The party was still alive.
Music played in the background, people laughed, grasses and conversations filled the room.
Nayza, Doruk and Huru were standing together, talking casually.
For a while, everything felt light.
Normal.
Then Nayza spoke softly.
"You guys continue... I think I'm little tired. I'll go sit."
Doruk immediately looked at her.
"Should I come with you? Are you feeling okay?"
Nayza shook her head with a small smile.
"I'm fine. You both enjoy."
She walked away and found a quiet place to sit.
Doruk watched her go.
But before he could follow—
Huru spoke.
"I think I should go sit with her too... she might feel bored sitting there alone."
Doruk nodded.
"Okay. I'll find Yesir... I don't know where he disappeared."
Huru smiled slightly and walked toward Nayza.
She sat beside her.
For a moment, the was silence.
Then Huru smiled awkwardly and said,
"Can I ask you something?"
Nayza looked at her.
"Hmm?"
Huru hesitated a little, then asked—
"Are you and Doruk... dating?"
Nayza laughed lightly.
"No, nothing like that. We're just close friends."
Huru nodded slowly.
"Oh... okay."
Nayza tilted her head slightly.
"Why did you suddenly ask that?"
Huru looked away, a little shy.
"Nothing... just like that."
Nayza watched her for a second—
Then smiled knowingly.
"Do you like Doruk?"
Huru froze.
Her cheeks turned slightly pink.
"No—no... it's not like that."
But her expression said everything.
Nayza gently placed her hand on Huru's shoulder.
"Listen to me," she said softly.
"If you like him... you should tell him."
Huru looked at her, unsure.
"Before someone else does," Nayza added with a faint smile.
"I'm sure many girls would want to talk to him today."
Huru sighed.
"That's true... but what if he doesn't like me?"
Nayza shook her head.
"Why wouldn't he? Just look at yourself."
She smiled warmly.
"I'm sure a lot of guys want to talk to you too."
Huru laughed softly.
"Yeah... maybe."
For a moment—
Both of them laughed together.
Then Huru said.
"Maybe... I'll tell him after graduation."
"That's still a year away." Nayza said, then she smiled.
"Byt okay... just make sure you try."
Huru nodded.
"Thanks... and by the way, you're not as rude as I thought."
Nayza looked surprised.
"Why did you think I was rude?"
Huru smiled awkwardly.
"You don't talk much... and you face always looks tired. It feels like if someone tries to talk to you, you might just ignore them."
Nayza laughed softly.
"That's not true."
Then she added, her voice softer—
"I've changed... a lot. Because of My friends. I smile more now."
Huru nodded.
"I can see that."
A small silence followed.
Comfortable this time.
Then suddenly—
Nayza nudged her lightly.
"Now go."
Huru blinked.
"Huh?"
Go spend moment with Doruk," Nayza said, smiling.
"Don't waste your time sitting here with me."
Huru started at her for a second—
Then her face lit up.
"Are you serious?"
Nayza nodded.
"Go."
That was all Huru needed.
Someone who understands her, someone's support.
She stood up, a little excited, a little nervous—
And walked away.
Nayza watched her go.
A faint smile on her lips.
Then slowly—
That smile faded.
She leaned back slightly in her seat.
Her gaze drifting into nothing.
A thought crossed her mind.
I have good friends now...
I laugh... I talk... I'm not alone anymore...
Then why—
Why does everything still feel so empty sometimes?
She didn't understand it.
Her life had changed.
Everything was better.
And yet—
There was still something missing.
Something she couldn't name.
Just then—
A voice interrupted her thoughts.
"Well... what's a beautiful girl doing sitting here all alone?"
Nayza looked up.
A guy stood in front of her.
Messy hair falling over his forehead.
Ear piercing.
Lip piercing.
A confident smirk on his face.
"What's your name?" he asked.
Nayza looked at him.
Her expression blank.
Uninterested.
Without saying anything—
She stood up.
"Excuse me."
And started walking away.
The guy frowned slightly.
"Hey... at least listen," he said, irritation creeping into his voice.
"What's with the attitude?"
But Nayza didn't stop.
Didn't even turn back.
She just walked away.
The guy watched her leave.
His expression slowly shifting.
From annoyance—
To curiosity.
"Who is she...?" he muttered quietly.
Back near the main area—
The party was starting to slow down.
People were leaving one by one.
Nayza went to Leera.
"Bye," she said softly.
Leera smiled and hugged her.
"Text me when you reach home."
"I will."
Doruk joined her.
"I'll drop you," he said.
Nayza nodded.
"Okay."
The two of them left together.
Now—
Only few people remained.
Yesir and Leera stood near each other.
A quiet moment between them.
Yesir spoke softly.
"So... should I go?"
Leera looked away shyly.
"Hmm... yeah."
Yesir stepped closer.
"Look at me and say it."
Leera hesitated.
Then looked into his eyes.
A small, shy smile forming.
"It's already 2 a.m... you should go."
Yesir didn't reply.
He just kept looking at her.
Leera looked away again, flustered.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
Yesir stepped closer.
Then gently—
He pressed his lips to hers.
A soft kiss.
Lingering.
"Take care," he whispered.
"I'll see you tomorrow."
Leera nodded softly.
"You too... bye."
And just like that.
The night ended.
