The next day.
Pitter-Patter~!! Pitter-Patter~!!
Pitter-Patter~!! Pitter-Patter~!!
Pitter-Patter~!! Pitter-Patter~!!
Rain came down, unfortunately for Albert he had nothing to block the rain. So he took an alternative.
Tsssss~!!!
Tsssss~!!!
Tsssss~!!!
"Fuuu~"
Running through the streets to U.A. was Albert, steam coming off him, his skin red.
Tap-Tap!!
Tap-Tap!!
Tap-Tap!!
His body was vibrating, shivering at such a speed the heat generated evaporates the water when it touches his body. He is perfectly fine doing this.
Many noticed him but upon seeing who he was the people looked at him in awe. Not thinking how odd it was he was spewing steam, after all he was the star of the Sports Festival.
'So many eyes, I'm not comfortable being the center of attention, granted I made an impression that day.' Albert thought ignoring the passing stares at him.
Arriving at U.A. many came up to him given how he arrived.
"Uhoo! How are you making the steam!" asked Mina Ashido.
"I vibrate my body." His skin began to cool down and return to normal.
"Your quirk is really versatile." Said Todoroki. "Would you have been able to shiver your way out of my ice?"
"Most likely, but I didn't wanna find out."
They head inside the class and waited for class to start.
Clatter~ Clatter~
While everyone talks Albert sits still, focusing on his body and checking if everything is alright. He is a cautions person.
'Hmm… I wonder what kind of tv's criminals would have? Probably look for some warehouses or something.'
Ding!
Dong!
Ding!
The bell rang and everyone quieted.
Clack!
Aizawa entered the room right on time.
"Morning." He said. "Hope all of you enjoyed your break."
"Good morning sensei!" The whole class said at the same time.
"Hm. Seems the break did good for you all. Anyway. Today is a bit special, some Hero Informatics."
"Is it some test?" asked Kaminari.
"Is it hero law?" asked Kirishima.
"Naw, nothing like that. You'll be coming up with your Hero Aliases."
"UUUUOOOOO!!!" The class reputed into cheering.
Aizawa held his hand up and everyone quieted,
"Lovely. First concerning the pro draft picks I mentioned two days ago. It's based on who the pros think will be ready to join the hero workforce after another two to three years of experience. So their interested in your futures, of course you better not screw this up, there is still time for them to wane before graduation, and all other previous offers can be revoked. It happens more often than you think. Now that, that's out of the way here are the complete draft pick numbers."
Aizawa tapped the board and a graph appeared.
"Ooh~"
The graph was as expected.
Albert with 6,972, Todoroki with 4,621, Bakugo with 2,418 and all the others were within the three digit range.
"No surprise here." Aizawa said.
"Still." Said Sero. "There is a disparity between Albert and Todoroki, and Todoroki from Bakugo."
"Fear not, even if some of you got no drafts you can still work alongside the pros."
"Really!" said the purple one (Mineta).
"Yes even you. It's true that you all have already experienced more than most but seeing the pros in actions and taking part yourselves will still be worthwhile training."
"And that's where our hero names come in right!!" said Rikido Sato, a large muscular young man with a wide build and thick lips.
"Yeah. But note that you should pick something appropriate or else—"
Clack!!
The door is slammed open.
"YOU ALL WILL KNOW TRUE HELL!!"
Everyone turned to see Midnight.
"The name you pick now may be what the world ends up calling you. That's what happened to planet of pros out there."
"Midnight!!" the class shouted in surprise.
"Amazing." Aizawa said. "Truer words couldn't have been stated. Midnight here will be assessing the sensibility of the names you pick."
"Sensei why aren't you doing it?" asked Ochaco.
"Not good at it." He gets his sleeping bag. "Midnight has a eye for this stuff. Listen to her advice well as what you pick reflects ones true character. Like with All Might."
They hand over boards to everyone in class.
'Hm. A name huh?'
He never thought of a name he would use for himself. He has and had many names over the years. But not one that he picks that would reflect who he is.
"Hm…"
Albert stared at the blank board as if a name would reveal itself to him.
'A name… a name. Hm… Mélusine—Lancelot… should I go with that? Lancelot was said to be a very talented man and much like me he eventually—Ah." He smiled. 'That is the name perfect for me.'
He scribbled down the name, and he found that he quiet liked it, proud even. After a good amount of time the class went up, eventually it was Albert's turn.
"So what did you go with?" Midnight asked, looking forward to what he picked.
The class and even Aizawa were curious as to what he lands on.
"I chose the name, Clack!" he lightly slams it against the front desk and smiles. "Perfect Hero: Galahad."
Galahad, the only knight who is consistently known to have successfully achieved the Holy Grail. Much like the pure knight once Albert gets his hands on the grail he too will depart from the world and live his life, free from everything and one.
Preferably not in heaven.
"Oh~" Midnight liked the name. "That's a rather impressive name, do you think you can live up to it?"
"I can and will."
'I must.'
He was sure if Mélusine was there, she was at home building Gundam model kits, she would have given him praise for such a name.
After a while Aizawa woke up, two of the students needed some revisions, those being Bakugo, he kept making it to violent, and Ida. Ida's was one that caught Albert's eye.
Looking at him Albert could still see something eating away at Ida.
"… Hm."
Whatever it was Albert had nothing to do with it.
"Alright." Aizawa said. "Your internship starts in a week. I'll be handing out personalized lists to those who were drafted. You may choose from among those who scouted you. While those who weren't drafted this is a list I just passed out contains forty agencies all over the country willing to accept interns, choose one from this list. Each one has their specialty and region so once again, pick wisely and don't be stupid."
They handed out the papers, but Albert didn't even hesitate. He put down the Ryukyu Agency.
"You pick rather quickly." Tsuyu said coming up to him.
"Yeah, I was actually scouted back at the Sports Festival, so I don't really had to look."
"Oh?" said Kirishima. "Who did you pick!"
"Ryukyu."
"Oh the No.9 hero Ryukyu!" Midoriya said, chiming in. "Did you not like the other options?"
"They are fine but the hero I wanted to intern for doesn't really… have a agency? I only picked Ryukyu because they are friends."
"And who might this be?" Aizawa asked coming up to him. "It would be nice to know who you are really going to."
"Would I know them?" Midnight also came along.
"Mirko."
"…Ah." They nodded their heads.
"Understandable." Aizawa nodded. "Good to know."
"Ooh! Mirko! The No.11th hero of Japan! Mirko the Rabbit Hero!" Midoriya said enthusiastically. "She hops around all of Japan without a set jurisdiction! She is rare to see her in action from how much she travels! She also doesn't have any sidekicks!"
"Yeah so she came up to me and asked me if I wanted to intern with her, I said yes." Albert hands Aizawa his paper.
Aizawa takes it to see he put down Ryukyu Agency and in parentheses it says (Place holder since Mirko has no agency).
"Alright. It's your choice."
'Can't say the two of them would make a mean hero and sidekick.'
