Far away from the cabbage garden, Kichy Rabbit sat under a big mango tree.
His mouth was still burning from the spicy chilli.
"Too spicy! Too spicy!" he cried, drinking water from a small pond.
After a while, he calmed down.
"Hmmm… those vegetables tricked me," he said angrily.
"But next time, I will be smarter!"
Kichy Rabbit started thinking about a revenge plan.
Just then, his friend Miku the Monkey jumped down from the tree.
"Why are you crying, Kichy?" asked Miku.
Kichy Rabbit told him everything — the garden, the carrots, and the spicy chilli trap.
Miku laughed loudly.
"Ha ha ha! You tried to eat a chilli thinking it was a carrot!"
Kichy Rabbit looked embarrassed.
"But I still want those sweet carrots," he said.
Miku scratched his head and whispered,
"I have a clever idea…"
That night, Kichy Rabbit and Miku slowly came near the cabbage garden again.
But this time, they did not jump inside.
Instead, Miku climbed the tall fence and looked around.
Inside the garden, Peggy and the vegetables were sleeping peacefully.
"Perfect!" whispered Miku.
The monkey quietly dropped a big basket inside the garden.
"Tomorrow night," said Kichy Rabbit,
"I will take all the carrots at once!"
But hidden behind the pumpkin house…
Peggy had already heard everything.
She smiled and whispered,
"Oh Kichy Rabbit… this time we will be ready."
The moon shined brightly over the garden.
And the next night was going to be very surprising for Kichy Rabbit.
