Yuki's POV
When the bishop finished his chant all I felt was a sudden burning sensation and my whole body felt hot, where did that howl come from and who was it. It felt like the howl was targeted at me or I was just mistaking it.
The eyes locking onto me made me feel iritated and angry, I didn't even understand where the feeling came from but what I could see was my father running towards me in his fully transformed wolf form and jumped at me. The last thing I saw was his fist coming at me so fast I couldn't react before going unconscious.

Author's POV
"Mary take Diana and leave, now!" Robert said while jumping at Yuki then clenched his fists and gave him a huge blow knocking him unconscious and grabbed him then burst into a sprint ignoring all the others nearby running into the distance with Yuki on his shoulder.
"Get him!!" A voice suddenly came from the direction of the castle and a wolf could be seen sprinting over at full speed.
Mary held Diana's hand and silently returned to the car and left the awakening ceremony.
The wolf returned after a while and transformed back into a man in his late twenties with blonde hair and knelt on one knee. "He escaped, I couldn't catch up to him" a man in his early thirties walked up to him and sighed looking at the direction Robert ran towards.
"The Alpha gave out orders to seal all borders and find him, it looks like he's really angry."
"Robert chooses his family over duties in the end, he was way too caring for his own good."
"It's the same thing that limits him in the end, leave him and go over to his house with the other guards, bring his wife and daughter to the castle. He'll come over himself." The man said then turned around and returned to the castle.
"Dave call the others, I'll be sprinting over to lord Roberts mansion." He said then transformed back into his wolf form and burst into a long sprint.

Yuki opened his eyes and found himself in a strange room, feeling dizzy with his head ringing all over, he walked out of the room and found his father sitting beside a campfire outside the room.
"Yuki you're up, you must be feeling cold, come over and take a seat." Robert said while looking behind him.
"Father where are we? What happened at the ceremony, did I fail?" Yuki asked feeling puzzled.
"You didn't fail, you just did way too well. I am way too overjoyed, you surpassed me already." Robert said with a chuckle.
"Where is mother?"
"She's fine, she'll be overjoyed you awakened the best class a wolf could ever awaken, you're suffering from success." He said while tapping the empty space behind him. "You must be confused, take a sit I'll tell you a story."
Yuki walked over and took his seat beside Robert.
"Do you know how warewolves were created?" Robert asked.
"No" Yuki replied shaking his head.
"Warewolves were originally humans, the first warewolf offended the moon goddess and she cursed him creating the first warewolf"
"A curse?"
"I don't know the full details of what happened back then it was long ago but I remember he was cursed." Robert replied.
"I've met humans and being a warewolf isn't that bad, it looks more like a blessing" Yuki said while tilting his head.
Robert smiled and said "That's because you look at it that way, the first warewolf was killed... By his own son"
Yuki's eyes widened "Why??"
"Warewolves are created as humans with wolf forms and wolf instincts, we have mates howl at the moon and we go out to hunt, we love eating meat and the same applies to pack rules."
"Each pack has their own territory boundaries and packs often invade others, each Alpha is filled with a strong sense of territory even more than normal wolves or other animals." Robert said while looking at the camp fire.
"When a new alpha is born in the territory of an existing alpha, the order is to be executed on the spot or the flames of war will engulf the two packs and take the lives of many."
"Over time, the pack war led to a lot of conflicts and till now, the curse still exists. Everytime a new Alpha is born it's a new bloodshed all over and it might even lead to the extinction of both packs."
Yuki's eyes suddenly trembled "You said I awakened as an Alpha?"
"Yes, and Nyx is after your life right now. He is probably searching all around for you"
"How did I escape from the awakening ceremony? What will happen to mother? And Diana?" Yuki asked with a panicked look on his face.
"I only ask of one thing from you, run as far as you can and live a normal life, don't get involved with the matters of the pack, your mother and sister will be fine. Nyx won't dare to do anything to them, I'll return to the pack."
"You should go far away and don't entertain the thoughts of forming a pack till you're strong enough to stand strong on yourself or till Nyx dies."
"Nyx's territory covers the whole of Aetherion, the only way to create a new pack without facing Nyx would be to leave Aetherion. And there's no way to leave so just live a normal and peaceful life out there and forget about the pack. Your mother and sister will be alright." Robert said then looked towards Yuki and patted him on the shoulder.
"Remember, you can only have one Luna at a time as the alpha, choose carefully when picking one and cherish her. Good luck son, I trust you'll do well." He said then stood up and left.
"Where am I supposed to go?"
"Just follow that pathway, you'll get to an human city there's no one who would trouble you over there." Robert said then sprinted off into the distance.
"Father... Take care of mother"
"I would do that even if you didn't say it." Robert muttered to himself.
Yuki turned around and left the campfire, walking along the pathway wondering about the new life he would live from then on.
