her? She's clearly from a different class but why did she approach me for help?
"What do you need help with?" Karma asked
"Well, you see, one of our classmates is going to be expelled because of a failing score"
"Who got a failing score?" Katagiri asked
"I-it was Sudo-kun" Sudo huh? looks like this is an opportunity to test my own theory. Kei and Oreki had their own theory that worked so I want to see if mine will work as well.
"Ok I'll do something about it, do you know where your sensei is now Kushida?"
"Well, I don't know where Chabashira-sensei is right now, but could you find her for me?"
"No problem"
"You guys go on ahead, I have something to do" I said as I left Katagiri, Karma, and Kushida behind.

After minutes of walking and finding where Chabashira-sensei is, I eventually found her on the rooftop. As I walked up to her it seems that she acknowledged my presence.
"You must be Ayanokouji, right? Is there something you want?" she asked
"Is it alright if I ask you a question?"
"A question?"
"It regards to a certain student that I heard is going to get expelled."
"Oh you mean Sudo?"
"Yes"
"And what of it?" she asked
"Well, you see, would it be alright if you sell me points to add to Sudo's score in his Midterms?" I asked waiting for an answer as she suddenly laughed.
"hahaha, what exactly is your intention?"
"I don't intend on helping Class D in the first place but since coming here. I wanted to see if the other classes put up a fight and if someone like Sudo gets expelled then Class D isn't going to be a threat immediately"
"Is that so"
"If you are from Class S, why would you bother yourself with defectives?"
"It wouldn't be interesting for our class if someone with this kind of potential and development gets expelled all of a sudden even if it is a defective class."
"hmph, I guess your proposal is reasonable enough, but it will cost you"
"And by how much?"
"Give me 10,000 points and I'll sell it to you now."
"Very well then" I agreed to her offer of selling points to Sudo's test.
"By the way, why do you want to help Class D?"
"I don't but like I said, there wouldn't be any good competition if a class breaks apart immediately" I answered
"You're an interesting one, Ayanokouji. If you are my class, then it would've been possible for them to get to Class A."
"I do slightly agree" another voice was heard, and it was Horikita.
"Now I don't know what your goal is Ayanokouji-kun or why you are doing this, but I do agree on the possibility of having someone with potential to stay in class. This may just be my opinion but even the most defective of products can be fixed with some slight alterations"
"Very well then, I guess I'll look forward to it." She said as she walks away.
Sakayanagi POV
"Class S is slowly catching up to us, you think we should be worried?" Katsuragi-kun asked as we looked at the current class standings.
Class A: 1004 ppts
Class S: 840 ppts
Class B: 663 ppts
Class C: 492 ppts
Class D: 87 ppts
"Yes, they are but I'm not worried" just as I expected from you Ayanokouji-kun, but eventually I will defeat the Masterpiece of the White Room and show you just how superior I am.
"Looking at the class standings, are we?" we heard a voice and it's someone from our class.
"Ohh it's you, are you interested?" I asked
"Sorry but I don't have time to look at the lower classes, besides as long as we are on top. There is nothing that we should be worried about" My goodness, ever since he came to our class, he shows off this confidence, yet I see some arrogance that can only be matched by some people but since he's in our class, making an enemy out of him isn't necessary.
"No need to sound rude, besides aren't you interested in Class S too?"
"Yes, I am but if they are as good as they say, then they need more than just academics to beat us. Isn't that what you said? Sakayanagi?"
"fufu, you are correct
