Keifer Pov:
I was admiring her and David finshwd talking with her and came towards me and
David: "Come we have to leave"
Keifer: "Can we leave when she leaves, I just want to see her"
David: "Are you mad? If she sees you the whole plan will be destroyed"
Keifer: "Fine, Can I atleast see her for 2 more mins"
David: "Okay"
I stood and admired her and don't why the tears started pouring from my eyes, Maybe because I remembered our moments, does she still like yapping, did her favourites remain the same or it changed?
I was looking at and she turned suddenly and I pulled in because I did not want her to see me and David pulled me away and went towards our car and settled in.
Keifer: "Will she accept our offer?"
David : "At first no, But don't worry I will look into it"
Keifer: "Thanks David "
David : "Never mind but atleast now Jay is back try taking care of yourself"
I nod and we go towards our house.
David: "Before you go into the room, eat something and go"
I nod and join him and we both eat and I retire to my room,
I take the photo frame of her and settled down in the floor, I looked at frame and smiled with tears in my eyes,
Keifer: "I am really happy that you are back, I got see you and admire you after 8 long years, You are still the stubborn Jay Jay I know, but please don't be stubborn on forgiving me, I know I have made huge mistake, I made you suffer for these time alone, Now you don't have to go through anything alone.I hope I still have atleast a little place in your heart."
I hugged that photo frame as if I was hugging her.
Jay's Pov:
The next day I woke up little early to do the baking orders and Finshed them.
I went to check my mails and I received a one from JJ Ltd, Keifer's company, The offer that David was taking about, The offer was really good with potential but taking it would so wrong, so I did not think I just rejected their offer, because I cannot handle the pain of running into him daily.
I was getting ready for my office, Sara and I went together to the office, We went and started working on our project and after a while, I get called into the manager's office.
Jay: "Sir, You wanted to see me?"
Manager: "Yes, Ash come take a seat please"
I took a seat and he started talking,
Manager: "Congratulations on the Win, you really made our company proud" he said
And I nodded politely with a smile.
Jay: "Thanks Sir"
Manager: "Okay, I will come to point, We have received an offer, And it is one in a life time offer,You and Sara will be working with one of new giants"
Jay: "May I know which company? We will be working?"
M: "It is JJ Ltd Watson enterprises"
My face changed immediately When I heard the name.
Jay: "I am sorry sir, but I don't think I can accept it"
M: "But why Ash, it is such a great opportunity, people would kill for such opportunity and If you don't accept, Sara will also not be able to get it because of you."
Guilt spread through, I know Sara also needs an opportunity like this because she has been working hard, I cannot let her down.
Jay: "But sir there should be someway, that She can accept the offer without me right?"
I asked expectantly.
M: "No, They want the architect who has won the best architect award and another architect with whom they work well. Infact you are one of the reason why Sara is getting this opportunity, If you reject it she will also be denied the offer."
I knew it was David's plan because I know he is also smart, But what if it's Keifer's plan, but what does he want from me anymore. But why did they trap me in this situation, They very well knew how to make me stuck in this situation.
M: "Well you have untill tonight to answer, But If I were I wouldn't miss this opportunity, because it makes not only your life but also Sara's life easier, I Hope you make the right decision, If you accept they can set up a contract tomorrow"
Jay: "But why everything is happening so fast sir, I mean"
M: "I know, They are in some kind of need, I think they have a lot of project ahead of them"
I wasn't convinced with what he said but I left and started thinking, Will it be selfish of me to reject this offer, because I know Sara's financial condition, She and I were just living off our salary and sometime we stay broke, she even helped me pay my rent with her savings when I wasn't able to, when I first moved here.
this is such a huge opportunity for her and me, If only it wasn't for Keifer. Would did he have to come back, hasn't he caused enough pain.
