"Tae, let her wake up at her own pace. We nearly lost her a little while ago due to that seizure," Jungkook said, placing his right hand on Taehyung's shoulder. "I can't help it; it's my fault. I shouldn't have gotten involved. And when y/n learns the truth, she will despise me forever. As you mentioned, 'we nearly lost her,' my heart is broken inside," Taehyung replied, holding y/n's left hand.
Thirty minutes later, y/n gradually woke up, focused her eyes for a moment, stood up carefully, and noticed Jungkook and Taehyung looking relieved.
"Y/n, you're awake and alright. We nearly lost you just moments ago. If it hadn't been for your screams, we wouldn't have arrived in time. Taehyung managed to help you calm down with his care," Jungkook said, sobbing heavily as he embraced y/n.
"It's okay, Kookie. I appreciate you being here with me," y/n said, gently patting Jungkook's shoulder while he continued to hold her. Jungkook let go of y/n and carefully mentioned that Taehyung had something he wanted to tell her.
"Y/n, there's something important I need to share with you before it's too late," Taehyung said, nervously playing with his fingers. "I'm really confused. Are you keeping something from me, Tae?" y/n asked, looking concerned.
Taehyung took a deep breath, exhaled slowly, and began to explain everything to y/n about Namjoon's plan from the start.
"Tae, I'm a little upset with you, but I don't hate you. You were just influenced by him. Still, I appreciate you letting me know. I noticed he was acting strange that day at Lotte World, but I thought it was for another reason," y/n said, trying to comfort Taehyung. "But I still feel terrible," Taehyung replied, hiding his face. "Look on the bright side, Tae; now we know what to expect, and we can be ready to face Namjoon," Jungkook said, folding his hands.
"Um, there's something I haven't mentioned, and no one else knows about it, but since you and Tae are here, I think it's best for you both to hear it," y/n said, with a hint of enthusiasm.
Y/n ended up telling Taehyung and Jungkook about her first nightmare that occurred in the last week of May, detailing everything that happened, including the nightmare she just experienced moments ago.
"Let me get this straight: August 25th, the day Jin is launching his new album, is also when Namjoon intends to execute his revenge on you and broadcast it live," Jungkook said, his expression one of shock, "that makes sense of how his whole 5-step plan originated from the beginning." "We need to inform the members about this, right?" Taehyung asked, gazing at the ceiling. "I believe we should, so we can be ready for what lies ahead on that day," y/n replied.
The next day, y/n stayed close to Jungkook whenever they went outside. Sure, they drew attention, but some recognized that they were just good friends.
They eventually stopped at a supermarket.
"Stay with me for now; if we run into Namjoon here or anywhere else, I'll be ready to restrain him," Jungkook said, picking up a box of cereal while y/n looked at something else. After they both gathered their items, they walked to the checkout.
What they didn't realize was that Namjoon was far away, observing them and trailing behind slowly.
Jungkook and y/n exited the supermarket, made their way to the car, and headed straight back to Jungkook's place.
Namjoon, who had only brought five things, noticed the path they took and began to follow them.
When he reached Jungkook's place, he spotted y/n standing outside by herself.
However, as Namjoon began approaching her, he saw Jungkook coming out of the building and heading in his direction.
Thinking quickly, Namjoon leaped into a bush and remained silent throughout.
"Where are we headed?" y/n asked, glancing at her phone. "We're meeting the other members somewhere," Jungkook replied.
Y/n glanced up and gave Jungkook a side-eye for a moment, causing him to chuckle. She brushed it off and paused her steps.
She sensed that someone was observing her. Taking a moment, she scanned her surroundings and focused on a bush.
After staring at it for a while, she noticed a cap. She tugged on Jungkook's shirt to indicate that Namjoon was nearby.
Jungkook looked at the bush and spotted the cap.
He whispered something to y/n, and they both hurried away without glancing back.
"No, no, no. They are gone. How did y/n realize it was me?" Namjoon said, touching his head where the cap was. "Darn, that's why they noticed me. I need to follow them and find out where they are headed. I want y/n back with me. I won't allow Jungkook or the other members steal y/n away from me."
Jungkook and y/n reached the karaoke room where the other members were waiting.
"You guys made it," J-Hope said, smiling. "We did, but we have another issue," Jungkook replied, arms crossed.
Y/n walked over to the curtains, shut them, and sat down.
"Namjoon is the issue. I'm sure he'll track us down here. Jungkook and I hurried and walked in circles to make Namjoon think he was lost, which worked because when we looked back, he wasn't behind us anymore. Closing the curtains helps for now, but eventually, he will find us here," y/n said, looking serious.
"How did you find out Namjoon was following you two?" Jin asked, sitting next to y/n. "We caught him hiding in a bush close to the building," Jungkook replied, sitting alone. "That's really creepy and gives off stalker vibes," Jimin said, feeling uneasy. "The worst part is, Jimin, he is a stalker. He's been doing this for years and it makes y/n uncomfortable," Jin said seriously.
"Alright, let's switch topics because I'm feeling cold here. How about we start singing some songs and then we can talk about the plan?" Suga suggested.
The BTS members and y/n took turns singing for 2 hours before they all sat down and carefully worked on the plan.
"Alright, if we want this plan to succeed, we need to act normal so Namjoon doesn't get suspicious. But I'm worried about y/n; where is she and how will she fit into this plan?" Taehyung said, looking anxious and stressed.
"Tae, don't stress. This time, I'll be stronger than him. It won't be easy since this relationship was fake from the beginning, as I was the one who suggested we 'try again,' but I have a trick up my sleeve. To break up with him, I just need to show my self-centered side. Namjoon hates it when that side comes out because he knows he can't compete with it," y/n said with a mischievous smile.
"But y/n, that sounds both good and bad at the same time. If that's what you want, I will support it," Jin said, holding y/n's hands. "Oh, you two lovebirds, please get a room," Jungkook joked.
Y/n and Jin exchanged nods and playfully confronted Jungkook.
"Alright, alright, ouch, hey, that's not fair," Jungkook said, begging for mercy. "Say you're sorry," demanded y/n, who restrained Jungkook with Jin's help. "I'm sorry, please let me go bef—" Jungkook started to say before his phone rang.
Y/n and Jin stepped back, returned to their seats, and everyone fell silent as Jungkook revealed that Namjoon was calling.
