Suga walked into the music studio with a smile, catching the attention of the other members.
"Hey, Suga. You seem pretty cheerful. "Did something good happen?" wondered J-Hope. "It definitely did. Today y/n and I began dating," Suga said, feeling shy. "Ah, I see," replied J-Hope.
"Hey Jin, I just wanted to let you know that y/n mentioned your hangout was cancelled today because y/n's taking her college entrance exam. She asked me to pass along the message," Suga informed.
Jin completely forgot about today's y/n college entrance exam, which is why y/n took so long to meet up with him this morning. "I appreciate you letting me know, Suga. I'm going to step out for a moment; I'll be back shortly," Jin replied as he hurried out of the studio.
"Well, that was unexpected," Jungkook commented. "Jin appeared to be off today; does anyone have any idea what's going on with him?" asked Jimin. "If I remember correctly, he's busy with his solo album, so the pressure might be affecting him," responded J-Hope, genuinely worried.
"Creating a solo album requires a significant amount of effort, but he's Jin; he can pull it off," Jungkook said. "Absolutely, Jin is worldwide handsome: with his looks and voice, his solo albums have been soaring for years, yet this one seems a bit more unique. I can't quite put my finger on why this one feels different from the previous albums, but it just does," Jimin stated.
Taehyung sat in a corner of the sofa, saying, "I know why Jin feels this way, but I'd rather not say what it is." "Tell us, Taehyung, what is it?" asked Jimin.
Namjoon entered the room sarcastically, asking, "Yeah, Taehyung, why is Jin acting so strange?" "Oh Namjoon, you startled me," J-Hope responded. "Oh, did I startle you? I apologize. I was curious why there's so much chatter going on when we should be getting ready for the choreography for the song that's set to release in 5 weeks," Namjoon replied, agitated.
"To put it simply, where is Jin?" Namjoon questioned. "He went to the restroom to take some time to himself, but he mentioned it wouldn't take long. I believe it's been about 10 minutes since he left," Jungkook responded. "You all should prepare in the practice room; I'll go retrieve Jin," Namjoon instructed the other members.
With that, Namjoon exited the music room and made his way to the restroom to find Jin.
Upon entering the restroom, he heard someone sobbing.
"I can't understand why I'm upset about this. Spotting y/n and Suga holding hands at the front gate, where I was meant to see her today, is slowly shattering my heart. I'm starting to think I might have misjudged y/n, but as I mentioned earlier, I'll be observing y/n from a distance. If y/n encounters any issues in her relationship, I'm confident y/n'll turn to me because I'll always be here to support y/n. However, if this is how things are going to be, I just have to accept it," Jin said, his voice cracking as he cried softly.
"Jin, are you in there? We need to head to the practice room to rehearse for the new song that's set to release in five weeks," Namjoon said with concern. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just needed to let out some feelings," Jin replied, wiping away his tears.
Jin got up from the floor and opened the restroom door, spotting Namjoon there.
As Jin walked out, Namjoon trailed closely behind him.
"So Suga and y/n are in a relationship, and Jin is upset about it? That's pretty embarrassing but also intriguing. This is perfect because Jin can now concentrate on his album, and y/n won't be a distraction for him. This is the first phase in my approach; in just four more steps, y/n will be removed from the picture. However, to make my plan succeed, I have to act friendly toward y/n by adopting a fake persona so that she can fully trust me," Namjoon schemed devilishly.
Namjoon and Jin entered the practice room, and everyone began performing the choreography.
As usual, J-Hope is correcting the errors made by the other members, while Jin is struggling to keep up.
"Alright, let's have a short break," J-Hope said, concerned about Jin's body language. "Jin, do you mind if we chat for a moment?" J-Hope offered. "Uh, sure," Jin replied, feeling out of place.
J-Hope and Jin stepped out of the practice room and head to the hallway.
"I'm curious why J-Hope wanted to speak with Jin. The atmosphere felt gloomy as soon as he walked in," Jimin remarked. "Anyway, the clue that was given earlier today—that's where you all need to determine why Jin is feeling this way," Taehyung noted.
"Hey everyone, I believe we should give Jin some time alone; we all understand how he's working on his solo album and the track. After giving it considerable thought, and considering my past disrespect towards y/n, I've made the decision to sincerely apologize to her and begin treating her with kindness," Namjoon said with a grin. "That's fantastic to hear," Jungkook exclaimed. "If only you shared this with Jin, I'm certain it would brighten his day a bit," Jimin added.
Jungkook and Jimin began their celebration upon hearing the news, while Taehyung approached Namjoon and quietly said to him, "So, everything's going well with your plan? Just make sure you don't seem obvious to the others."
