(scene: the forest.)
The forest is quiet.. smoke rising slowly into the evening air. Trees.. stand charred. Trunks split apart, short cyan spikes impaled into the bark in multiple directions. in the center.. Kai stands. Dirt on his clothes, leaves stuck to his pants. breathing heavy, panting.. but smiling. He looks down at his hands.. his left still covered by the white glove. "its not perfect.. not yet." *crunch* Leaves shift. Kai turns.. and gajo approaches through the forest. He raises one hand "yo!" Kai grins wide "GAJO!" he jogs forward. Gajo looks around at the ruined clearing. "someone's been busy.." Kai bursts "GAJO, GAJO! I FIGURED IT OUT, LET ME SHOW-" Gajo lifts his hand, stopping him "wait! if you've figured it out.. then don't tell me just yet. hone and master it. Then, once we battle together? you'll show me then." Kai blinks.. his eyes sparkling "Battle.. together..?" Gajo smirks "we are allies now, right?" *CLAP!* Kai: "hell yeah!"
As the two exit the forest, the night settles in. Gajo digs into the bag on his wrist, pulling out a gas station nagasaki bun and handing it to Kai. Kai lights up "WOAH! YOU'RE THE BEST!" he digs in immedeitaly. Gajo looks up to the dark sky.. "well, We've been out all day so i thought you can use something to eat." Kai chews as he says "Thank you." they walk.. talking casually. simple conversations "how are you?" "been training long?" small laughs. comfortable, as if they've known each other for the longest. eventually, they stop outside tetsukan. Kai looks up at the building. "Thanks for everything.. really." Gajo smirks "No problem. Hey Kai..? can i ask something..?" Kai nods "of course! whats up?" Gajo: "you said.. you wanted to get strong. and that you need to. For status, but why..?" Kai blinks.. Gajo: "no judging! i'd help you no matter the answer, just as promised." Kai: "Well.. i need respect. respect so i can become higher status. And get the nice life in Sector 1. respect is everything in this world. So, i need everyone to respect me." Gajo smirks "teh. is that so?" Kai rubs his cheek "Well at least.. that's my opinion." Gajo: "no, its fine! its just.. a guy i knew once.. said something just like that." Kai quietly blinks "mm.." Gajo looks down to him "look, how about this. if you help me defeat manji..? ill get you into sector 3." Kai freezes.. eyes widening "No way.. you're.. SERIOUS!?" Gajo nods "super!" Kai: "Wait.. couldn't you just beat them all on your own..?" Gajo shrugs "Maybe. but it'd be more fun with you." Kai smirks *CLAP* Another dap "I'M IN!"
Inside Tetsukan, Makimi sweeps calmly, Aris sitting at the counter. *ding.* The door opens, and Kai steps inside. Aris turns his head, smirking "Look who finally decided to come home." makimi smiles "welcome home, Kai." Kai grins "Hey guys!" Aris stands up "the hell you een all day, red cherry?" Kai: "i've.. been learning my brand new technique!" Aris freezes "wait.. new what..?" Kai nods dramatically "Yeah! Gajo's helping me with my training! its going real good!" Aris blinks.. as Kai walks past him. Kai: "Anyway, imma go shower up, see ya later!" he walks up the stairs. Aris just watches him go. makimi glances "captain..?" Aris' eyes narrow. he whispers under his breath "tch.. the hell? Tryna get stronger all of a sudden." Makimi: "Hm..?" Aris does not answer, and he just walks out. But Makimi smirks, knowing. "teh."
(scene: the golden sewer chamber, Manji base)
Haga remains seated upon his throne. the Pink haired woman still beside him. Dabo kneels before him. Haga: "So he's truly that strong..?" Dabo nods "Mhm." Haga exhales "at the point.. kisame gajo has caused the fall of three of our members." his eyes narrow "From this point on. its war."
