As i was climbing down the tree i sudden realized it was easier than i thought. Thinking it must be all the energy i built up from sleeping so long. As i started to getting used to the climbing experience i was getting faster and faster and before i know it i was about ten feet from the ground. But as i look at the ground it seems covered in a light mist. However, looking down i clearly see earth so there most have been a pond or something formed over the year nearby. I mean trees dont live of darkness that is always around me, and they cant live off me. So what happened while i was asleep?
Just thinking about it made me tired, jumping down the last ten feet didn't seem to be problem so i jumped. AS i fell the last ten feet i was watching around me then seuddenly i see something about fifth feet aways from the tree that wasn't there when i went to sleep.
"SPLASH!!!!!"
"PFFTTTT!!!!!! I spit out water. wondering why the ground suddenly turned into water i decide to swim first to try and get out of this water. I started swimming towards ti site i saw earlier.
Swimming for about ffive minutes i was able to get out of the water about fifteen feet away from the tree. While laying there gasping for air i stared at the sky and noticed the dark sky was a little lighter than i remembered. Wondering what was going on made my feel alittle worried. Laying there with my eyes closed i didn't notice, the site i had seen was actually a person walking towards the water i had just got out of rather hastily.
As i opened my eyes i saw something i thought i would never see again. My eyes opend as round as they would go then sudden my heart hurt really bad. I couldn't believe i was seeing another person whom i thought had all died out years ago whn i got this system. When that thought passed my mind i couldn't help crying profusely. Laying there crying my heart out the person moved closer and sw my appearance.
I must have been a said site because they never moved or showed hostility once they got close enough to sit on a rock and wait for me to get over my extreme sadness i felt at this moment. For that i am truly grateful to who ever they are. Overcoming my sadness, i stood up and dusted my self off as much as best as i could given the circumstances.
"Ding!!!! Task of importance given,
As the system gave the task i sudden went stiff. Elf!?!? Like oh my god, what the fuck, ahhhhhhh!!!!!!! all inside my head so i didn't scare this girl in front of me. As i took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and counted to ten. As i opened my eyes and checked to make sure i was atleast presentable, i walked a little closer to make sure i was heard by this young girl.
"Ah hmm...Hello young lady. I am sorry if i have scared you by my sudden appearance, however i want to imply i meant no harm in doing so. As i was climbing down the tree after waking up i saw the ground at the last ten feet or so i thought. Being asleep for so long and not knowing the changes around me is no fault for not checking my surrondings to make sure i didn't scare anyone or hit them when i jumped down. And for that you have my moost humble apology if i have scared you in anyway possible."
The girl looked at me as if she had never seen a person before, or at least a man before. As she kept looking at me, she suddenly stood up from the rock she has previously sat on. She turned her head this and that way as if examining me. I wondered if i was really the first man she had ever seen and started getting anxious asif i am not suppose to be in this particular place.
Remembering my previous life and some of the books i read, with this young girl the only other person around, i sudden had this feeling as if i was in a restricted area. I looked up at the girl and saw her eyes looking at me with the most beautiful color of sky gray i have ever seen. Suddenly i didn't see,, to care if i got into trouble for being here. Her eyes had me captivated instantly.
Sudden i saw her mouth move.
"Ding!!!! You have received reward elfin language."
"AHH hmmm...." letting out a slight noise of discomfort as the language was pour into my brain.
"Are you ok...?" the girl asked me as she tilted her heard and looked mt me with worry in her eyes.
