Jay's POV
"OKAY THAT'S IT," Felix shouted, jumping on the couch, "now that we ALL know—"
"We don't ALL know," I cut in.
"—that YOU TWO are a thing," he continued louder.
I buried my face in my hands. "We are not a thing."
Keifer, sitting beside me, casually said, "We are."
I turned to him. "Excuse me?"
He smirked. "You said you like me."
Felix screamed. "CONFIRMED."
David sighed. "Finally. Took you long enough."
Calix nodded. "It was obvious."
Drew added, "Painfully obvious."
I glared at all of them. "You guys are the worst."
Keifer leaned closer. "You love us."
I muttered, "…maybe."
Keifer's POV
Felix clapped his hands. "Now that the main drama is solved—TRUTH OR DARE continues."
David groaned. "This is a bad idea."
"Exactly," Felix said proudly.
The imaginary bottle spun again.
And stopped on me.
Felix's grin turned evil. "Keifer. Truth or dare?"
I didn't even hesitate. "Dare."
Jay looked at me. "Confident."
"Always."
Felix rubbed his hands. "Okay… your dare is…"
Everyone leaned in.
"…you have to keep your arm around Jay for the next 15 minutes. No moving away."
Silence.
Then—
"That's it?" David said.
Felix frowned. "What? It's good!"
Calix smirked. "For them, that's not even a punishment."
Jay raised an eyebrow at me. "You okay with that?"
I looked at her.
"More than okay."
Jay's POV
He didn't wait.
His arm slipped around my shoulders, pulling me closer.
My brain stopped working for a second.
"Felix," I muttered, "this is your idea of a dare?"
Felix grinned. "I'm building tension."
"YOU'RE DOING NOTHING," Drew said.
But I could feel Keifer's hand resting lightly on my arm.
Warm.
Steady.
Not moving.
And suddenly… 15 minutes felt like a long time.
Too long.
I tried to act normal.
"Continue the game," I said.
But inside?
Yeah.
Not normal.
Keifer's POV
She was pretending.
I could tell.
Every time someone joked, she laughed—but slightly delayed.
Every time I shifted even a little—
She froze.
Cute.
Felix whispered loudly, "Bro is enjoying this too much."
I smirked. "Maybe."
Jay elbowed me. "Focus on the game."
"I am."
"Liar."
Later…
The dares got dumber.
Felix had to dance.
David refused to sing and got attacked for it.
Mayo nearly broke a glass.
Eman kept bringing food like a legend.
Denzel just watched everything like a tired parent.
By the time the game slowed down, everyone was laughing, tired, and half-dead on couches.
Jay stood up. "I'm getting water."
I watched her go.
And after a second—
I followed.
Jay's POV
The kitchen was quiet.
Finally.
I grabbed a glass, pouring water slowly.
The noise from the living room felt far away.
Peaceful.
"Running away again?"
I didn't turn.
"…You followed me."
"Obviously."
I smiled slightly and turned around.
"Why?"
He stepped closer.
"Because you walked away."
"That's not a reason."
"It is for me."
Why does he say things like that so casually?
I shook my head. "You're impossible."
"And you like that."
I rolled my eyes. "Maybe a little."
He stepped closer again.
Now we were standing very close.
Too close.
My heart started racing again.
"This is becoming a pattern," I said softly.
"What is?"
"Us… ending up alone."
He smiled. "Not complaining."
I looked up at him.
Bad idea.
Very bad idea.
"Keifer—"
Before I could finish, he reached out, pulling me slightly closer.
But in that moment—
His hand slipped.
Accidentally.
I froze.
He froze.
His hands were cupping my boobs.
Silence.
"…I didn't—" he started immediately, pulling his hand back.
"I know," I said quickly.
We both looked away for a second.
Awkward.
Very awkward.
Then—
I laughed softly.
He blinked. "…You're laughing?"
"Yeah," I said, trying to calm the moment. "Relax. It was an accident."
He ran a hand through his hair. "Still."
I stepped closer again.
"You're overthinking."
He looked at me carefully. "Are you sure?"
I nodded.
"…Yeah."
The tension shifted.
Not awkward anymore.
Just… heavier.
Quieter.
He leaned in slightly. "You trust me?"
I didn't even think.
"Yes."
That was it.
That one word changed everything.
He leaned in—
And kissed me.
Slow.
Careful.
Like he was asking, not taking.
And I didn't pull away.
Keifer's POV
She didn't stop me.
That's all I needed.
I kept it soft.
Gentle.
Because this wasn't about rushing.
This was about her.
When we pulled back, she looked at me for a second… then smiled slightly.
"We should go back," she said.
"Yeah."
Neither of us moved.
"…Now," she added.
"Right."
Jay's POV
We went back like nothing happened.
Except everything had happened.
Felix looked at us suspiciously. "You took long."
"Water takes time," I said.
"Water doesn't flirt," he replied.
I threw a cushion at him.
4:00 A.M.
Everyone was half asleep.
Lights dim.
Blankets everywhere.
Felix already snoring.
David still awake but regretting life.
Cin somehow still talking.
Calix quiet.
Drew and Kit passed out.
Mayo on the floor.
Eman cleaning even now.
Denzel finally lying down.
I sat quietly, tired.
Keifer leaned toward me. "Hey."
"Hm?"
"Sleep here."
I blinked. "Here?"
He nodded, shifting slightly to make space beside him.
Cin suddenly appeared. "I'm also coming."
Both of us: "What?"
Before we could react—
Cin flopped down between us.
"Goodnight," he said instantly.
I stared at Keifer.
He stared at me.
"…Seriously?" I whispered.
He sighed. "Seriously."
Cin grabbed both of us like a blanket.
"I like warmth," he mumbled.
I tried not to laugh.
Keifer looked done with life.
I whispered, "Your plan failed."
He whispered back, "Not completely."
Under the blanket, his hand found mine.
Lightly.
Hidden.
No one saw.
I squeezed it slightly.
And for the first time that night—
Everything felt calm.
I am going to upload daily and if I don't then I will upload a longer chapter the next day.
