𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗢𝗩 (𝙋𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙛 𝙑𝙞𝙚𝙬)
It was a normal day. The sun was shining brightly. Amy, Knuckles, Tails and Sticks were playing volleyball at the beach, but Sonic was in his shack watching T.V.
Later :
Amy called Sonic through the communicator, "Hey, Sonic! We're playing volleyball. You wan-"
"Can't. Busy doing something extremely important."
"Let me guess. Watching TV?"
"You say that like television isn't a cornerstone of civilization."
And he hung up.
"Ugh!" Amy clenched her fists while stomping her foot on the sand.
"He's not coming, is he?" Tails threw the volleyball towards Knuckles.
Then Amy shook her head as a 'NO'.

Hmph! Why doesn't Sonic want to join us? What's so fun in watching that boring T.V?
"Finally. Now we can use my strategy." said Knuckles, spinning the volleyball on his finger-tip.
"You don't have a strategy." added Tails.
"Exactly." He nodded, narrowing his eyes at the volleyball. "They'll never expect it."
I snapped out of my thoughts and replied, "Okay. New match!"
Just as we were about to start, a blue van arrived with a smooth turn and stopped beside our volleyball court. We stopped the game for a moment and walked over.
Then, an unknown female hedgehog stepped out.
She talked to the driver, followed by some head nods.
Then the driver nodded and drove away.
She had blue fur, red stripes on the arms. Light blue T-shirt with a white stripe. Purplish trousers. A red symbol of lighting bolt on her forehead. Golden rings on her wrists and ankles, which I assume were inhibitor rings.
Our attention shifted to a card which she just took out from her pocket.
Probably an address or something?
"Do you know her?" Sticks whispered and I shook my head as a 'No'.
"I guess she is new here." I whispered back.
Then she (the unknown hedgehog) looked at us and then at the card which was on her hand.
Then, she sighed and rubbed her ear while coming nearer, "Hello, there.. pink hedgehog."
What's with the flat tone? And couldn't she say 'excuse me'?
Then Sticks opened her but I slapped a hand over her mouth and said, "You look lost. And mildly irritated." I stepped closer, "That usually means someone needs directions."
"I don't like asking for help," she sighed and continued, "but here we are. Well, I am new here and I can't find this address." She replied showing us the card but I couldn't see it properly.
"Oh, I see.. Then why did you let the van go?"
"My furnitures are in the van and the driver also doesn't know the address. He was bored while waiting so I let him go for now." She replied. "He is probably roaming around"
"Oh, will you show me the card again? Maybe we could help y-"
"Wait, Amy! We can't help her!" Sticks whisper-yelled.
"But why not?" I put my hands on my hips.
"Classic stranger behaviour. First it's directions, then suddenly your organs are catalogued." Sticks exclaimed whike throwing her hands up in the air.
"Sticks, you can't accuse every new person of organ theft!" I whisper-yelled.
"Well, my name is Sonica, Sonica the hedgehog." She (the unknown hedgehog who was actually Sonica) said.
I bet she heard what Sticks said. "Oh, uh... I am sorry on the behalf of my friend here..."
"It"s fine." She said while looking at the sea.
"By the way, my name is Amy Rose. This is Sticks, Tails and Knuckles." I said while pointing at each of them as they waved their hands as a 'Hi' but I guess Sticks hadn't let her guard down yet.
"Sonica, huh?? Well are you really n-" I again cut off Sticks in the middle and said, "Nice to you meet you, Sonica." I held out my hand which she didn't shake for.. her reasons.
She looked exhausted. Like someone who hadn't smiled in years.
Which honestly made Knuckles smiling nearby kinda terrifying by comparison.
Then it started raining. . .
"So, which-"
"It was nice meeting you but I have to find this address soon. It has started raining."
But before anyone could say a word, she.. ran very quickly, leaving a blue blur behind and disappeared in a few seconds.
"Whoa!"
"Wow! She can run as fast as Sonic too??"
"I guess so..." I blinked, then looked up at the dark clouds as it started raining more heavily. "Uh, let's go home, guys—"
Everyone nodded and ran towards their respective homes including me.

I reached home, definitely not on time enough to save myself from the rain and cold!
Ugh.
I quickly dried myself up with a towel and changed my clothes before resting on my couch, looking out the window.
Then suddenly, I remembered Sonica. I hoped she found the address. I could have helped her if Sticks hadn't interrupted.
Oh, well. What could I do about what's already done? So I just watched my favourite T.V show with some snacks
Time sure flies by when you are busy with screens. I didn't realize when the rain stopped. But after I did, I decided to go to Meh Burger and call everyone else there.

Ugh, the heavy rain wasn't letting me hear the T.V properly. Great!
Turning the volume on full, I grabbed a chillidog.
Few minutes later :
"Wow! That was a great episode! I wonder when's the next episode." I said to myself while stretching my arms and turned off the T.V. That's when I realized that it had already stopped raining. The T.V sure was loud.
Then, I heard a honk. Loud and noisy.
I went to see it through the window and saw that someone was shifting here.
Two people were carrying out the furnitures from the van to inside the house.
"New neighbor, huh?" I muttered to myself, "Hopefully not another evil scientist. The property value's barely recovered from Eggman."
Then I got a call from Amy and she decided that we all meet at Meh Burger.
I got there in seconds, obviously.
But to my surprise. . . Amy, Sticks, Tails and Knuckles were already there.
How did they arrive so fast?
