Chapter 3
Jayjay's point of view
My head ached so much, like something huge had hit me...
There was no sound, it was pitch black everywhere...
But slowly everything returned to normal. Sounds started coming. "Beep beep beep" sounds...
My eyes slowly opened...
"He's awake!" a voice shouted.
"Jayjay, you finally woke up, baby!" This voice belonged to Aunt Gemma.
Finally, I sat up and looked to see who was there...
Angelo, Aunt Gemma, Aries, Ella, and E... but he wasn't there...
I was in the hospital... in a patient room... Then my eyes fell on them, why were they here?
"Why are you here?" I asked calmly, looking at E.
"Jay, we were worried about you!" Ci-n shouted.
I don't know what I'm feeling, but I didn't want to see them here.
"Please leave," I asked calmly.
"But Jay-"
"I SAID LEAVE!" I interrupted Felix, shouting.
"Leave," Angelo said calmly.
The others looked at each other. Then they started to leave quietly, and that's when I saw him...
He looked very tired... He was looking at me... David...
Everyone left, he was the last one to leave.
Only Angelo, Aunt Gemma, Aries, and Ella remained in the room.
"What happened to me?" I asked calmly.
"We don't know, Doctor Parelta called me and said you were in the hospital and that you had been breathless and fainted, of course, that's what the doctor said," Angelo said in the same tone as me.
The last thing I remember was someone pulling me towards them. But...who was it? Could it be him? Get a grip, Jayjay, why would he save you? After all, he doesn't love you, he hates you, he just used you...
Wait a minute, who brought me here?
"Who brought me here?" I asked.
Everyone looked at each other, and Aunt Gemma spoke.
"We don't know, dear, we were only informed that you were here," she said.
Who could it be? Who!
The sound of the door brought me back to reality. Dr. Parelta entered.
"Hello Mrs. Mariano, so you're awake, how do you feel?"
"I'm fine, but I have a little pain, my head hurts a lot," I said.
"That's perfectly normal, don't worry, there's nothing serious, you just fainted briefly. You can go through the discharge procedures, but take good care of yourself, don't stress, and if your head hurts a lot, take a painkiller. Get well soon," she said and left the room.
"I'll take Ella home, you can go home after completing the discharge procedures," Aries said.
Angelo nodded and went to complete the discharge procedures.
Aunt Gemma helped me, gently lifting me up and starting to pack my things. I went to the bathroom to change, and when I came out, Angelo was there.
"Are you ready? Let's go," he said.
"I'm ready, we can go," I said.
My pain had lessened; the painkiller the doctor had given me had worked well.
We went down to the parking lot. Aunt Gemma held my arm because I was feeling a little dizzy. Then we got in the car and drove home.
On the way, I looked out the window. But all I could think about was him...
His beautiful smile, his voice, his scent, his gaze...
But it was too late... Now we were two enemies...
Either we met at the wrong time, or we were two people who should never have met...
