[We'all are wrong in someone's poin of view]
Morning sunlight slowly slipped through the curtains, filling the apartment with a soft golden glow.
Nayza stirred lightly in her sleep before slowly opening her eyes.
For a few seconds, she stared blankly at the ceiling, still half asleep.
Then suddenly. Last night's memories returned.
Doruk.
The couch.
The head massage.
Falling asleep on his lap.
Nayza immediately sat up and looked toward the living room.
And there he was.
Still asleep on the couch.
One arm resting over his forehead while the morning light touched his face softly.
Nayza quietly walked out of her room and stood there silently, watching him.
Something inside her chest felt strangely warm.
A feeling she couldn't properly explain.
A soft sadness mixed with comfort.
"I'm receiving the kind of love, care, and protection from a boy that I should've probably received from my parents…" she thought quietly.
Her eyes softened unknowingly.
For the first time in a very long while, someone had stayed.
Someone had cared without expecting anything in return.
Slowly, she walked closer.
"Doruk…" she called softly while gently shaking his shoulder.
Doruk frowned slightly before opening his eyes.
For a second, he looked confused.
Then he suddenly sat up."Oh… I fell asleep here?"
Nayza crossed her arms slightly while looking at him. "Yes, obviously." Then her expression softened. "But how did you even sleep properly on the couch? Doesn't your body hurt?"
Doruk stretched his shoulders slightly before smiling casually. "No. I'm fine."
Nayza looked unconvinced. "You should've slept on the bed."
Doruk immediately shook his head. "No, no. It's okay. I should leave now anyway." He stood up quickly, almost too quickly.
Nayza frowned in confusion. "Why are you leaving already? Rest a little more."
But Doruk avoided her gaze while picking up his phone and jacket.
"No… it's okay. Sorry."
And before she could stop him again, he walked toward the door.
"Doruk."
"I'll see you later," he said quickly before leaving.
The door closed.
Nayza stood there silently, confused. "Why was he acting so strange…?"
Before she could think further, her phone suddenly rang.
Leera.
Nayza answered immediately, "Good morning. How are you, Leera?"
Leera laughed softly from the other side. "I think I should be asking you that."
Nayza sighed lightly, "I'm okay… and I'm sorry about yesterday."
"There's nothing to apologize for," Leera replied warmly. "Come meet me today. We'll talk properly."
Nayza smiled slightly. "Should I come to your house, or are you coming here?"
"You come here," Leera said immediately.
Nayza nodded. "Okay. I have to pick up my car first, so I'll come after that."
"Fine," Leera replied excitedly. "But come quickly. I have so much to tell you."
Nayza instantly narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "Oh? Then I definitely need to come fast."
Both of them laughed.
After getting ready, Nayza picked up her car and drove toward Leera's house.
The moment Leera opened the door, she immediately pulled Nayza inside dramatically. "Finally. Come in."
Nayza laughed softly. "Alright, now tell me what happened."
Leera grabbed her wrist excitedly. "First, come to my room first."
"Okay."
The two quickly went upstairs into Leera's room.
The moment the door closed, Nayza sat on the bed and looked at her seriously. "Now speak."
But instead of answering immediately, Leera suddenly looked shy.
Actually shy.
Nayza stared at her in complete shock. "Wait… are you blushing?"
"Maybe a little…" while blushing Leera said.
Nayza gasped dramatically. "Oh my God. This is serious. Tell me right now."
Leera finally looked at her and smiled nervously. "That night at the party…" She paused. "Yesir proposed to me."
For two seconds, Nayza simply stared at her blankly.
Then suddenly,
"What?! Seriously?!"
Leera laughed and quickly showed her hand. "He even gave me a ring."
Nayza immediately grabbed her hand to look at it properly.
Her eyes widened instantly. "Oh my God…"
A huge smile appeared on her face.
Leera looked down shyly. "He said he wants to marry me someday."
"That's amazing!" Then Nayza quickly looked back at Leera excitedly. "And then? What happened after that?"
Leera's cheeks blushing even more. "We…We kissed."
Nayza burst into laughter immediately. "Wow. You two seriously turned into a romantic movie."
But both of them were laughing now.
Nayza smiled warmly while holding Leera's hand again. "I'm really happy for you." Her voice softened genuinely. "My best friend finally found the love she deserves."
Leera's expression became emotional hearing that. "I've honestly been so happy since that night."
Nayza suddenly crossed her arms dramatically. "Hm... Don't talk to me anymore."
Leera blinked in confusion. "What? Why?"
Nayza narrowed her eyes playfully. "All this happened, and you're only telling me now?"
Leera immediately hugged her arm. "Sorry, my love. Yesterday everything became messy, and we couldn't talk properly."
Nayza's expression softened instantly. "Actually… I should be the one apologizing."
Leera shook her head. "No. Don't, I'll wait until you talk to me about that"
Nayza softened her voice, "yeah I'll tell you when exact time comes."
After that, the two spent the entire day together.
Talking.
Laughing.
Teasing each other endlessly.
For a little while, everything felt peaceful again.
Later in the evening, their conversation slowly became quieter.
More emotional.
Leera laid beside Nayza on the bed while staring at the ceiling. "University starts again tomorrow…"
Nayza nodded slowly. "And after this year…"
Leera completed softly, "We'll only have one year left together."
Silence filled the room.
Then Leera turned toward her carefully. "Will you go back home after graduation?"
Nayza looked down quietly. "Maybe…"
Then after a pause,
"I'm not really sure yet."
Leera immediately made a sad face. "If you leave, I'll seriously hate being here alone."
Nayza smiled weakly. "I'll hate it too."
While the two of them were still talking, the doorbell suddenly rang.
Leera looked toward the door. "Wait, I'll check."
Nayza stood up too. "I'll come with you."
Both of them walked downstairs. Leera opened the door, and the moment it opened, Yesir was standing there holding a bouquet of flowers.
He smiled slightly. "You're not even going to invite me inside?"
Leera laughed softly. "Come in."
As soon as Yesir stepped inside, he noticed Nayza standing there too.
Nayza looked at the bouquet in his hands and immediately understood who the flowers were for.
Yesir suddenly looked a little embarrassed. A small awkward smile appeared on his face. "Hello, Nayza. You're here too," he said with a light laugh.
Nayza smiled teasingly. "I can leave if my presence is ruining your time together."
Both Leera and Yesir immediately replied together. "No, it's nothing like that."
Yesir rubbed the back of his neck slightly. "I just came to surprise her."
Leera smiled shyly before saying, "Come upstairs."
The three of them went to the room together. As they entered, Yesir handed the bouquet to Leera.
Leera's face instantly brightened while holding the flowers carefully.
After talking for a while, Yesir suddenly looked toward Nayza.
"Nayza… what do you think about Erhaan?"
The moment she heard his name, she paused slightly. Her expression changed for a second before she quietly asked, "What do you mean?"
Yesir leaned back slightly before speaking. "When you and Erhaan used to sit together in the beginning, I used to tease him a lot."
Nayza listened quietly.
"I used to tell him that he was getting used to you because you were always the one he talked to the most. But he always denied it. He'd say there was nothing like that, and that you two were just seatmates who asked each other study-related questions."
Yesir gave a faint smile. "But even then, I kept teasing him." His expression slowly became serious afterward. "Then suddenly you changed your seat."
Nayza looked down quietly.
"And somewhere… I think what Erhaan did to you after that was related to it."
Nayza looked at him again, confused. "My changing seats upset him?" she asked softly. "But why? I wasn't that important to him… so why?"
Yesir stayed quiet for a moment before answering carefully. "I can't explain too much… but something similar happened in his past too. Maybe that's why he behaved that way with you."
The room became quiet after that.
Nayza slowly lowered her gaze.
"Oh…"
A faint smile appeared on her face, but it looked sad.
"So… he neither hated me nor liked me."
Her voice became softer.
"He just treated me that way because of his past."
For a moment, she stayed silent before quietly adding. "It still hurts hearing that."
After a paused.
Nayza softly smiled before standing up. "Alright then, friends. I should leave now," she said gently. "Please enjoy your time together."
Leera immediately looked at her. "So soon?"
Nayza said with a small smile, " It's already evening."
