JAY's POV
We left the office and went to the super market and started shopping and I went to a different aisle to get something leaving Sara here, I went to get essential oil and I got struck because I saw a person from my past, it was
David, Keifer's best friend but thankfully he did no notice me yet and I did not know what to do so I quickly left the place because I did not want to interact with anyone from my past.
I quickly ran and saw Sara in the middle of the aisle, I went to her said, " Sara, I have leave right now "
Sara: " just wait 2 mins, I will be done "
J: " No, I am leaving I will call you when I am home"
S:" are you getting your things ?"
J: " No, I will get them afterwards "
After saying that I quickly rushed to my home because I did not want David to see me.
I finally reach home and I can finally breathe now, I settle on the couch and my tears start flowing and all my memories rush back to me
Memory echo:
Jay: " So tell me one of your dreams"
K: " well one of my biggest dream is, I want a build a house for us"
J: "okay you can build the house but I will only design them"
K: " okay ma'am"
And followed by laughters and I quickly come out of it when I hear my phone ringing it was Sara. I picked up her call, I wipe tears and start speaking to her.
Sara: " hello, why did you leave so suddenly?"
Jay: " I got a last minute baking order, I forgot about it, I came to prepare" I felt guilty lying to her.
Sara: " Oh okay and by the way I got your stuff too, I will bring them tomorrow"
Jay: " You didnt have to do that"
Sara: " it's fine"
Jay: " Thanks and by the way I will be working from home tomorrow"
Sara: "what? Why?"
Jay: " I just wanted to stay in home"
Sara: "Well in that case, I am also going to take work from home and join you tomorrow"
Jay: " Okay done"
After that I went and started baking because I know if did anything else everything that I wanted to avoid will come back to me.
I went to sleep after getting tired from baking.
The next day, I heard my door bell ring, it was Sara.
Sara: " Good morning Ash" she said while handling me the groceries
Jay: " Morning and thank you" and we both settled down in couch
Sara: " So what is the plans for today?"
Jay: " I told you already, just work and baking"
Sara: "Okay, what are going wear tomorrow for the event"
Jay: "I don't know, I am not even interested in going, I will wear something "
Sara: " Ash, how could you say like this, it is one of the biggest event and I can't let you wear anything normal"
Jay: " But it's fine"
Sara: "No, we are going shopping this evening and that is final no more excuses"
I did not saying anything because any way she going to take me so I just nodded my head.
We got busy with our work and after that I did some baking and We went to get our dresses for the event.
Sara selected for the both of us, she got a pretty yellow dress while I got a blue dress. After that we returned home and retired to sleep because there will no office tomorrow since we are attending the event.
Keifer's POV
We attended meeting all day and finally settled down in the office when David came,
David: "Keiren is in line do you want to talk?"
Keifer: " Okay"
Keiren: " Hello Kuya, How are you?"
Keifer: " I am fine Keiren, how are studies going? I hope you are doing good"
Keiren: " Ofcourse kuya, are sleeping well"
Keifer: " Yes, I am fine Keiren" I lied because I do not want him to worry.
Keiren: " When are coming to visit me?"
Keifer: "Soon"
Keiren: " Okay, you better come"
I nodded my head and gave him a smile.
I returned to my home and went to my room, I did not know what to do, because I did not have any work. So I started looking at the old picture of Jay and I.
I went through our messages in my old phone,
Jay: " It is so boring without you here"
Keifer: " you can directly say that you miss me"
Jay: " Okay fine, I miss you😭, please come back soon"
Keifer: " I miss you more, don't worry I will come in 2 days to collect my hugs and kisses😘"
Jay: "Who is giving you hugs and kisses"
Keifer: " You after I come back😉"
Jay: "Dream on"
Keifer: " Yeah, that's my dream"
Tears started flowing in my eyes and I see myself asking, "Don't you miss me anymore Jay?"
