(scene: Testsukan, sector 4.)
Inside the coffee shop, by the counter stands Makimi. Yobi on her side, to her left a third one is now present. A boy with messy cyan hair, sharp blue eyes, A black cloak just like Aris', just less cool maybe. Enter: Ban kusekabe. The three stand in front of Kai and Aris, all standing tall. Ban's eyes narrow "who's this guy..?" Makimi nods "YEAH CAPTAIN!" Aris: "This is idiot, he'll be here a while.." makimi's head tilts "Id..iot..? that's your name??" Yobi: "No, silly!" he chuckles. Kai puts a hand up
"Hey there.. my name's kai! And i'm going to become the strongest! Even better then Aris!" the group pauses.. makimi stares like he's an actual idiot. Aris smirks, then walks to the stairs knowing what's to come next. Ban leans in uncomfortably close to Kai.. Ban: "you'd never be better than him. He's the strongest man i've met. understand?" Kai nervously recoils. yobi then pushes past ban "OKAY! my turn to talk to the new guy!" he puts a hand on kai's shoulder "OKAY MY FRIEND. tell me your favorite thing about fighting.. that.. will decide EVERYTHING." Kai: "Huh..?" Ban shoves Yobi out the way "If you're gonna speak nonsense then let me talk!" makimi: "What is wrong with you!? YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO TREAT GUESTS!?" Ban: "oh shut up!" the two start going back n forth, bickering.. Kai stands awkwardly watching, until yobi turns to him, smirking. he grabs Kai, using the chaos to leave the shop. Ban and Makimi freeze.. both: "HEY!"
(Scene: testuskan territory, sector 4.)
We see Yobi and Kai walking through the dirt roads, Yobi's arm over kai's shoulder. Yobi: "I see.. that's why you fight" Kai sighs "Yeah.. but i'm not strong enough yet.. i need to get stronger." Yobi: "isn't that why you came here..?" Kai smirks "yeah.. i need some respect!" Yobis hands clap together "THATS THE SPIRIT!" Kai pumps his fists, getting fired up "ILL SHOW EVERYONE!!!" HE TAKES OFF RUNNING! Yobi freezes "wait- right now!?"

Back at testuskan, Aris descends the stairs. Makimi stands behind the counter, Ban sweeping around the cafe. Aris looks around "eh..? the hells kai..?" Makimi: "Yobi took him out a while back.. they still haven't returned." Aris' eyes widen.. Makimi: "really sucks too-" *DINGG!* the bell on the door rings. makimi's head snaps up, Aris gone. "captain..?" Outside, Aris rushes through the dirt roads. then- Yobi turns the corner casually. Aris skids to a stop "YOBI!" Yobi: "captain, fancy seeing you here!" Aris: "WHERES THE IDIOT!?" yobi blinks "oh yeah, kai! he kinda just ran off.. it was the weirdest thing." Aris: "WHEREEEE?" yobi shrugs "He told me about wanting to be strong n gettin respect. then ran off." Aris' heart drops. thinking: "my.. reputation..!" "Lets go..!" he takes off running, Yobi follows, not a question asked.
(Scene: the tournament.)
Dozens sit in the stands, roaring, cheering, laughing. drunk men take sips, placing bets. the ring empty right now.. todays tournament not starting just yet. commentator: "THE FIRST ROUND OF TODAY'S MATCHES WILL BEGIN IN JUST ONE HOUR!!!" the crowd erupts. Aris and Yobi enter the building, scanning around. yobi: "You like betting?" Aris ignores, walking over to the wall.. eyes scanning the match sheet. Then- he sees it. in the second section. KAI'S NAME. matched against dabo kugasaki. Aris: "MY GOD!!" yobi: "hm?" Aris palms his own face "he was serious.." he exhales "well.. nothing we could do now but watch." he looks up at the crowd.. eyes blinking "i just hope you know what you're doing.. Kai." the crowd barks loudly "LETS GET IT STARTED ALREADY!!" "YEAHHHHH!"
