Lelouch POV
I was currently walking in a corridor along with Suzaku, as well as both Kirigaya and Yuuki. As we made it to the room which was Class 1-C, we immediately heard a noise inside. It was coming from the room where Class C is.
"What do you think is going on in there?" Kirigaya asked
"Well let's find out then, but I think it would be better if we observe from afar before making any interactions" I said
The three of them nodded in agreement as we stayed where we are and just observed the class. The first thing I noticed was a boy with magenta hair which was at shoulder length. He was calmly walking towards a green haired boy that stood up, the magenta boy grabbed him by his collar and said something to him. I can't make out what he said from here but then suddenly the green haired boy tried to punch him but was blocked immediately and punched him back.
Suzaku suddenly moved from where he stood but I stopped him knowing what will happen.
"Lelouch! what are you doing?"
"What am I doing? I am simply making sure that you don't get yourself into trouble"
"What do you mean Lelouch? Shouldn't we do something?" Kirigaya said.
"There is nothing we can do, besides there are surveillance cameras in every classroom you know" I answered back
"Then should we at least report him to the school? Yuuki suggested
"That wouldn't be necessary" I said calmly as the three of them were confused by my answer.
"Then at least let me deal with this right now"
"I said no"
"But-"
"Don't be a fool, even if you were to interfere with this conflict. You will only inflict punishment on yourself, recklessly barging in would lead to unforeseen consequences."
I can tell Suzaku wanted to retort back but he calmed himself down.
"Sorry, I just wanted to protect that student" he said with a low voice
"Don't worry about it, but let's stay for now until we make our move"
Looking at the three, Suzaku stood in place as I told him, Kirigaya seemed troubled by the situation, it seems that he also wanted to help that student, the same with Yuuki who had a worried look on her face. We continued to see how things are unfolding in the room. The boy with magenta hair smashed the green-haired boy's face on his own desk. It must've hurt for sure, since I could slightly see blood dripping from his nose.
"Wait you said there are surveillance cameras, right? then why on earth is he doing this in full view of it?" Kirigaya asked
"When you think about it. Class C wouldn't be able to report him since he's in their class meaning if any of try to interfere with the fight, they would be punished themselves. Additionally, there wouldn't be a possibility of the entire class getting punished for just a single student's action. Recording or reporting it ourselves would be pointless since we are the outsiders in this situation. The only way for Class C to report this and provide evidence is Class C themselves but as I mentioned, they can't, and you know why?" I asked the three
They were quite puzzled by my question but either way I answered it for them
"Because he is in control of them" I pointed at the magenta haired boy.
"I get it now, so you're saying none of the students from Class C can't report or saying anything to the school because of him" Yuuki understood the situation and it seems the other two agree with that as well.
"Yes, they would likely be punished by him before he himself would get punished"
"I see, guess that means he can do whatever he wants, and no one can stop him?" Kirigaya asked with a hint of disbelief
"I didn't say that there's "no one " that can stop him" that's when I decided to make my move and head into the classroom.
"Wait you're going in now?"
"Of course, besides I think I've seen enough" I said as I walked towards classroom and opened the door with no hesitation as the three followed as well.
"kuku, looks like we have some unwanted guests, who are you?" the boy asked
"My names Lelouch, his is Suzaku Kururugi, Kirigaya Kazuto, and Yuuki Asuna, who are you?"
"You've got some nerve waltzing into my class unannounced, fine then, I'm Ryuen Kakeru, and I'm the leader of this pathetic class"
I raised a brow at Ryuen's introduction. But either way, I walked towards an empty seat and picked it up and put in front of the classroom.
"What do you want and why are you here? Ryuen asked
I didn't answer at first as I took my seat that was facing the entire class, I crossed my legs as I stared at everyone just like when I became emperor. Ryuen seems irritated when I ignored him.
"I don't want anything from you, besides I should be asking the questions"
"hmph, you think you're that tough huh?
"I was just merely observing your actions, and I became curious about it, that's all"
"Ohhh? so you were watching?"
"Yes, I would've just observed the events that were unfolding, but I want to confirm something, you are well aware that there are surveillance cameras in every classroom and yet you decided to enact violence knowing it would get you in trouble, why is that?"
"Surprised? listen I merely used violence in order to put those in their place, simple as that"
"So, you're taking your entire class hostage using violence?! why would you do that?!" Kirigaya suddenly spoke with a hint of anger.
"Kuku, I already told you, I simply put them in their place since I'm in charge of them after all"
"Besides violence is the most powerful and effective weapon, if used correctly then people can follow you like sheep in a herd" Ryuen said as if he's the puppet master and the rest of his classmates are nothing more than puppets for him.
"I could even force you to submit as well, or would I rather do it to your companions first?"
Ryuen with a wide grin looked at the three, both Suzaku and Kirigaya stood their ground while Yuuki is starting to get a bit worried by that threat. Given what he's capable off, he could definitely do it now but...
"Then do it"
"Huh?"
"If you want to beat us all down and maybe take all of our points away then isn't it logical to perform this violent act of yours?"
"kukuku, you entertain me Lelouch. Are you certain that you can beat me with your own strength?"
It was silent in the classroom, none of us made a move, I was trying to discern if he is capable of performing this act of his. It would normally be stupidity on his part if he attacked but, in this case, he knew he could get away with it if he wanted to since his class couldn't report him.
"Everyone" Kirigaya addressed the class
"Why aren't any of you reporting this to the school?"
Everyone in the class couldn't respond, most of them are reluctant to answer.
"What a shame" I said since there isn't anyone who could answer his question which is enough justification that they are definitely afraid to speak up.
"Then tell me Ryuen, do you deserve to lead this class?" I gave him a glare as I asked
"Of course, I do and what gives you the right to question me?"
"Because the way I see it, you mistake yourself in thinking that you are a leader, but in reality, you are nothing more but a pathetic tyrant." I said with an arrogant tone.
Silence fell upon the room again; Class C was stunned; it seems that the class at this point are used to seeing Ryuen belittling them but the fact that I spoke the way I did dumbfounded them even Kirigaya and Yuuki as well. There was a minute of silence until he laughed
"Is this a challenge?! so what if I'm a tyrant what does that matter to you?"
"A true leader leads through admiration and respect, trusting his or her followers. Someone capable of achieving results. A leader is someone who is well-liked and lead their followers through better examples."
"Yours on the other hand Ryuen, is that of violence and forcing others to do things your way. Now that another imposing figure has appeared before you, your violence means nothing, and nobody will have a reason to follow you."
After my little speech, I notice that Class C was in awe and bewilderment by my words. I doubt that he would change anytime soon but since he is from an enemy class, it wouldn't be interesting if he didn't put up a fight.
As I concluded, I saw Yuuki walking towards the green-haired boy.
"Are you alright?" she asked with a smile
The boy looked flustered when he saw her and blushing?? I guess given Yuuki's looks, most normal high school boys would've fallen for her if someone like her walks up to them.
"I-I'm fine" he said
"I'm Yuuki Asuna" she held her hand
"Ishizaki Daichi" he said lowly
"Nice to meet you Ishizaki" she said as she goes back to the front with us.
"It's getting late, I think we should all leave now." I said as looked at the clock which read 15:52
The students left the classroom including the four of us, Ryuen spoke up.
"You think this over?!" Ryuen said clearly angry at this point
"If you want to provide me with any challenge, I suggest you grow strong first. I can assure you, I'm not the only one you should watch out for"
A loud thud suddenly reverberated around the room as I saw Ryuen punched one of the desks.
"Are you kidding me, you come here and dare to lecture me?!! just who the hell are you!?"
"I'm Lelouch, remember it" I said as I we left the classroom.
As we walked through the corridors in silence, Suzaku spoke and broke the silence.
"I'd like ask, why did you want to enroll in a school like this in the first place?"
"I guess you could say that I wanted a different kind of challenge. Something that for once doesn't concern me bringing an entire country to its knees"
Suzaku was confused at first but understood it, before I came to this school, I told him that don't want to live a normal life and wanted to find something that would satisfy my ambitions. So, I chose this school since it was the most prestigious school I could find. For the first time in 7 years, I'm finally enjoying something and striving for a goal, and it seems that my best friend understood it.
"Umm what do you mean by bringing an entire country to its knees?" I look over my shoulder and it was Kirigaya who asked me with bewilderment.
I sighed and answered "It's nothing"
