2nd day
Ayanokouji POV
It's the second day and it seems that everyone is doing fine so far. We already set up the tents, beds, and even some hammocks for everyone to sleep in. Everyone seems pretty calm as of late which is a good thing but of course I should be a bit weary on what Ryuen is planning since according to Kaguya and Shirogane, there could be some Class C students coming to our camp to potentially sabotage us and take the card in order to get the name of the leader. Also, of all places that they managed to get this information is from Class B's Hikigaya Hachiman. But either way I already told Kei of the situation so he would also be aware. Here are the things that's been going on:
1. Yuuki, Kaguya, and Karma are currently preparing breakfast.
2. Light, Ryuzaki, Tatsuya, and Kirigaya left early and are looking for more spots to take on the island. Our job got easier thanks to them. We'll be able to get more bonus points than the other classes with this level of progress.
3. Sora and Yumeko are playing poker, seems perfectly normal there
4. Akise and Kei are having their own conversation as well as Lelouch and Kururugi.
5. Oreki as usual taking a nap on the hammock. To be honest if he's the type of guy who doesn't conserve energy, then he would've been one of the best in our class.
"So, Ayanokouji, what's the plan?" Katagiri walked up to me and asked
"Well given the information we got; I think we'll be able to guess the leaders correctly and with the added advantage of getting other spots on the island. We'll be guaranteed to get more points in the end" I explained
"Well you sound confident.....well that's what I think since you always talk in a monotone voice"
"Is that wrong?"
"No it's just that I can't tell if you're actually that confident or bored"
"Do I sound boring?"
"O-of course not, seriously do you have any emotions of sorts?"
"I've never felt emotion, at least not once."
"Guess that explains why you never change that blank, gloomy face of yours"
"It's just who I am"
"*sigh*, seriously you should smile at least once. It might get you more friends."
"You're right but I've never smiled in my entire life. Even if I try, I have yet to feel any emotion"
"Man, you can be a buzzkill sometimes" buzzkill? what does that mean?
"Anyways, I think we should get going later" Katagiri said
"Yeah you're right"
After our little talk, it was already breakfast time. We all enjoyed our meals and have some conversations here and there. It was quite fun I have to admit. Also, Yuuki is a pretty good cook, which explains just how delicious our meals were. We all cleaned up and just went on with our business since there's not much going on yet.
"Hey guys! I think someone is hurt right here!"
We heard shouting and it came from Shirogane, I wonder what's going on.
"What is it Shirogane-san?" Kei asked
"Over there" he pointed to a direction just by the trees.
"We're on it, Ayanokouji-san, Karma-san" Kei said as both me and Karma nodded.
We went to where Shirogane pointed and what we saw was a girl. She had silver hair with black ribbons tied to it and she had purple eyes. It looked like someone punched her in the face really hard.
"Hey are you alright?" Karma asked
"y-yeah I'm ok" she said
"You two carry her I'll get the medical kit" Kei said as he ran back to camp while me and Karma helped the girl and carried her to camp. From there we treated some of the obvious wounds and let her drink water as well.
"Thank you, I appreciate the help" she said with a smile. The girl is quite cute not gonna lie.
"What's your name" Kei asked
"Shiina Hiyori" she replied
"Well nice to meet you Shiina-san, oh right which class do you come from?" he asked
"I'm from Class C" the moment she said that, we all looked at each other knowing what this could mean.
"Will you excuse us for a second? Yuuki-san please take care of our guest." Kei said as Yuuki nodded.
We moved elsewhere to an isolated location where they couldn't hear us. Most of us huddled up and started discussing some things.
"Class C? she must be suspicious" Katagiri said
"Yeah, I mean with the information that Hikigaya-kun gave us. I don't think we should trust her" Kaguya said.
"Hold on, I know she's suspicious, but we can't say for certain since she has yet to do anything" Karma said
"You're right but I think it would be better to keep our guard up around her, if this is Ryuen's plan on trying to guess the leader, then we should make sure she doesn't find out"
"What do you think, Ayanokouji-san?" Kei asked me
"Well we can't trust her since she's from Class C, but I don't think she would be the type of person that does Ryuen's dirty work" I answered
"Are you sure? she must be a spy trying to get close to us just so she can take the card" Katagiri said
"I do agree a bit with Ayanokouji" Shirogane joins in
"I mean we should consider that she might be forced to doing Ryuen's dirty work. Maybe she didn't want to do this" he added
"That is a possibility, but we can't say for sure" Kei said
"Well why don't we just ask her? besides if she's with the enemy then wouldn't be the logical answer is to get some information from her?" Sora asked as he joins in along with Shiro.
"Yeah but we can't just leave her in the wilderness alone. She has nowhere to go and if she ends up going back to Ryuen, who knows what he might do to her" Kaguya said with a hint of worry.
"Yeah I guess you're right" Karma said
"But still, she might be a spy for Class C, I just don't trust her" Katagiri argued
"I know but we can't just kick her out like this Katagiri-kun" Kaguya also argued
"Yeah but what if she pulls something on us like figuring out our leader and then what?" Sora said
"We can't say for sure, but Kaguya is right, we can't just leave a defenseless girl in the middle of nowhere" Shirogane agreed with Kaguya
"Ok this argument isn't going anywhere. any other opinions?" Kei asked the others
"I also agree with Kaguya-san, I don't think it would be nice of us to leave her alone in a forest." Yumeko said as she also gets involved.
"I agree with them as well" Kururugi said
"Let's not be that naive Suzaku, yes we shouldn't leave her alone in that forest there but trusting her is a different story. I suggest we should ask her some questions and check if she has anything suspicious on her especially given that she brought a bag with her" Lelouch said
"Well, I guess I wouldn't mind asking a few questions to her, any objections?" Kei asked everyone
"Well since there's none, let's get to work"
After our discussion we went back to camp and decided to talk to Shiina.
"Ohh you're back" Shiina said
"We want some answers" Kei said as we all looked at her and Shiina seems to be quite nervous.
"What kind of answers?" Shiina asked
"Answers regarding your class, did Ryuen send you here?" Lelouch questioned
"I-I..yes he did but I don't want any trouble" she said anxiously
"Are you sure you're not just here to sabotage us?" Kei asked
"That bag is quite suspicious, is it alright if we take a look?" he added
"Ummmm sure" she answered as she gave the bag to Kei.
"Wait" a voice was heard and surprisingly it came from Shiro.
"If it's a girl's bag then she might have some female belongings there, let Yuuki and I search"
"Ohh ughh you may be right; I mean I wouldn't want to accidentally stumble upon something.....y-you know, those kinds of items" Kei said while embarrassed.
"Ohh right I didn't think about that" Karma said while scratching his head with embarrassment.
"For someone who calls himself a genius, you can be a bit stupid sometimes" Lelouch laughed at Kei which he ignored while the others tried to hold their laughter well except for Karma.
Yes it's quite silly even I didn't take it into consideration. Social norms are still quite foreign to me after all.
"Good idea Shiro-san, boys if you don't mind" Yuuki said as she took the bag from Kei. Both her and Shiro are look through her stuff.
"Just as I thought" Shiro said as both her and Yuuki took out some equipment for spying purposes such as a camera and a radio transceiver which confirms that she is a spy. I heard Kururugi sighed in disappointment, I guess hoped that she wouldn't have some sort of ulterior motive. Shiro and Yuuki gave us the two objects to Kei.
"Well you won't be needing these. I guess you can stay, after all I'm sure you wouldn't do anything bad to us" Kei said as he extended his hand to her.
"Sure I guess I have no choice" Shiina said with a smile.
While that is resolved, the four people that were sent to find new spots have arrived.
"We're back!" Kirigaya shouted
"Ayanokouji, here" Tatsuya said as he threw a notebook at me, and I caught it with ease. I looked at the notebook immediately and it contained a map of the island with red pen marks which must be where they marked all the different spots on the island.
"Well done" I said to them
"It was no problem; I think you should renew our spot now while we have the chance." Light said2
"Sure, Katagiri, follow me"
"Umm ok" he said as we both leave to renew our spot.
Meanwhile somewhere else on the island
??? POV
"So, this is it?" I said to myself.
I'm currently in front of the cave where Class A resides. The entrance was covered by a curtain. Guess they must be hiding one of the spots.
"Hey! stop right there!" I heard a voice, and it was a Class A student along with the others that followed.
"Hold on, I'm not here for trouble unless if you want to have this silly vacation end with all of your bones broken" I said with an arrogant tone while raising my hands up.
"Hold it!" I heard a voice, and it was coming from the cave. About time you show up.
"What's with all the commotion?"
"Oh Katsuragi, there you are"
"It's you again what do you want?" he asked
"Hold on, no need to get hasty besides I know that you and Ryuen have a little deal"
"Hmm!? how did you know that?" he said sounding quite shocked
"I have my ways, but you think it's considered betrayal on your part since I bet Sakayanagi doesn't tolerate traitors." I said while smirking
"I don't know what you're talking about, but you should leave now"
"Really? but do you even know that you have your own mole in your class right now?"
"What's that?"
"Never mind" I chuckled a bit
"Besides I have something for you" I said before giving him a photo.
"Huh! this can't be true" Katsuragi said
"Why would you want to do this?" he asked
"Listen, when I give you the name of the leader of Class D then you should do the same"
"And why would I do that?"
"Because I don't intend on helping that pathetic class. Besides I'm doing those defectives a favor" I said as I had a wide grin on my face.
"I see, very well then but why would you want our leader's name?"
I went closer to him and whispered something to him
"Because Ryuen sent me"
