Walking over, he knelt on one knee with a slight bow and said "My name is Yuki Silverclaw, thanks for saving my life."
Kira looked shocked and asked "What do you mean?"
"If you didn't help yesterday I would have died, I owe you my life." He repeated.
"I was only doing it to save my life and if you owe me your life then what do you mean by your "mate", is that how you repay your saviour?" She asked.
"I already repaid the debt, now you are my mate." He said while standing up from his kneeling position and returning to his seat across the campfire.
Kira's eyes twitched and she was about to pull out her hairs in rage. "And who made me your mate? When did you repay the debt?"
"You almost died yesterday, you were on your last breath so I gave you my mate bound to save you" Yuki said calmly while looking at the blazing campfire.
Listening to Yuki's words, she remembered the last hit she recieved before passing out, it definitely caved her skull in and she had a low chance of surviving that hit.
"How am I still alive? And why do you have red eyes, you're a warewolf?" She asked with an intrigued look on her face.
Yuki raised his head from the campfire and tilted his head while looking at Kira. "You like asking so many obvious questions, I'm a warewolf yes and I called you out to have a few words with you."
"Call...."
"You're also a warewolf now, a male Alpha can only have one Luna at a time and unless the present one dies I can't have another one" he said while staring at Kira.
The two remained at the campfire staring at each other till Kira said "So you mean I'm bound to you or something now?"
"We are bound together and you're a warewolf now, a Luna warewolf " Yuki replied.
"You're an alpha?" Kira asked while sizing Yuki up.
"Yes"
"WAY more unimpressive than I thought it would be, such a disappointment." Kira said looking at Yuki's ragged teenage body.
"Well..... As unimpressive as I am you have no choice" Yuki said with an annoyed look on his face.
"Well I have a choice, isn't it just to kill you or wait till you die or something?"
"It doesn't work that way, if a Luna dies the Alpha can have another Luna but if the Alpha dies the Luna will also die." Yuki said with an emotionless look on his face lowering his head and looking at the campfire.
Kira's mouth twitched "How Is that fair? It's obviously biased against the Luna and why should I be bound to you?"
"I will say it one more time, if I didn't do it you would have died."
Kira looked at Yuki with a blank look on her face wondering what her fate would be like from then on.
"If you're an Alpha then why were they trying to kill you?" Kira asked with a puzzled look on his face.
"That's because only one Alpha can exist at a time. Once another Alpha is born he receives a death order by the existing Alpha. And there's already an Alpha on Aetherion." Yuki replied while looking at the campfire with blank eyes remembering what happened after he became an Alpha during his coming of age ceremony few days before meeting Kira.

"Yuki!" Yuki heard his name and turned around to see a girl skipping towards him, she had flowing black hair and a cute look with a cheerful smile on her face.
"It's finally happening today!! Are you excited? You are exited right? You'll officially be an adult today!" She said while skipping round him.
"I told you not to call me Yuki again, what happened to brother?" He said while knocking her on her head making her scrunch up her face in pain.
"That hurts!" She said with a pout.
"Serves you well"
"Mother is calling you in the main hall, I'm the one at fault for coming over to call you. Go desk with it" she said then turned around with a pout.
"Diana are you angry? Okay don't be angry at me I'm at fault I'm sorry okay?" Yuki said while patting her head.
Diana refused to talk and kept her head away. "Okay I'll give you one thing you want, one wish as long as I can do it it's yours." He said.
"Oh really??? You owe me one then" she said then sprinted off.
"Did I just get scammed?" Yuki said while rubbing his head.
After walking over to the main hall a spacious hall with his mother standing in the distance, he walked over and called out "Mother I'm here"
His mother turned around to look at him and stretched out her hand "Come here Yuki"
He moved closer to her and she pulled him into her embrace while rubbing his head. "You're going to be fine, I know you're anxious but it will be alright Yuki"
"Your father wants you to be a guard or knight but even if you can't pass the awakening ceremony I'll still be here to take you in. Don't feel pressured, if you fail and Robert pulls up a stupid stunt I'll just discipline him."
The warewolves generally had an awakening ceremony conducted for them by a Bishop when they hit eighteen years of age.
They would have their first transformation and awaken their wolves when they hit fifteen years of age then go their awakening ceremony to gain a new class by eighteen years.
It was very rare to see warewolf not awaken his wolf by eighteen years but it would still occur at a ratio of 1/10 so the possibility existed and most, about 6/10 would awaken the pawn class while 1/10 would awaken the knight class and become soldiers, 1/10 would become guards who were a level above the knights and serve directly under the alpha just like Yuki's father Robert who was a guard.
The last 1/10 would become bishops with decent combat power but mostly focused on spells and conducting awakening ceremony for the new generation, they were highly respected.
Robert wanted Yuki to at least awaken as a knight or a guard for the best. Yuki had his first transformation when he was thirteen years old and was known as a genius which gave Robert a lot of Fame placing a lot of pressure on Yuki making him anxious.
"Don't worry Yuki, even if you can't awaken a class I'll still be here for you." She said while rubbing his head to calm him down.
The two were absorbed in a world of their own when Diana suddenly walked in and called "Yuki, it's time we need to go now the Bishop is waiting already!" She said while skipping over.
"Go on, I'll be cheering for you I trust you'll do well Yuki"
"Okay mother."
