A Few Days Later – Grades and Reconciliation
After several days of hard work, the professor handed out the grades.
On the papers of Shion and Shiyoung: A+ ... both of them.
Shion laughed innocently: "No way! We got full marks!"
Shiyoung chuckled: "Looks like we're a terrifying duo."
The students applauded, the classroom buzzing with happiness.
Max approached Shiyoung with a smile:
Max: "Listen... what happened is in the past. Let's make up and be friends again."
Shiyoung hesitated, then nodded:
Shiyoung: "Alright... but don't play your games again."
At the same time, Jay sat beside Shion:
Jay: "I know I was wrong... I don't want to lose you. Forgive me?"
Shion looked at her seriously:
Shion: "This is your last chance, Jay."
Jay stood and hugged her:
Jay: "Best friend ever."
After Class
Max whispered to Shiyoung:
Max: "How about coming over to my place tonight? I've got an idea I want you to hear."
Shiyoung raised an eyebrow:
Shiyoung: "My place? Why not yours?"
Max laughed: "You'll be more comfortable there."
Shiyoung shrugged: "Fine."
Meanwhile, Jay whispered to Shion:
Jay: "Come over tonight... I need to show you something important."
Shion: "What's your address?"
Jay, with a mysterious smile: "I'll text it tonight... and make sure to wear something nice."
Shion laughed: "Okay."
That Evening
Shion prepared herself in a simple, elegant dress. Her phone rang—a message from Jay with the address.
She took a taxi to the location.
Arriving, she stood in front of a massive door. She double-checked the address... her heart raced.
It was Shiyoung's house—not Jay's.
She adjusted her hair nervously, took a deep breath, and pressed the doorbell.
Shiyoung's mother appeared.
Shion smiled politely: "Hello, Jay's mom. It's a pleasure to meet you."
The mother raised an eyebrow in surprise:
Mother: "Jay? I don't have a daughter by that name."
