Chapter 9
Yuri's Perspective
Keifer left.
"What are we going to talk about, Boss?" I asked.
"Yuri, when are we planning to tell Jayjay the truth about the engagement?"
"Not now, things aren't going well between me and Jayjay. He's very confused. I'll tell him myself later, please don't interfere, Boss."
"Okay Yuri, and I have one more thing to ask you. Can you drop Jayjay off at school in the mornings and home after school?"
"Of course, Boss."
"Why is your relationship with Jayjay strained, and it seems like it's strained not just with you, but with the entire E Division?"
"Keifer... he used Jayjay to get revenge on Aries, and the entire E Division participated in this plan. Jayjay found out and broke off his friendship with us. Please don't be angry, Boss, I tried to disrupt the plan many times, but you know Keifer, he's very stubborn," I said.
"Okay Yuri, you can leave," said the Boss.
I went out. I wanted to see Jayjay before going home. He was in his room.
I went to his room and opened the door, and I couldn't believe what I saw. Keifer was there with Jayjay, holding his hand. He saw me and immediately let go of his hand.
But... Keifer said he didn't love Jayjay. I knew... I knew he was lying.
"W-what are you doing here?" I stammered.
"Y-Yuri?"
"Answer my question!"
"Lower your voice, Jayjay will wake up."
"Keifer, answer my question!"
"I've just been drinking, I don't even know why I'm here."
Drunk? I wish you'd come up with another lie, Keifer!
"You just came out of the room, how did you get drunk so quickly?" I asked.
He paused. He was searching for a lie to tell.
"Never mind that, let's go," he said.
He put his arm around my back and led me out of the room. Then he took one last look at Jayjay and closed the door.
"Why are you still here?"
Angelo!
"We're leaving, boss. Yuri wanted to see Jayja one last time, and I was waiting for her," Keifer said. Oh, come on, he's blaming me!
I glared at him angrily, and he just smirked.
"Okay, if you've seen her, go," the boss said.
We both nodded and started going down the stairs.
We said goodbye to Angelo one last time and went outside.
As soon as we got outside, I slapped Keifer hard on the back of the neck.
"Ahhhh!" he groaned.
"What are you doing? Why are you blaming me!" I yelled in his face.
"Sorry, Yuri," he said, smiling.
I ignored him and got into my car and drove away.

Keifer's point of view
We were looking at each other...
"W-what are you doing here?" he asked.
Come on Keifer, find a lie now!
"Y-Yuri"
"Answer my question!"
"Lower your voice, Jayjay will wake up."
"Keifer, answer my question," he said calmly.
"I just drank, I don't know why I'm here," I lied. But he didn't seem to believe me.
"You just left the room, how did you drink and get drunk so quickly?"
What lie am I going to tell now!
Think, Keifer, think...
"Never mind that, let's go," I said, putting my arms around his back and leading him out of the room.
Before closing the door, I looked at Jayjay one last time. I'll miss you, my darling...
"Why are you still here?"
Angelo!
"We're leaving, boss. Yuri wanted to see Jayja one last time, and I was waiting for her," I said, throwing the torch to Yuri.
Yuri glared at me angrily, and I grinned back.
"Okay, if you've seen him, go ahead," the boss said.
We both nodded and started going down the stairs.
We said our final goodbyes to Angelo and went outside.
As soon as we stepped out, Yuri slapped me hard on the back of my neck.
"Ahhhh!" I groaned.
"What are you doing? Why are you blaming me!" she yelled in my face.
"I'm sorry, Yuri," I said, smiling, but my neck still hurt.
She didn't listen and got into her car and drove away.
I got into my car and drove home. But I didn't get very far before I saw him... David...
He was lost in thought. I got out of the car and went over to him, tapping on his car window. He immediately looked at me and rolled down the window.
"K-Keifer? Why are you here?"
"Jayjay was with you and you didn't tell me!"
"I'm sorry, Keifer, I thought you knew."
"I only have one question for you, and answer honestly!"
He shook his head.
"What did you do with Jayjay? Why are there so many red marks and bruises on your throat?"
He paused. My suspicions are seriously getting the better of me...
"K-Keifer, he started it first, and I couldn't resist and went along with it. I'm really sorry!"
Damn it! Why did Jayjay do this?!
"Why would Jayjay do that?"
"I really don't know, I'm still shocked, but he told me to forget everything anyway."
I was barely holding my nerves back. I immediately went and punched a nearby tree. The tree shook.
"Keifer!"
"Shut up! Be thankful I didn't hit you!" I yelled angrily.
"But why are you doing this? Are you jealous? I thought you didn't like Jayjayi," she said.
"Of course I don't like him, I'm just worried about you. If Angelo finds out, you won't survive," I said, but of course it was a lie.
Of course I was jealous of Jayjayi!
"I understand. I'm really sorry, please calm down," she said.
I turned to her. I looked at her briefly, then got in my car and drove away...
I needed to drink...
