(Scene: the ring, sector 4.)
Noise continues to blare, cheers mixed with drunken roars echoing through the ring. Aris and Yobi stand above, elevated above the rest of the crowd, leaning on a rail. Meanwhile, Kai sits within the walls of the building, sitting in a dim room. nothing but a couch, bland walls, and a tv mounted displaying What's happening outside this room. Kai sits alone, his arms crossed, legs up, trying to relax. but he exhales, thoughts getting the better of him. "match two.. i have to win!"
Back in the arena, the crowd starts to grow louder. Yobi leans in "I think its about to start." commentator: "STARTTTING ROUND 1! WE HAVE TWO LOVVVELY LADIES!! FIRST, FROM THE 'DRAGON' CREW, RANGAKOOOOOO!" A woman slowly emerges from the tunnel, white robes, a white veil covering half her face, a single blue eye visible, long black hair trailing. "rangako" the crowd roars for her, cat calls being whistled. the scene climbs up the stairs of the crowd, through the cheers.. a man sits alone at the top row. messy white hair, deep black eyes. he wears a button up outfit.. with a red dragon emblem on his back. enter: "kisame gajo" he claps slowly "make me proud, rangako.." then, commentator: "THEN, FROM THE MANJI GANG.. RIZEEEEE!" out of the other tunnel, mid-brown skin, long purple hair, wearing black robes. "rize" Rangako smirks "i know you.." rize: "yeah? good. ill pay you back for every insult you left me as kids." the ref steps between them "Ladies.. ready your lines." *PFFT* three lines appear behind both woman. the ref raises his arm in the sky..
"BEGIN!" he drops his hand, leaping back. Rize moves first, snatching a line out the air "SWORD!" the line shifts, into a glowing cyan blade! she lunges forward, running in zig-zag bursts. rangako stares her down, calculating. she thinks: "a shield..? no." she grabs a line.. and her eyes drift to the stands. to gajo. she whispers: "watch this.. sensei!" her eyes narrow, as she ducks under rize's swing. "ACCELERATOR!!!" her line shifts in shape, turning into a three-barreled blast cannon. the scene splits in three, aris' shocked face, kai staring at the tv, gajo's arrogant smirk. then- back to the ring. *BOOOOOM!* CYAN BLUE ENERGY blasts detonates, sending rize flying, launched backwards. the crowd roars! gajo: "goood!" rangako smirks "YOU'RE JUST A WEAKLING." she leaps high into the air, the cannon dissolves into blue ash. rize pushes herself up.. but freezes.. what she sees.. rangako's 2 lines multiply into 5. "ill just finish you." the lines.. start to twist... interlock.. and click together. "NOW, LASSO." a massive cyan lasso forms.. rize twitches, she gets ready to dodge, but too late. *FWOOOSH.* she's caught. rangako: "TAMANAWA!!!!" *CRACCK* the lasso tightens, cracking bones. *THUD* rize falls.. blood dripping from her lip, unconscious. The crowd doesn't stop. money gets handed to betters. man: "HEH, I MADE 100 BUCKS!" Yobi: "mm.. that was a smart technique." Aris nods "yeah, combining her lines like that." he looks down slightly.. on his mind "kai's next.."
In the waiting room, kai stands up from the couch, exhaling. the scene splits again. left, Aris. right, kai. both: "Win.."
