At Namjoon's place, y/n and Namjoon are in the living room watching a movie. After the movie ended, Namjoon prepared Jjajangmyeon, one of his favorites, for y/n to try.
"Y/n, the noodles are ready. I hope you like them," Namjoon said with a smile. "Wait? Isn't this your favorite noodle dish? Are you really okay with sharing it with me?" y/n asked, puzzled. "Well, I'm doing my best to cheer you up after what happened with Suga, so sharing is not a big deal. Go ahead and give them a try," Namjoon said, handing y/n a bowl of Jjajangmyeon and some chopsticks.
Y/n thanked Namjoon as she picks up the chopsticks and began to eat.
The instant the noodle touched her mouth, it transported her to outer space. A big smile spread across her face as she eagerly went for seconds.
Namjoon noticed this, dropped his chopsticks, and burst into laughter.
Y/n, with her mouth full, looked up and locked eyes with Namjoon, freezing in place. Feeling embarrassed, she quickly slurped the noodle and turned away.
Namjoon stood up, took a napkin, and approached her. "Why are you embarrassed?" Namjoon asked, still laughing. "I'm embarrassed because my mouth is messy from the sauce and you saw me shove all the noodles in at once," y/n explained, trying to cover her face.
Namjoon assured y/n that everything was perfectly fine. It was just the two of them at his place, and would anyone find out about this?
Namjoon, holding the napkin, and began wiping the sauce off y/n's mouth.
As he did this, y/n chose to avoid looking at him.
"He's so close again. I can still hear his heartbeat just for me. Sure, I went through a tough breakup with Suga, but here I am at Namjoon's place, enjoying his favorite noodles. But Suga said that Namjoon was stalking me. I mean, I knew he was because I kept spotting him in random places without any reason. This might sound a bit crazy, but if I give Namjoon another chance, I wonder if he would behave like he did in our first year of high school or if he would be different," y/n reflected as Namjoon finished.
Y/n takes Namjoon's right hand and inquires, "Do you want to try again?" Namjoon, caught off guard, grasps y/n's left hand and replies, "If that's what you wish, then okay."
What Namjoon didn't realize was that y/n was playing with fire to understand why he still held resentment towards her from six years prior. Conversely, y/n was unaware that Namjoon was also playing with fire, meticulously strategizing to reveal her true self when the moment is right.
Namjoon drops y/n off at her apartment and then drives away. Y/n inputs the code for her apartment door and steps inside, where she finds her parents crying in the living room. Y/n hurries over to them and asks what happened. Her parents explain that they saw the news about her breakup with Suga in an article. Y/n reassures them that breaking up was the right choice because her ex came to town and messed things up. "Suga's ex is back? You mean Ha-Kyung?" Y/n's mom asked. "Yes, dear, it's the same Ha-Kyung, the famous actress you admired so much. I didn't expect her to return to Korea," y/n's dad replied.
Y/n informed her parents that she needed some space due to the painful breakup she experienced with Suga just hours before. Her parents acknowledged her request and retreated to their rooms while y/n headed to hers. Upon returning to his apartment, Namjoon began receiving messages from the group chat, and the things were not looking good.

Jungkook: Suga, you have some explaining to do. Why is Ha-Kyung here?
Suga: That's a valid question. She's back in Korea because her business in the States is done.
Jungkook: Doesn't she have an elegant boyfriend?
Suga: No, she doesn't have an elegant boyfriend.
Jimin: That still doesn't explain why she chose to be with us, especially near you, Suga.
J-Hope: I agree with Jimin. Plus, she starts flirting with you, holding your hand, and kiss you. Even y/n noticed all of that.
Jin: Y/n saw that?
Taehyung: Yes, she did. She began to cry slowly. And people around us started to gossip about it.
Suga: Sure, Ha-Kyung's actions were a complete misunderstanding, but that doesn't change the fact that—
Jungkook: It doesn't change the fact that you hurt y/n badly. So, what will you do now? Go back to her? This isn't the first time you've hurt y/n.
Jin: Did Suga hurt y/n before? When and where did it happen?
Jungkook: Remember that time when Suga was dating Ha-Kyung? Y/n ran to you crying. Do you recall what y/n told you that day?
Jin: She said Ha-Kyung told Suga to stop being friends with him and to keep his distance.
Jungkook: See what I mean, Suga? She's manipulative.
Suga: No, guys, she's not manipulative.
Taehyung: So what is she then? The crazy ex or the manipulator?
Suga: She's the crazy ex.
Jimin: Do you think y/n will stop hanging out with us after everything that happened? The news spread quickly, and I'm concerned about her parents.
J-Hope: I believe y/n's parents will be fine, but whether y/n wants to continue hanging out with us is her choice.
Namjoon: If I were in her position, I think she would return to hang out, but if Suga is around, she might not come.
Jin: You're right, Namjoon! Wait, y/n is calling me. I'll be back soon.

Jungkook: Suga, I'm still waiting for your reply.
Suga: What reply?
Jungkook: Are you going back to your crazy ex?
Suga: Right now, I'm a mess because of what happened with y/n, but I still have some feelings for Ha-Kyung.
Jimin: Suga, no, you didn't just say that.
Taehyung: You're going back to her?
J-Hope: You must be joking.
Suga: That's what y/n yelled at me, that we deserved each other.
Namjoon: That's what she said? But Suga, I think you're overlooking something. Y/n told me something really hurtful you said to her, and it made her even more upset.
J-Hope: Suga, what is Namjoon talking about?
Jungkook: Yeah, what is it?
Jimin: Share it with us.
Taehyung: Spill the beans.
Suga: In a heated moment, I yelled at her, saying, "YOU'RE A SELF-CENTERED GIRL WHO CRAVES ATTENTION FROM PEOPLE TO PLEASE YOU."
Jin: I just got back from my call. What did I miss?
J-Hope: SUGA, WHAT THE F**K, MAN?
Taehyung: Woah, J-Hope, watch your language.
J-Hope: Not sorry, but seriously, you called y/n that? Dude—
Jimin: You f**ked up really bad.
Taehyung: Jimin, not you too. Watch your language.
Jin: Suga, I'm at a loss for words. YOU KNOW Y/N DOESN'T LIKE BEING CALLED THAT, AND LOOK WHAT YOU DID. YOU MADE IT WORSE.
Namjoon: Suga, buddy, I think you should take a break from us for a few weeks, okay?
Suga: Alright!
(Suga went offline.)
Namjoon: Since Suga is gone for a few weeks, we all need to let y/n have some space, alright? If we run into her at the 7-Eleven, we can attempt a brief conversation, but if she seems uneasy, just back off slowly.
Jimin: Understood!
Jungkook: Got it!
J-Hope: Sounds good!
Jin: Of course, I can manage that!
Taehyung: Acknowledged, captain!
