They sat together in the living room, a pile of games in front of them.
Shiyoung asked casually:
Shiyoung: "Do you play video games?"
Shion: "Not much."
Shiyoung: "Perfect... I'll take turns recording our scores."
The match began.
A few minutes later, the screen flashed the results:
Shion: 100 points – Shiyoung: 60 points.
Shiyoung shouted angrily:
Shiyoung: "What?! If you played more, what would've happened?!"
Shion clutched her stomach, laughing uncontrollably.
His mother returned with two cups of hot chocolate topped with marshmallows. She sat down and asked gently:
Mother: "How do you know Shiyoung, dear?"
Shion smiled and replied honestly:
Shion: "How could I not know him? He's the school's notorious troublemaker."
The mother paused for a moment, then laughed heartily.
Shiyoung groaned, covering his face with his hand:
Shiyoung: "Enough already!"
After some light conversation, Shion stood up:
Shion: "I... I should get going."
His mother waved goodbye with a warm smile, while Shiyoung remained silent.
Shion left, feeling a strange, unexpected happiness in her chest. She had never felt so cheerful before.
Back at University – Chaos in the Courtyard
In the university hall, students gathered, wide-eyed.
Shiyoung grabbed Max by his collar and dangled him halfway out of a window.
Shiyoung: "Why do you keep doing this to me, Max?!"
Max shouted in fear:
Max: "You're crazy! Put me down! I'll tell you everything!"
Shiyoung finally pulled him back inside.
Max laughed mischievously, panting:
Max: "Enjoyed yesterday?"
Shiyoung's eyes widened as anger simmered inside him.
Suddenly, he let go of Max and walked away, muttering sarcastically:
Shiyoung: "Ah... what a perfect day."
Students whispered in shock; the tension hung thick in the air.
Meanwhile...
Shion avoided Jay all day at the university, feeling a need for some space. She climbed to the rooftop to breathe in the fresh air.
There, unexpectedly, she ran into Shiyoung.
