Chapter 37
Our story begins from where it ended before.
The scene shifts to Navi and Jake Lee.
Jake Lee –
Breaking the silence, he says, "Let me tell you a secret. Every person who is alive here has a Black Shadow inside them. Some have more, some have less. Watch carefully…"
Jake Lee raises his hand. The Black Shadows start coming out of the bodies of the military soldiers and move into Jake Lee's body.
Navi –
He asks the Black Shadow, "What is happening?"
Black Shadow –
"He is absorbing the Black Shadows into himself. Now he has become even stronger than before. Your chance of surviving is now zero."
The scene shifts to Kartik.
Kartik was shocked when he saw the boatman.
Kartik –
"You are the same statue that I saw earlier."
The statue smiles.
(From the writer's side: The statue looks like a completely white human figure. There is a golden ring shining above its head. Its boat is also completely white. Its eyes are golden, and its hands are glowing with a black aura.)
The statue says, "Come here. I want to talk to you. I have a deal for you in your own language. Think carefully before answering."
Kartik –
He sits down without any fear.
The statue-like man –
"Aren't you afraid?"
Kartik –
"I have no other option. If you wanted to kill me, you would have done it already."
Statue –
"You don't seem to belong to this world. Your aura is different from every human in this world."
Kartik –
"I am someone who plays with people's fate… but today fate is playing with me."
With a cold expression he says,
"Why do you care about that?"
"What do you want from me? Just say it directly. I am getting very bored. Tell me something interesting."
Statue –
"Why are you always in such a hurry?"
"If you want, I can save your life. But you will have to do one task for me."
Kartik –
"Why do you think I would do your task? And what is that task?"
Statue –
"You must protect the life of a certain person. There is a great danger approaching that person. You must stop that danger and bring that person to me."
Kartik –
"Who is that person?"
As soon as the statue shows the face of that person, Kartik becomes surprised. He is a little shocked.
Then he suddenly starts laughing loudly. After a moment he becomes serious and says,
"What does this person have that you want so badly? A servant of a god asking for this?"
Statue –
The statue becomes serious and releases its golden and black aura together. Seeing this, even Kartik begins to sweat slightly.
"That is not something you need to know."
"Now tell me… will you do it or not? Do you want to remain alone in this world? Do you want to wander endlessly through countless worlds?"
He says this with full anger.
Kartik –
"Okay. I will only save that person's life. I will not bring that person to you. If this deal is acceptable to you, then tell me."
Statue –
"Okay, I accept."
"With the little power you have right now, you will never be able to save that person. Take this ring. It will give you power."
The scene shifts again.
We see Navi and Jake Lee.
Navi –
"I have heard enough from both of you. I have been listening to your nonsense for a long time."
He says this to Jake Lee and the Black Shadow.
"Now listen to me. I listen to everyone… but there is someone inside me who listens to no one. I have been trying to stop him from coming out, but you two are not stopping."
Navi suddenly starts laughing loudly in pain. Holding his face and looking toward the sky, only the sound of his laughter can be heard.
Jake Lee and the Black Shadow are both shocked.
"What happened to him?"
Slowly, Navi's eyes turn red.
Navi says –
"Now I will show you… what true evilness really is."
