Chapter 7
Keifer's Perspective
I was sitting on the balcony of my room. In one hand I held his photo, in the other a drink...
I was drinking while looking at his picture. Suddenly, my phone rang, and I saw it was Edrix calling. I answered.
"What's up, Edrix?"
[Keifer! Jayjay is missing! Angelo is calling us, come quickly!]
"Jayjay is missing?"
[Yes, he left the house this morning to get some fresh air but hasn't come back.]
"Okay, I'm coming," I said and hung up.
Actually, I wasn't worried because I had a tracking device on my phone connected to his. I could find out where he was. But I still decided to go to Angelo's house.
I went downstairs. Keiren and Keigan were eating; they smiled when they saw me.
"Come on, let's eat, you must be hungry," Keiren said with a sweet smile.
"No, Keiren, I'm not hungry, you guys eat. The boss is calling me, I have to go. Don't worry, I won't be back late," I said, and they nodded.
I went to the garage, got my car, and drove towards Angelo's house.
I parked the car in front of his house, and only my car wasn't there. Only Yuri's car looked familiar.
I knocked on the door. The servants opened it, and I went inside.
Everyone was there, only one person was missing...or wait! Where's David?
"Keifer, you've arrived," Angelo said.
Everyone looked at me.
"Yes, Angelo, I've arrived. Any news?" I asked.
"No, he went out this morning to get some fresh air but hasn't come back, and he's not answering his phone," he said.
I saw Edrix and Rory at the computer. I knew they had some work to do related to Jayjay.
I went over to them and asked;
"Did you find anything?"
"No, we haven't found anything yet, but we're working on it. I'm sure we'll find something, even if it's small."
"Keifer, wasn't there a tracking device on your phone connected to Jayjay's phone?" he asked, and everyone looked at me at once.
"WHAT!!! YOU HAD A TRACKING DEVICE PUT ON MY COUSIN'S PHONE?!" Angelo shouted. It was truly terrifying...
"Yes, but I had it put there for his safety. We can even check it now to find out where he is," I said innocently.
"I'll talk to you later. Right now, we just need to find Jayjay," he said. He was calm now.
I turned on the tracking device on my phone. Everyone gathered around me. But there was a problem... The tracking device wasn't showing Jayjay's location... Why?! Why wasn't it showing?!
"Edrix and Rory, why isn't the tracking device showing Jayjay's location?" I asked.
Edrix took my phone from my hand and examined it carefully. He looked at me and shook his head...
"Is there a problem?" said Yuri.
"Most likely, his battery is dead, and with his phone off, it's impossible for us to reach him," he said.
Angelo kicked the chair next to him hard and cursed.
"Angelo, calm down, he'll come back," Aunt Gemma said, trying to soothe him.
What if someone kidnapped him? But if they had, I would have received a message because nobody had a problem with Jayjay, they had a problem with me.
Everyone had withdrawn to a corner, lost in thought.
About an hour passed, and there was still no news. Everyone looked very worried, and so did I, but I tried not to show it. I opened my phone and checked the time. It was 8 PM. Then footsteps came, and everyone looked towards the door at the same time, and we saw him.
He was surprised to see us here. He was dressed very revealingly and looked very sexy, but I noticed something... There were bruises and redness on his neck... Did he... sleep with someone... No, he couldn't have done that, could he... No...
"Why are you here?" he asked.
"Where have you been until this hour? Everyone's been looking for you!!!" Angelo shouted. I'm really scared.
"I was actually going to come, but my phone battery died and a storm broke out," he said. It was very clear he was afraid of Angelo.
"Where were you?" Tita Gemma asked.
"I went to the beach we used to go to when we were little. It was the best place to get some fresh air, and I wasn't alone anyway. David was with me. He came to join me later. He even drove me home."
Now I understand why David wasn't here. He was with Jayjay... Wait a minute... Only David was with Jayjay, and Jayjay has redness and bruises on his neck... Could it be... Did Jayjay sleep with David? Damn it! I hope that didn't happen, otherwise I'll bury that David! 😠😠😠

Jayjay's point of view
Everyone was staring at me...or rather, not me, they were staring at my legs. They're all perverts! I looked at Angelo, he seemed calmer. Then my eyes drifted to him...he was staring at me too...I didn't want to, I didn't want to look at him, but I couldn't help but look at him. I rolled my eyes, pretending not to care.
"Go to your room and change," Angelo said, still staring at my legs.
"Okay," I said and went up to my room. As soon as I got there, I locked the door. I stood in front of the mirror and looked at myself. Damn it 😳 There were thousands of bruises and redness on my throat. I hope no one saw them.
I put on a light pink shirt and my shorts nightgown. I also put on my white plush shoes. I put my hair in a messy bun. This was my perfect home outfit. I went downstairs and saw that everyone had left except Yuri and Keifer.
Yuri and Keifer were talking about something. They hadn't noticed me. I went over to them and asked,
"Why didn't you two leave?"
They immediately stopped talking and looked at me.
Yuri smiled and said, "Hi Jay, Angelo wanted to talk to us, so we stayed."
Then my eyes fell on Keifer. She was looking at me too.
For the first time in a long time, we were this close.
Looking at her, it was like I was in another world...
"Jay, are you okay?" Yuri brought me back to reality.
I nodded slightly and turned around and went to the kitchen, made myself some coffee, and went up to my room. They were watching me as I went up to my room.
I entered my room, closed the door, and my eyes fell on the blanket on the bed...the blanket David gave me...
Thoughts of what we had experienced came to mind. I'm such an idiot. Why did I do something like that? It wasn't actually that bad. But still, I felt more peaceful kissing Keifer...
I took the blanket David gave me and went out onto the balcony. The sky was so beautiful tonight...I felt the stars so close to me. As if I could reach out and touch them... I wrapped the blanket around my shoulders and sat down on the chair. One moment I was watching the sky, the next I was drinking my coffee.
I wasn't thinking about anything, I was just enjoying the moment...
Then my eyelids grew heavy, and I fell asleep...
