Everyone's attention turned towards the voice behind them. They had not expected it because it was a female voice and mostly because she wasn't supposed to know they were going on a mission.
Alex narrowed his eye at the woman standing before them. "What are you doing, Mia?" The irritation in his voice was obvious.
Most of the soldier looked away.
No one wanted to be caught listening to the conversation between the prince and his wife.
Unlike the rest of them, Damien wasn't bothered about her reason for coming.
He turned heading towards the direction of the cave, and some of the soldier followed behind. They already lost enough of their precious time and wasn't ready to lose more for some prince.
They were all silent as they followed behind them.
Their weapons were at the ready and those with the blessings were ready to attack them, too.
No one had bothered to look back to see Alex was still following.
