Ever since I transferred to this school, it just feels like starting a new life. I had to leave the people that I once distanced myself from and eventually became close with, from being forced to start again. I guess the saying "nothing lasts forever" can be cruel yet truthful, but it wasn't my choice to transfer. So once again, I've become a loner and what's worse is that I'm placed in a class where I'm surrounded by nice girls. And I've said it to myself before that I hate nice girls.
I sighed thinking that it's a replay of who I was when I started high school. This girl who was it again? Ichinose? she's nice. Maybe the nicest girl I've met since...well, that's a story for another time. She said something about Class S. At first, I wasn't intrigued since I wouldn't be interested in such stuff, but I thought back at what sensei said that it is a class filled with the smartest and most talented students that managed to meet certain standards. For once in my life, it piqued my interest. Maybe I'll take a look at Class S at some point. See if I could challenge any of them. See who's really the strongest. Normally I'd call myself pathetic and a loser but that's changed. Now I want to have a school life where someone can provide me the joy I once lost. Someone who I can defeat.
Sakayanagi POV
I'm currently heading to where Class S is residing along with Katsuragi-kun. If he really is in that class, then after a long time of waiting. This will be the time for me bury the Masterpiece, the one who his father created an emotionless monster, the false genius. Kiyotaka Ayanokouji. But I wonder though, I remembered that Mashima-sensei said that the class is filled with geniuses and other talented students there. Even though Ayanokouji-kun is my target, I guess I don't mind burying them as well if necessary.
As we finally reached Class S' room, I was greeted by another student across me. She was a girl with long black hair who seems to have an aura of superiority, not that it matters of course. To me she is far less superior compared to me even with such an aura.
"fufufu, you're here to visit Class S too?" I asked while smiling
"Yes I am, who are you?" she asked me
"I'm Sakayanagi Arisu, and yours?"
"Horikita Suzune"
"kukuku, looks like I'm not the only one who's taken an interest in this class" we both looked at the person who spoke, and it was a boy with magenta hair. I can tell that he's not here pleasantries.
"Ohh you guys are visiting as well?" another voice joined in and this time it was a girl with strawberry-blonde hair.
"Why yes, care to join us?" I asked
"Of course, by the way, my name is Ichinose Honami"
"I'm Sakayanagi Arisu, nice to meet you Ichinose-san" I greeted back
"I don't have time for introductions; besides I'm only interested in seeing this class for myself and seeing what makes them special" my, my, this boy is quite violent it seems. He's definitely dangerous for sure, but if violence is the only thing that he's capable of, then I don't think he can win against me.
The magenta-haired boy opened the door and we followed, we looked at the classroom, it definitely seems normal since most of them are minding their own business.
"Hello, is there something you need?" a voice called out to us. The boy had light-pink hair with green eyes, and he seems to be as short as me. As he spoke it seems that the other students have now acknowledged our presence.
"kukuku, we're only here to take a peek at Class S that's all" he said as he looked around suddenly glared at a particular person, I look towards where he was looking, and it was a raven-headed boy with eyes resembling amethyst. He was leaning on this chair as it seems that he is aware of his presence returned a glare at the boy. I wonder if they are familiar with each other
As I continue to look, there he is in the back. It wasn't my own imagination, but this is definitely him. I finally found you Ayanokouji-kun. As I slowly walked towards him, I also saw Ichinose-san walking towards one of the students.
"Ohh Shinomiya-san? you're in this class?" she asked as she was talking to a girl with black hair with a black-red ribbon tied to it.
"Umm, yes, sorry that we lied about which class we come from. I mean our sensei told us we should keep it a secret until May 1st"
"Don't worry about it, our sensei did explain it to us, so it's alright" looks like Ichinose-san has made a friend for herself in another class. A class that even I was clueless about.
"You're in this class too Lelouch? hmph, it seems that you weren't kidding about the fact that there are others like you. Guess my little visit is worth my while after all"
"You seemed to be a bit clueless Ryuen, anyone of us could beat you if they wanted to" looks the raven-haired boy knows who he is huh? but I ignored their little conversation as I finally reached Ayanokouji-kun.
Ayanokouji POV
The girl with a cane walked towards me but something about her feels familiar, I know that Karma already told me that her name was Sakayanagi and yet why do feel like I know her from somewhere before. As she approached me, Katagiri also noticed her as she walked towards me.
"It's been a long time Ayanokouji-kun, in fact it's been 8 years and 243 days to be exact" hold on, does she know me? Based on the fact that she mentioned the number of years and days is already suspicious enough but at the same time a bit uneasy. I don't recall ever knowing her and yet she's familiar to me somehow.
"Just who exactly are you?" I asked as she comes closer to me and whispered something to my ear.
"I know you're from the White Room" as she said it my eyes widened; does she know my past? I looked at her and she was wearing a smug smile. Maybe she does know, but how much?
I composed myself as she continued to talk. "Don't worry, I will not expose you, my only intention is to bury the false genius." As she said some of the students who were sitting near me noticed our interaction even Karma who was in the front. I sighed and looked back at her.
"Can you bury me though?"
Almost everyone had their eyes on us, and some were a bit uneasy and were silent, others are intrigued especially that magenta-haired boy. Even Katagiri was a bit shocked from the sudden change of atmosphere I created.
"I look forward to our battle, but for now, I'll take my leave." She said as she walked away.
"Katsuragi-kun, let's leave" I saw her as well as that other student prepare to walk out of the classroom but to my surprise, Karma stopped them.
"Where do you think you're going"
She stopped dead in her tracks. As she looked back at the boy still wearing that smug smile.
"What's this about burying the false genius nonsense anyway? And how do you even know about Ayanokouji-kun?" He asked
"Fufufufu, I'd be glad to answer that question Akabane-kun but I cannot since it doesn't concern you"
"Is that right? You did remember what I said back when I went to Class A's room? I want a challenge from you and you accepted it. You challenge one of us, then you have to go through me first" he said with a more arrogant tone, both Karma and Sakayanagi were staring at each other neither of them even making a move.
"I did but that was until I realised that Ayanokouji-kun was in this class, but speaking of class, you lied didn't you? About being a senpai from a different class?"
"So what if I did? You're already aware of this class now. But this ain't an ordinary class. It's a class with some of the best people that I've met. Yeah some of them may not look like much to you but I can assure you."
"Anyone of them can defeat you, Sakayanagi-san" he said with a tone that I've never heard from him before. His confidence is different, he looked more extreme with his eyes looking wild and his facial expressions reminded of how Katagiri changed his expression.
Silence befell for a bit, no one could say a word. As I looked around I noticed that Ryuen who was also watching this event unfold grinned at the situation before him. Then she laughed.
"Fufufufufufu, I guess I must've underestimated you a bit Akabane-kun. What you said is true, this isn't an ordinary class indeed. However my only target has been Ayanokouji-kun but you on the other hand, I don't mind it if I can also bury you too."
"Funny I had the same idea"
Both of their stares are as cold as ice. Their aura that of confidence is showing. Karma wasn't intimidated by Sakayanagi. He really wanted to challenge her.
"I think this has been a fruitful visit, come Katsuragi-kun, let us leave now"
"Very well then" Katsuragi said as they left the classroom.
There was silence for a few moments as Ryuen laughed.
"Well now, this class is truly something. I think I've seen enough" Ryuen said as he plans to leave but I heard Lelouch's voice.
"Leaving so soon?" As he was about to leave, Ryuen looked back.
"Are you planning to fight me? Kuku, then I'll do it right now if you want" he said with a smirk.
"I told you, I will not resort to violence like you Ryuen. There are other methods for me to defeat you without lifting a finger" Lelouch said
"Is that so? Well then I'll be looking forward to crushing you and the rest of this class. Just you wait" he said as he also has left the class.
"Guess I'll be leaving as well, I'll see you later then Shinomiya-san" Ichinose said as she waved goodbye to Kaguya and the rest.
Everyone from the other classes left except for Horikita who hasn't said a single word yet. I decided to approach her.
"So this was your class the entire time, you were lying about being a second year" she said clearly somewhat irritated but calm nonetheless.
"Sorry about that, but our sensei told us not say which class we come from since he said it would ruin the surprise" I said
"So if this class is supposed to be the most talented then how come you aren't ahead of Class A then?" She asked
"Well let's say that we used our Class points to buy certain information"
"So that's how you were able to figure everything out even on the first day right?"
"Yes" while it's true that our Class points had to be deducted on the first day, the other reason which I decided not to tell her is the fact that there are some of us that slept or slacked off at one point namely Oreki and Karma respectively but she doesn't need to know that.
"And those scores on the board?" She asked while pointing at the board with the results of the quiz.
"Just like you said we're a talented class, you said you were superior back when I visited Class D and here you are with 0 points" Horikita raised a brow, she's clearly bothered about what I said.
"You don't need to insult me"
"It's not an insult, I merely stated the facts, however you can get your class to be stronger and you might be able to reach Class A"
"Huh?" She had a confused look on her. It is normal to be confused about it since an enemy class is telling them to be stronger.
"What do you mean?" she asked
"I won't tell you, but since you're my enemy Horikita, it wouldn't be interesting if your class falls apart so soon"
"I'll give one piece of advice, and if you figure it out then you can reach your potential" I said
"Then what is it?"
"Find others to join you, that's all I'm going to say. Find yourself allies to join you"
"I told you, I'd rather be alone"
"Then you'll never beat me or any class if you continue to think like that"
Horikita looked displeased by my words, I know what you're thinking. Why would I help a class that is classified as defectives? Simple, just like what I said to myself, I wanted a challenge where my opponent actually puts up a fight. It would be disappointing if I destroy her class soon so I plan on at least giving her advice and help her if she needs it.
"Tch! You're trying to help me but I'd rather do things myself, but thanks for the advice. Not like I need it or anything." She said as she finally leaves the class as well.
So those are the students from the other classes. I already have information on them thanks to our intel on the second day. But the thing that I wasn't expecting was that girl, Sakayanagi from Class 1-A. She claims to know me and even knows about the White Room, I don't know if she is a challenge to me or not but it is interesting either way. Ichinose from Class 1-B is according to Kaguya's information that she is nice and someone you can trust but I have a sense that it's not gonna help her get anywhere since according to Kaguya, she's too nice which isn't enough of a quality to lead a class. Ryuen from Class 1-C is someone who wouldn't hesitate to use violence, now he would be as interesting of an opponent as Sakayanagi, but I'd wait to see if there is any progress from him. Finally, Horikita from Class 1-D, I already know her a bit. Despite her having a bit of a superiority complex. She can be as capable of a challenge as the others. I learned that Hirata is the leader but I think that if Horikita is the one that leads Class D. Then they could potentially be a challenge in the future. My question is however....
