The room dropped to an awkward silence. At that moment, Damien stared down at everyone, especially Alex. He could stand for anything, but Mocking someone's life, he wouldn't stand for that.
Everyone seemed to be lost in their head, thinking about his outburst.
After few more minutes, Gusto cleared his throat. "His highness is right. We swore an allegiance to serve every citizen of this country and those missing are very much part of this this country's citizen. If we ignored this as if it was nothing, who knows if it will serve as an encouragement to the enemies."
Most of the commanders, nodded.
