Toy surprise I woke up in my room in m6 room tucked in. God I felt so tired my arms and legs ached but today was the last exam and then freedom so I forced myself out of bed and went down to eat breakfast.
I knew horoscope knew I lied to him so 8 avoided eye contact s8nce I was honestly embarrassed.
None of us spoke as I ate until kuya said.
"I'll drop you Jay"
"But how about horoscope?"
"Well he's in a hurry he needs to be there early"
As much as I wanted to argue I knew it was best not to.
I reluctantly got up and quickly changed and by the time I was downstairs horoscope had left and kuya was yelling at me to hurry.
I ran into the car completely forgetting my water bottle.
"All set?"
"Wait kuya my water-"
I began but he stopped me.
"I'll buy you one on the way"
I nodded as I sat there zoning out. Kuya didn't talk much but I understood.
"Go get your water"
I heard him say. I was gonna ask him how when I noticed he had stopped outside mini mart.
He handed me his wallet and I walked out into mini mart and I took a water bottle. I was gonna pay when I noticed inside his wallet there was this girl around my age but the photo looked kinda old so maybe this was a while ago but she was so pretty like drop dead gorgeous.
"Ma'am cash or card?"
I was interepted from my thoughts. So I immediately pulled out card and paid and as I sat down I asked kuya.
"Who was the girl in the picture?"
"Jay! Did you drink? Cause what are you babbling about."
"No kuya the girl in the photo in your wallet."
The minute those words left my mouth. Kuya's face drained of colour.
"Don't ever ask me about her"
He scolded.
Geez why was he getting so worked up over a question.
Maybe she was his crush who rejected him.
Then my mind connected with what keifer had said.
Kuya had a girlfriend before.
She was the only one he truly loved.
This could've been her.
If it was her damn kuya had good taste cause this girl or woman or whatever was so pretty like even prettier then the witch(aka Ella) or Elixra who were two of the prettiest girls ever. Even tho I didn't wanna admit the witch was pretty
Damn then what about honey?
Was kuya just using her? Damn poor honey. Percy didn't want her either.
"You know you could be studying like revising right now"
Kuya asked me.
First of all revise? Bro I didn't even study anything to revise.
But he doesn't need to know that cause if he does I'm done for.
"Kuya you ever get that feeling like there's someone watching you even when you try to convince yourself there's no one?"
Kuya seemed to think before he spoke.
"Why do you ask so suddenly?
"Nothing just a question I'm curious about"
"If you ever think that then tell us immediately and to your question ya I do feel like I'm being watched very often infact".
So kuya had that feeling too so it was probably just my imagination and ias overreacting.
But did kuya know what happened yesterday or that day in that ally.
What would have happened if keigan didn't skip class that day. Or what if yesterday I had allowed myself to be taken who even was it? What was it all about? I don't understand anything...
But my thoughts once again drifted back to the woman I kuya's wallet
