As i stood in front of the king lost in thought. i decided to take a look at the task menu while the princess talks to the king and queen for a moment. As i ewad the task menu i saw currently there is only one task, which was swining my sword 100,100 times....damn this might take a while. thinking about this task all the sudden i feel this moment visiting the family of a girl i just met might be a little rude as i wasn't dress properly or the fact i and completely soaked with water with my current clothes.
"Ding!!!! Task generated: greet king and queen politely. You have to greet them, talk to them, and have a favorable impression to complete this task. HINT WILL BE GIVEN THIS TIME AS WELL: MENTION THE TREE."
"UGH..." i suddenly sighed out loud. Whooops i was heard shit. The King, Queen, and Ameria looked at me. I was thinking at high speed at this very moment to figure out how to get out of this without offending them...ugh.
"My apologies Your Majesties, i would like to imform you i am not bored of your presence, being here, or any thing negative you may or may not think about me. I was lost in thought and suddenly lamenting about the past; if i have offended you in any way since we haven't even been promperly introduced, i am truly sorry." i said to the king, queen, and ameria hoping i didn't offend them because currently i have no where to go.
"Thank you for being honest with me." the kng replied. "I would like to ask two questions; so i hope you can be honest about the answers as well. These questions are pretty important. Depending on the answers on wheither or not i can allow you to stay here; i hope you understand."
"Your majesty, I cant be certain i can answer the questions as i dont know what they are at this time but i will certain try to answer them to best of my ability." i replied politely.
"Thank you. My first question is who are you? And my Second question is where did you come from? I ask the second question because you dont look like an elf and i have never seen your race before in my last five thousand years of life; so im curious." the king says with so worry in his voice the wasn't completely disguised.
"Your majesty, I can answer these questions for you; how ever i must ask you can i answer them in reverse order? i asked the king. As i said that his eyes squited and looked at me with more suspsion. While standing there waiting on the king to answer i felt a cold sweat going down my back.
"i would like to ask why you said that you would need to answer them in reverse order." The Queen said as the king was still lost in thought. This action has snapped the king out of his train of thought and got him back into the conversation going on in the present. I glanced at the king and he gave me a nod of approval.
"Your Highness, The reason for this is not for anything malious or of anything of the sort but im not entirely sure if i can explain it. Standing here i will answer the second question for Your Highness to prove my sincerity." i said with the utmost sincerity. The King, Queen, and Ameria looks at me with confused looks.
"If i could get your attention to look out that window on the left hand side with the giant tree in it. If you were to get right next to the base there is water, but of course if you get glose enough you can climb the tree. If one were to climb up the tree on the side facing us, about 100 feet from the ground there is what looks like a bunch of small branches. They are making what looks hammock." I glanced at their reactions to what i have said. All i saw was horror of their faces.
Confused i tilted my head and was thinking i didn't say anything so why is the reaction so intense. Hmmm...did i say something that offends their reigion maybe? Certainly not all i talked about is the big tree...?
"Uhmm...Do you know what that tree is out there?" the Princess asks cautiously.
"A Giant Tree?" i said in a very confused way.
"That tree is the world tree..." the princess stammers with disbelief....
I so shocked that i ran to the window forgetting where i was; looking at the tree once more i noticed further up the tree their is fruit on it and the most beautiful flowers i have ever seen in my life. Oh dear i slept in thw world tree hammock? Damn it, I remembered the world tree is the mother of the elves. What do i do now?
At that very moment the World Tree started to glow. Every elf within 50,000 miles noticed lamost immediately. As the glow got brighter and brighter, all the sudden there was shacking as well. Suddenly, the World Tree, presented two rings; these ring floated there for a moment and then disappeared. At this moment in the audience chamber of the kings palace was glowing brightly.
"Ding!!!! Congratulations on receiving assigined marriage from the mother of all elves. This ring cannto be removed. This ring increases all stats by +100 and has the ability to telepathically talk to your betroth." the rewards system suddenly says. Since my stats are already higher the raise doesn't really feel it. However on the othe side of the room the priness has fallen to the floor.
"AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" the princess screams at the top of her lungs. The king and queen have thought their only child and daughter was dying and didn't know what to do. The palace magician doesn't know either. Sigh...well shit i didn't realize my dream would happen so soon. i wanted to prove myself first. Well this might help a little.
"Give her something to dull the pain." i Said with a restrained voice. However other than the princesses scream my voice seemed to have carried all other the room. They all looked at me like i was a beast hunting its prey; i cant blame them their precious daughter is it massive pain.
"See this ring on our fingers. It gives us one hundred points to our bodies to increase our power." i responded with uncertainty they would understand what i menant.
"OH, OH, OH, I know what you mean she is getting status points then?" The court magician asked excitedly. The mention of this question was asked by him then he immediately gave her some pain medicine. While the king and Queen stare at me with the look like the were going to eat me. So i decided to get on my knees to talk to them this time.
"Your Majesties; I would to aplogoze forst and foremost. The reason Princess Ameria is facing this really intense pain is because of me. When the rings were put on us it essentially made the two of us a married coupled according to the world tree. since the ring did so i have a skill that allows people of my family to receive ten percent of my current stats as a boost to their original stats. So as an example; if my stats were 100 health points, they would get 10 health points from me as a bonus; but as you may have worried does it hurt me personally. To answer that worry that may or may not be there; is no it does not hurt me a bit."
"Then can you tell me why my daughter is writhing on the floor over there." The Queen asked with some anger and concern in her voice.
"Certainly, Your Majesty; Its because all my stats are one thousand." i replied without haste to make her worry come down. However by the looks of her face it seem like this was bad. The king snapped to attention when i said this. I looked at them both with confusion in my eyes. They shared a looked; then glancing at their daughter an me their faces paled.
"Is this bad my stats being like this?" i ask confusion.
"No its not, it just means you are really strong." the court magician replys.
"Then why is the princess like that?" i asked while looking at the beautiful elf crying so hard from the pain it hurt my heart i couldn't do nothing for her. That was when i remember the description of the ring. I can talk to her telepathically.
"Hang on im going to try something." i hastily to ther others in the room as i closed my eyes. I thought really hard trying to get through to her. "'Ameria; can you hear me? If you can hear me try to reach out me in your mind.'" i repated over and over in my mind trying to get her attention. Then suddenly as weak voice came through.
"'Who are you?'" ameria asked weakly.
"'According to the Wordl trees will; i am your new husband. you brought me to the palace this morning. do you remember? well the reason im and hear to talk to you and comfort you. i am hear to tell you its time to become the beautiful elf i fell-in-love the moment i saw her. please become the most lovely wife in the universe, please wake up from your pain. i am soo sorry its my fault your hurting you are getting ten percent of my stats. my stats are kind of high according to the looks i got from your parent. Any ways; please over come this trail so we can try to make our marriage the happiest in the world. Even though it wass forced i will learn to love you with all my heart; SO WAKE THE FUCK UP MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE!!!!!'" I said to the princess with a small voice with uncertainty until i realize i wanted to be her husband and then the power seems to come from no where in my speech.
As i opened my eyes i saw the princess looking at me with wide eyes. I walked over to her subconsciously like i did the last time i saw her cry by the water next to the world tree. Unconsicously reaching out to hug her and comforting her was something that i felt needed at the precise moment. As i was hugging her i leaned my head down towards her ear; where the king and queen wouldn't notice. "I meant what i said..." I whispered in her ear. i felt a violent tremor going through her body at this moment.
"And to answer your question, Your Majesties; that hammock is where i have been sleeping the last 278,964 years." As i said this with a plain face the tremor in the princess got even worse then she looked up at me wide wide eyes.
