Chapter 32 - Chapter 32 – The Strongest Duel in Hogwarts History

The enormous golden lion surrounding Gryffindor suddenly opened its blazing eyes.

Crimson light exploded outward.

ROAR—

The deafening roar shook the entire Room of Requirement.

Then, beneath everyone's stunned gaze, a gigantic golden lion clawed its way upward from the shattered floor itself.

Its massive body radiated overwhelming magical pressure as razor-sharp claws tore long cracks through the stone simply by moving.

At the same time, violent black magic erupted around Slytherin.

Dark energy condensed rapidly before forming a colossal black serpent with icy blue eyes.

Hissssss—

The giant serpent raised its head high, staring directly at the golden lion before it like a natural predator facing its destined enemy.

The atmosphere instantly became suffocating.

Logan stood nearby completely stunned.

What exactly were these spells?

From the beginning of the duel until now, he genuinely couldn't understand half the magic they were using.

This did not resemble normal Harry Potter magic at all.

Golden lions.

Black serpents.

Living magical manifestations.

And these things were absolutely not Patronuses.

The moment the lion swept its tail casually, cracks spread across the surrounding floor like spiderwebs. Meanwhile, the poisonous breath leaking from the serpent's mouth was literally freezing nearby stone blue.

If these counted as ordinary Patronus Charms, Logan would gladly eat the castle walls himself.

More importantly—

He wanted this magic.

Desperately.

Especially the spell they had called "Lionheart Dominion" and "Serpent Sovereign."

If he could integrate this type of magic into the forbidden spell he planned to create later…

Its potential would become unimaginable.

Without hesitation, Logan immediately activated Sage Mode through the spellbook system, attempting to analyse and memorise the spell structures directly.

Ding.

Sage Mode activated.

.....

.....

Nothing happened.

Logan's expression stiffened slightly.

Right.

Of course.

How could legendary magic be copied merely by watching it for a few seconds?

He really had been dreaming.

Still…

Watching the battle unfold before him, Logan nearly wanted to rush over, grab both founders' robes, and scream:

"Masters! Please teach me this spell!"

Unfortunately, nobody could hear him.

Meanwhile, Slytherin no longer looked at Gryffindor with even the slightest warmth.

Only fury remained.

"I'll show you the price of arrogance, Godric."

The instant he finished speaking, the giant black serpent launched forward violently.

The floor exploded beneath it.

Dust and shattered stone erupted everywhere as the serpent charged toward the golden lion with terrifying speed.

The lion immediately responded with an enraged roar before pouncing forward as well.

The two magical beasts collided head-on.

BOOM.

The impact shook the entire room.

The scene before Logan resembled a natural disaster more than a duel.

Fortunately, the Room of Requirement itself possessed absurd magical durability.

Inside any normal chamber, half the castle would already have collapsed.

But the terrifying part wasn't even the giant beasts.

It was the founders themselves.

Golden and black flashes continuously exploded across the battlefield as Gryffindor and Slytherin exchanged spells at speeds nearly impossible to track.

They appeared.

Disappeared.

Reappeared elsewhere instantly.

Every collision of magic resembled exploding meteors.

Logan increasingly felt like he was watching some absurd anime battle rather than a wizard duel.

At some point, Gryffindor finally revealed a brief opening.

And Slytherin instantly seized it.

"Chains of Dominion."

"Spatial Lock."

"Blazing Ambition."

Three spells exploded outward consecutively.

In an instant, Gryffindor's body froze mid-motion as invisible magical restraints locked him firmly in place.

Then several eerie green fireballs appeared around Slytherin.

They rotated rapidly before merging together into one massive sphere of blue-green flame.

Slytherin's expression became genuinely savage.

"Godric Gryffindor…"

"You bastard."

The gigantic blue fireball erupted forward.

It crossed the battlefield almost instantly.

And because of the binding spells locking his body and spatial coordinates simultaneously, Gryffindor couldn't dodge at all.

BOOOOOOM—

The resulting explosion swallowed the entire battlefield.

Towering flames surged violently through the room.

Even Logan, merely spectating nearby, felt his scalp turn numb from the sheer destructive power.

Smoke engulfed everything.

For several seconds, nobody could see Gryffindor at all.

Did he lose?

Logan stared into the smoke uncertainly.

But Slytherin's expression suddenly changed sharply.

Instead of relaxing, he looked even more vigilant.

As though facing something truly dangerous.

Then—

The smoke slowly parted.

A figure emerged from within.

Golden flames burned around Gryffindor's body like divine fire itself.

Not a single injury appeared on him.

Slytherin narrowed his eyes.

"Finally," he muttered quietly.

"Now you're serious."

Gryffindor slowly clenched one fist before raising it skyward.

"Halo of Light."

"Formless Mantra."

"Swift Dispersion."

"Titan Strength."

"Indestructible Body."

One enhancement spell after another stacked onto his body instantly.

Three solid triangular shields rotated around him continuously.

A silver translucent cloak appeared behind his back.

Golden flames surged violently around his body while crimson lightning crackled through the air.

The magical pressure alone became overwhelming.

Slytherin's expression twitched violently.

"Damn it."

He immediately slammed both hands against the floor.

"Gate of Absolute Ruin."

Several black-and-white diamond-shaped barriers instantly materialised before him.

But even then, Slytherin still didn't feel remotely safe.

Because he understood something horrifying.

Once Gryffindor fully entered this combat state—

Running became meaningless.

No matter where Slytherin teleported inside the room, Gryffindor would appear beside him instantly and begin beating him into the ground physically.

At this point, survival itself became the objective.

Slytherin immediately cast his signature defensive magic.

"Divine Armour."

Layer after layer of magical shields appeared around him.

Still unsatisfied, he rapidly pulled multiple enchanted artifacts from his robes and activated every defensive mechanism available.

More barriers.

More shields.

More protective curses.

Yet even then, watching the increasingly violent golden flames around Gryffindor, Slytherin still felt deep danger.

So he continued stacking protection spells desperately.

Finally—

With visible reluctance, Slytherin pulled out an ancient parchment scroll.

His expression twisted painfully.

Then he bit down hard on his own finger and let blood drip across the parchment while chanting an incomprehensible incantation.

Dark purple light exploded outward.

Four towering purple-armoured medieval knights emerged beside him instantly.

Each radiated terrifying magical pressure while silently guarding Slytherin from every direction.
