In the end, even Eugene couldn't get full with just pheromone. He needed water with all the slick his body was producing, and his empty stomach was protesting after the sun had set.
Thankfully, by that time, his head was a bit clearer. The smell of pheromone had become fainter in his nose, signaling that his heat was coming to an end--unfortunately. He allowed Arthur to order food delivery, but followed the alpha to the foyer to take the food, wrapped in a blanket.
Knowing that the blissful scent would be gone shortly, he refused to be parted from the alpha--even in the bathroom.
Who cared. They were going to get married, anyway.
Thankfully, Eugene at least let Arthur wear another shirt. The alpha was thankful that it was fall already; otherwise, he wouldn't be able to wear a turtleneck--because certainly, he had no way of explaining why he had a lot of hickeys around his neck to Hannah.
And they didn't even have sex!
