"Hmm...I see said something very shocking. may know why yu are so shocked by this news?" i aske them.
"Well, how to put this. We have always seen something there and even over the year we have sent our warriors and even tried ourselves and have never been able to climb that high in the tree." the princess replied; as it seemsm he recoverd from what i have said the fastest. While taking a moment to diguest what i have benn told i look into her eyes for a moment and notice no lies in them.
"That might be because of me, i am sorry for this." i apologized to them, although im not sure if it was needed or not. Thinking I just glad im not the only being left. i didn't want to be lonely.
"Well is it true you have been you have been up there for as along as you have said." the king asked slowly. AS i turned to look at him; the king seems to still have some horror in his eyes. I sighed they must not know anything before their race cameto be i suddenly undertand.
"Do you know elfs came from the mother tre over there right?" i asked them. They looked at the tree and nodded. They knew the elves were born from the mother tree in the very beginning, and even extremely rarely still happens.
"Well do you know anything about the history of before that?" i asked slowy observing their experssions. All i could see is confusion, then i looked at the king who had a look of horror in his eyes. He knew some history before the elves from the world tree, in the form of memories but they were all just a tree, and never ending plain.
"Do you know about the tree standing in the never ending plain?" the king asked me cryptically. As i looked at him while he asked this question i noticed his eyes meant the queen and princess didn't know about this. My eyebrows went up as well. I looked at him for a moment before answering.
"Oh you know about that never ending plain?" i asked back. As i said this the king dropped to the floor so fast. The queen, princess, myself, and even the guards were alarmed. The king was pale as he looked at me. I titled my head; ah i know he must be the only one who knows about that plain.
"Well, when i woke up 278,964 years ago i was in a plain with nothing but a tree and a never ending plain of grass. This is my second life, i don't even have a name in this life. I cant remember my name from my last life anyways; so its not a big deal but i do remember it. Right before i died..." i drifted off. Closing my eyes trying to get my emotions.
"If its to hard to say you dont have to say it." the princess said softely. I turned and looked at her. She had nothing but concern in her eyes for me. I smiled at her letting her know i was ok; at least trying to anyways.
"I dont know why i survived when no one else did; but i am the last remaining member of humanity. Originally i wasn't suppose to survive as the universe actually exploded. everything was obliterated almost instantly. The scientists at the time were looking into how to fix the problems that was causeing tears in what was known only days before the explosion happened. There were what looked like rips and very large ones at the edges of the galaxies who where known to be empty. As soon as they found out the launch the answer about the problem to the public to give a little bit of hope since they had concluded we were beyond hope. Three days later...." i said as if a robot had taken over my body to finish talking as i sat down on a chair at the side of the half i had no idea i walked up to.
The princess seems to feel the sadness coming from the depths of my soul because she came next to me with out knowing leaning over and rubbing my back. As i sat there trying to over come my sadness and thinking this princess is doing something to a stranger like me so soon i hope i dont receive trouble for it. I just want to live a stable life for a while.
As we sat there; the king had returned to the throne. He leaned over to ask the queen discretely. "how much of what he says; do you think is true my darling?" he asks uncertainly. The queen turned and looked into his eyes.
"I believe its true. Look at your daughter, she has never touched a man before but yet she is soothing his sadness rubbing his back being there for him. I fell a sadness radiating from him along with a mixed emotion that he cant tell the complete truth of how he survived till now. to be honest i dont know what to think anymore; but one thinkg is certain." As the queen turned back to look into the kings eye who looked a little confused.
"he is confused about why he survived such an event as well..." she whispered to her husband.
