Jayjay's pov
As Rakki got up to leave I got a call from the king. Shit I had to take it.
"Hello?"
"Jay are u home safe? All good? Make sure someone is always with you I need to find out who attacked you"
"I'm okay keifer I'm safe in my room and do you even have any suspects in mind? Cause all three are down right?"
"Well my...my- I mean Kazier is there and my cousin"
I understood it was hard to call him a dad after what he did to keifer and his brothers.
"Well keifer I need to go I'm sorry I'm kinda busy"
He nodded agreeing to that.
After he put the phone down I say a message from Rory asking me to meet outside at this park.
I reluctantly got out cause it was rare for Rory to ask me something like that. I didn't wanna waste money on a cab so I just walked in silence and once I got there I noticed it wasn't just Rory also edrix.
"Guys what are you-"
Edrix interepted.
"We know your helping drew. Don't worry we won't tell Keifer. Infact we wanna help both of us will contribute about 10,000"
My jaw dropped.
10,000? That was huge. I wanted to question how they arranged that but I had a feeling I didn't wanna know. I couldn't help but hug them both.
"Thank you guys so much, thank you, thank you"
Now I only needed to arrange 25,000 I was over the moon.
I pulled back and smiled at both of them.
"Also you don't have much time left can u pull it off?"
Rory asked me with concern
I nodded before continuing.
"I have connections"
I smiled and we kept talking for some time until I eventually had to go. As I was gonna walk back I checked my phone and mica replied.
"Jay is there any problem? What's wrong? I can't understand your text but plz if something is wrong I won't leave your side."
Aww this is why calix fell for her.
I immediately called her.
"Hi mica i need help can u plz meet me"
I heard a pause before she spoke
"Well Jay I'm grounded...but I can make it work"
"Oh my god what's wrong? Everything okay?"
I asked concern bleeding through me.
"No nothing just my parents uhm..."
I could feel her hesitate to tell me as if she was embarrassed.
"My parents uhm found calix in my room..when they were supposed to be out of town and well they came home a day earlier without me knowing "
Wow these two were really trying to be grazel 2.0. but I always thought calix was reckless I didn't think mica would let him do that... But I wasnt gonna judge after what me and Keifer did in his car. Dammit I felt guilty and stupid for that night.
"Jay, you still there?"
Mica asked concern filling her voice.
"Nothing mica uhm I didn't know you were grounded and well it's kinda hard to say through the phone...but"
"Jay it's fine I'll meet you"
"But Mica won't you get in trouble"
"Well no if they don't know... I'll sneak out"
"Mica you don't have to"
"No jay your my friend and you have helped me a lot so for once let me help you instead"

I tried to argue cause I didn't want her getting in trouble cause of me.
"No jay...no arguments your my friend and you need me right now so I'll help no matter what"
God mica was really someone who knew to express gratitude.
"But Jay I can't get out for another two hours so you'll need to wait"
