I didn't even realize as one hour passed with just us talking and I turned to grace and I asked her the big question.
"Grace this isn't exactly right but...Im in an urgency for cash and there aren't many people I can ask since keifer can't find out."
I was searching her face for denial but she smiled and immediately pulled out her phone.
"How much Jay I can transfer it"
Wow she was so chill I was kinda surprised.
"How are you so- you know what nevermind that question is too rude."
"No it's okay... I just have my inheritance and well through that I can pay. So how much Jay?"
"5,000"
"Gimme a sec"
And within a few minutes I heard a notification. The cash was transferred.
I immediately hugged her.
"Thanks so much grace I don't even know how to thank you"
"Just being there for me was enough... You stayed when even Denzel turned his back"
I smiled at that and I had tell her something important.
"Grace don't tell Denzel about this keifer doesn't know and well I can't risk him finding out."
Grace nodded understandingly and I left feeling pleased and happy so 30,000 down only 20,000 to go.
I smirked as I knew just the person to ask next.

Percy asked in disbelief
"Kuya...it's an emergency and your the most reliable and well the closest person to me so your my only choice plz"
Okay that was totally not true but I had to butter him to get it to work.

He asked waiting for more compliments
An annoying gago. was what I wanted to say it was at the tip of my tongue but I had to convince him.

It seemed to be working as he cleared his throat and started his speech and I was cringing but I just kept listening cause I really needed the money.
And finally after what felt like an eternity he finally handed me the cash and I did my happy dance in my mind. I thanked him and left before he could question why I was asking for cash.

I got my another five thousand set from Mica so now I only needed 5k but I didn't know who to ask I was lost but I needed to do this not for drew but for Marianne.
Suddenly one person popped up in my mind I didn't know if he was reliable or even accessible but I didn't have another choice.
I picked up my phone and it rang several times repeatedly before he surprisingly picked up and started speaking.
"I know this is random and we're all worried about you what's going on"
"I'm sorry Jay I can't explain... But why are you even calling me I thought you gave up"
"Well I can't just do that your my friend and well there's another reason..."

And just like that I was right to call him cause I had the full 50,000 arranged before the deadline. All I had left to do was contact drew and get give him the money and return home before horoscope started doubting what I hold him.
I was walking alone down the street and well it was dark and as I called drew I got that feeling again...
